Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Memorials: Carle Foundation Hospital Inpatient Cancer Unit.
Betty was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Decatur, the daughter of Lynn and Gladys Grady DeVore. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Women of the Moose Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary Post 105. She retired after 20 years as a sales associate with Carson, Pirie Scott & Co. She married John T. Walsh Jr. Oct. 25, 1986, in Decatur.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Ronald Snoke of Millstadt; Randal Snoke and wife Beatrice of Hammond; Terry Snoke and wife Penny of Cerro Gordo; David Snoke and wife Theresa of Findlay; daughter, Rebecca Clark and husband John of Milmine; grandchildren, Kris, Ben and Whitney Snoke; Lindsey and Tracy Walsh; Michael Clark; great-grandchild, Tanner Snoke; stepsons, Tony Walsh and wife Carol of Lakeview, Ohio; John Walsh and wife Robin of Springfield; Bill Walsh and wife Darla of Bement; Rich Walsh and wife Annie of Monticello; Jim Walsh of Cerro Gordo; Chris Walsh and wife Celine of Effingham; Joe Walsh and wife Lori of O'Fallon, Mo.; 16 stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.
Niendick
LATHAM - Martha I. Niendick, 57, of Latham died 2:30 p.m. Sunday (March 31, 2002) in her sister's home.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Dawson & Wikoff Colonial Chapel North. Memorials: Latham Volunteer Fire Department.
Ms. Niendick was born May 16, 1944, in Coles County, the daughter of Lawrence and Emma Doedtman Niendick. She was a garment worker at Eldorado Apparel and worked for Service Master, which was contracted to Archer Daniels Midland Co.
Surviving are her son, Douglas Niendick of the Coast Guard stationed in Chicago; sisters, Florence Derickson of Mattoon; Margaret Ruffini of Decatur; Helen Crawford of Jordan, Ark.; Louise Niendick of Effingham; Betty Hall and husband Stuart of Maroa; brothers, Richard Niendick of Effingham; William Niendick and wife Kay of Assumption.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
The family would also like to thank special friends, Paulette and Albert Reiterman, for their loving care and compassion during Martha's illness.

TOWER HILL - Joseph Ambrose "Joe" Boarman, 61, of Tower Hill died 3:15 p.m. Monday (April 1, 2002) in his home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with the Rev. David McHenry officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday with 8 p.m. Masonic rites. Mr. Boarman was born April 25, 1940, in Morrisonville, the son of Lawrence Ambrose and Lenora Alice Lovens Boarman. He was a retired truck driver. He and his wife were co-owners of Boarman's Truck-Car Wash and Mini Storage, Tower Hill. He was a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge 53 and Moose Lodge 1294, both of Shelybville. He married Marcella Cox Nov. 24, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Roger Boarman and wife Wendy of Shelbyville; Robert Boarman and wife Michelle of Bradenton, Fla.; Glean Boarman and wife Lori of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Brian Boarman and wife Samantha of Tower Hill; daughter, Lydia Rigsby and husband Doug of Wake Forest, N.C.; stepdaughters, Deidra White and Kimberly Eldridge and husband Steve, all of Tower Hill; Tina Calloway and husband Glenn of Morgan Hill, Calif.; brother, Bob Boarman and wife Pam of Shelbyville; sisters, Shirley Gaddis and husband Lyle of Shelbyville; Donna Norris and husband Gene of Ballwin, Mo.; Mary Evelyn Norris and husband George of Taylorville; Sue Roessler of Cowden; Betty Fulford and husband Carl of Shelbyville; sister-in-law, Maggie Boarman of Nokomis; 15 grandchildren.

Mrs. Crowl was born March 15, 1937, in Taylorville, the daughter of Alexander and Stella Jevaltas. She graduated from South Fork Community High School in Kincaid. She was a homemaker and had lived in Pana since 1969. She married Wayne E. Crowl Sept. 14, 1968, in Springfield.
Surviving are her husband; special friends, Sandy Lynn and Linda Parkinson.
