DECATUR -- Jimmy A. Crose, 67, Decatur, died Sunday (Jan. 12, 2003). Arrangements incomplete: Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes.

DECATUR -- Mary Marguerite Duncan, 88, Decatur, died Sunday (Jan. 12, 2003). Arrangements incomplete: Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes.

Ferrill

DECATUR -- Catherine V. Ferrill, 79, of Decatur, former Linn & Scruggs employee, died 1:10 a.m., Saturday (Jan. 11, 2003) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, with the Rev. Richard Weltin and J. Kent Hickerson officiating. The family requests casual attire. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery. Memorials: DMH Home Health & Hospice Services.

Catherine was born Aug. 18, 1923, in Decatur, the daughter of Joseph Cooper and Jewetta Stolley. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Argenta. She married Donald E. Ferrill. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Surviving are her daughters, Katherine Parson of Clinton and Judy (Jerry) Mahoney of Argenta; grandchildren, Vicki (Donnie) Huggins; Rick Hunter; Julie (Rick) Kirby; Jeff (Shelley) Mahoney; Tim (Kelly) Mahoney; great-grandchildren, Joseph Hunter; Clay Huggins; K.C. Kook; Kelsey Kook; Chase Stephenson; Caleb Mahoney; Dalton Mahoney; sister, Virginia Strong of Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters.

Catherine Ferrill was a faithful wife, loving mother, and grandmother who will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Rodgers

FORSYTH -- Harold W. Rodgers, 73, of Forsyth passed away 4:56 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 12, 2003) after a long battle with heart disease in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Dawson & Wikoff Colonial Chapel North Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Weldon Cemetery. Memorials: Ronald McDonald Charities.

Mr. Rodgers was born Feb. 17, 1929, in Fairfield, the son of Vern and Dixie Thompson Rodgers. He farmed for many years in the Maroa area. He was formerly employed by Decatur Public School District 61 and had assisted with services at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Homes. He was an Air Force veteran. He married Betty Wilson on July 6, 1972.

Surviving are his wife; children, David Rodgers and wife Connie of Maroa; Paula Hall and husband Mike of Mount Zion; Monte Rodgers and wife Britne of Decatur; stepchildren, Cynthia Wiott of St. Louis, Mo.; Steven Shaw and wife Dee Dee of Dewitt; Marcia Boyer and husband Steve of Six Lakes, Mich.; brothers, Bernard Rodgers of Ludlow; Leonard Rodgers and wife Judy of Lafayette, Ind.; Howard Rodgers of Effingham; sisters, Mary Hitchens and husband Lloyd of Urbana; Vera Lee of St. Charles; Loretta Cheney and husband Kenny of Rantoul; grandchildren, Mike Rodgers and wife Heather; Nick Rodgers; Jamie Rodgers; Austin Rodgers; Kristen Hall; Melissa Rodgers; Matthew Rodgers; stepgrandchildren, Eric Swanson and
wife Brandy; Jon Swanson; Britta Swanson; Danielle Edwards; Alison Williams; Kathleen Case; Kassandra Case; Jacob Shaw and wife Sarah; great- stepgranddaughter, Alexandria Shaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth; two brothers; three sisters.

MOUNT ZION -- Delores Mary Sharp, 81, of Mount Zion died 6:13 p.m. Saturday (Jan 11, 2003) in St. Mary's Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Woodworth officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: ABWE, Riverside Baptist Church or St. Mary's Adult Day Care Center.

Delores was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Syracuse, N.Y., the daughter of Edgar and Jenny Trowbridge Eno. She was an executive secretary for Hanshaw Chemical Co., retiring in 1979. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and attended St. Mary's Adult Day Care Center. She married Warren Sharp in November 1942. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 1998.

Surviving are her sons, Lawrence Sharp and wife Rebecca of Aurora, Ohio; Charles Sharp and wife Theresa of Winston-Salem, N.C.; daughter, Pam Daniel and husband Chuck of Mt. Zion; brothers, Burton Eno and wife Helen of Mattydale, N.Y.; Howard Eno of Syracuse; sister, Flora Hoffman of Minona, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; seven brothers and sisters; one great-grandchild.

TAYLORVILLE -- Winifred Mae "Winnie" Boeker, 78, of Taylorville died 2:20 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 12, 2003) in St. Vincent's Memorial Hospital, Taylorville.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church, Taylorville, with Dr. Phil Icenogle officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery. Memorials: First United Methodist Church of Taylorville.

Winnie was born April 10, 1924, the daughter of Maurice Deal and Wilma Hoffman. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a math major and taught high school math for three years in Petersburg and 24 years in Pawnee. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Illinois Retired Teachers Association, Christian County Retired Teachers Association, Lady Land Owners and past Worthy Matron of OES Glenwood Chapter. She married Albert E. Boeker on May 30, 1948, in Shiloh Church, Morrisonville.

Surviving are her husband, daughter, Patricia J. and husband Steven E. Creviaton of Sullivan; son, David L. and wife Janet L. Boeker of Morton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Earl Deal; niece, Janet K. Deal Miller.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Cerro Gordo. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Memorials: Cerro Gordo Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Lauber was born April 23, 1951, in Decatur, the daughter of Witt Dyer and Myrtle Doss Dyer. Jeanene was a member of Cerro Gordo Assembly of God Church. She was employed the last nine years as a pharmaceutical technician at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Jeanene graduated from Cerro Gordo High School and had lived her entire life in Cerro Gordo. She married Richard A. Lauber on June 20, 1970, in Decatur.

Surviving are her husband of Cerro Gordo; daughter, Jill Hachenberg and husband Jeff of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon Hachenberg; sister, Virginia Hart of Mount Zion; brother, Jack Dyer of Southern; nephews, Michael Hart Jr. and family of Cerro Gordo; Tony Hart and family of Oakley; Jay Dyer of Oklahoma City, Okla.; mother and father-in-law, Wilbur and Katheryn Lauber of Harristown; sister-in-law, Racine Lyster of Decatur; nieces, Peggy and Shawna; nephew, Clint.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Montague

CERRO GORDO -- Angela Rae "Angie" Montague, 24, of Perry, Mo., sister of Larry Montague of Cerro Gordo, died Tuesday (Jan 11, 2003) from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bienhoff Funeral Home, Perry, Mo., with the Rev. Dale Jorgenson officiating. Pallbearers will be Wes Coil, Jasper David, Darrill Lynn, Johnathan Chipman, Drew Barnett and Aaron Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Montague, Larry Montague, and Richard Montague. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Laddonia Cemetery. Memorials: Laddonia Cemetery Association.

Miss Montague was born Jan. 26, 1978, in Mexico, the daughter of Dennis Lee and Janie Lynn Meckley Montague. She was a lifetime area resident and member of Centennial Baptist Church, Mexico. She was a 1996 graduate of Mark Twain High School and graduated from John Woods Community College in 2000 with an associate degree. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Missouri in 2002. She had worked part-time at the Junction Restaurant and Lounge for several years. She was owner/operator of Montague Funiture Store in Mexico.

Surviving are her parents; grandparents, Wayne and Violet Meckley of Mesa, Ariz.; brothers, Marcus Montague and Richard Montague, both of Mesa, Ariz.; Larry Montague of Cerro Gordo.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William G. and Lorene Montague.
