Rodger was born Aug. 25, 1957, in Decatur, the son of Fred T. and Joan Spires McClure. He worked for several years as a shipping and receiving clerk for an automobile manufacturer in California.
Surviving are his mother of Decatur; brothers, Michael (Carolyn) McClure of Lancaster, Ohio; Dan McClure of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Sandy (Rey) DeDios of Decatur; companion, Luella Hill-McClure of Florida; sister-in-law, Mary McClure of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Thomas W. McClure.

FINDLAY -- Robert Oliver Brooks, 82, of Findlay passed away 9:51 p.m. Monday (Jan. 13, 2003) in Shelby Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home, Findlay, with Mike Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery, Findlay, with military rites. Memorials: Findlay American Legion or Findlay Grade School.
Mr. Brooks was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Carlyle, the son of William Jefferson and Sidney Mae Hall Brooks. He was a member of First Christian Church in Findlay and a World War II veteran. He was a retired janitor for Findlay schools. He married Marjorie Blanche Cruitt on July 5, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo. She preceded him in death March 12, 1989.
Surviving are her sons, Jack Brooks, Roger Brooks and David Brooks, all of Findlay; daughter, Judy Francisco of Findlay; brother, Duane Brooks of Moweaqua; sister, Betty Brooks of Moweaqua; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert E. Brooks.
