DECATUR -- Betty Wydell Burnett, 78, of Hanceville, Ala., formerly of Decatur, died Thursday (Jan. 30, 2003) in Hanceville.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mrs. Burnett was born May 13, 1924, in St. Johns, the daughter of Lavern Roy and Olive Matilda Patterson Wilson. She spent the past few years in Alabama. She was a former member of Central United Methodist Church in Decatur.
Surviving are her son, Tim (Vicky) Burnett of Fort Collins, Colo.; daughter, Cheryl (Chuck) Sileven of Cullman, Ala.; sister, Sharon Becker of Inverness, Fla.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Eva and Earl Johnson of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy C.; and sister, Jean Wilson.

Lamb
DECATUR -- Raymond L. Lamb, 88, of Decatur died 5:30 a.m. Friday (Jan. 31, 2003) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.
Mr. Lamb was born Sept. 11, 1914, in Golconda, the son of Raymond R. and Effie Cooper Lamb. He worked for Amoco as an auditor and inspector. Ray was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge in Golconda. He enjoyed golf, sports and bridge, was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed his many friends. He married Ferne Fox on July 5, 1935, in Golconda. Ferne and Ray loved Golconda and always considered it their home.
Surviving are his wife; sons, James R. Lamb and wife Tieng of Grandview, Mo.; John A. Lamb and wife Gail of Downs; brother, Bill Lamb and wife Donna of Peoria; sister, Frieda Downey and husband Leo of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Sumkit, Jeanne, Ann, Raymond, Michael and Austin; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Phil; and two sisters.
Patterson
DECATUR -- Russell A. "Tony" Patterson, 86, of Decatur died 4:48 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 29, 2003) in the Department of Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care
System, Danville.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, with military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials: VFW Firing Squad or American Heart Association.
Mr. Patterson was born March 31, 1916, in Hinton, the son of Bert and Florence Godwin Patterson. He was a house painter and member of Lakeview Baptist Church, VFW 99 and DAV 17. Mr. Patterson was an
Army veteran of World War II. He married Pauline Vivian Dunn on April 19, 1948. She preceded him in death in 1999.
Surviving are his sons, Donald Patterson of Springfield; Michael Patterson of Gurnee; daughters, Cynthia Vail and husband Butch of Shelbyville; Diana Gipson and husband Dennis of Covington, Ind.; Arlene Bush and husband James of Farmer City; sister, Irene Hardy; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Richard; and one brother.

Craig was born Jan. 18, 1957, in Decatur, the son of William "Tig" and Marjorie Hoaglin Winters. He was a member of Warrensburg Sportsman's Club, American Pool Association and the Eagles Club. Mr. Winters owned and operated the Hideaway Tavern and was an avid Cardinals fan. He married Linda Midiri in 1978 in Decatur.
Surviving are his mother of Warrensburg; daughter, Kara Winters of Springfield; son, Tyler Winters of Springfield; sisters, Cindy Ellis and husband Stu of Decatur; Nancy McLean and husband Dale of Chatham; brother, Michael Winters of Warrensburg; twin brother, Gregg Winters of Warrensburg; former wife, Linda Winters of Springfield; nephew, Aaron McLean; nieces, Erica McLean, Jamie Ellis and Chrissy Ellis.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Pearl was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Allenville, the daughter of Sheridan and Effie Blackwell Mathias. She was a homemaker and member of Lovington Christian Church. She married Thomas W. Fleming on June 25, 1932, in Sullivan. He preceded her in death April 29, 1991.
Surviving are her sons, Lanny Fleming of Bethany; Thomas G. Fleming of Wauconda; sister, Judy Elzy of Lovington; half sister, Nancy Dyer of Mellott, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William G. "Bill" Fleming; daughter, Janet Wilson; one sister; one half sister and five grandchildren.
