ATWOOD -- Edith Frances Rieman, 93, of Atwood died 7:11 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 11, 2003) in the Arthur Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Hilligoss-Shrader Funeral Home, Atwood, with the Rev. Michael Ruhlig officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Mackville Cemetery, Atwood. Memorials: Immanuel Lutheran Church, Tuscola or Arthur Home.
Mrs. Rieman was born Nov. 13, 1909, in Tuscola, the daughter of Ennis A. and Bessie Pearl Yeargin Coslet. She was a homemaker and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Tuscola, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and James Reeder American Legion Post 770 Ladies Auxiliary. She married Carl F. Rieman on Aug. 17, 1929, in Tuscola. He preceded her in death Aug. 27, 1986.
Surviving are her son, Charles E. and wife Charlotte of Bella Vista, Ark.; daughters, Ruth J. Dyer of Tuscola; Carol A. Clark and husband Donald of Philo; 12 grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Donald A. Rieman.

Mr. Hendrix was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Milmine, the son of John M. and Sara Barber Hendrix. He was a retired farmer, having farmed in the Milmine area all of his life. He was a member of Piatt County Farm Bureau, where he was a former board member. He was a member of Milmine Christian Church. He marred Beulah Bernice Gisinger on Oct. 23, 1941, in Troy, Mo.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Judy Sochor and husband John of Cerro Gordo; son, John W. Hendrix and wife Lisa of Monticello; brother, Gaylord Hendrix and wife Gloria of Milmine; grandchildren, Jennifer A. Sochor; Sara A. Sochor; John Paul Hendrix; Ryan W. Hendrix and wife Shannon; Molly L. Hendrix; Anna K. Hendrix; Alyssa K. Hendrix; great-grandchildren, Samantha N. Hendrix and Shelby E. Hendrix.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Katherine Dobson.

STONINGTON -- Mandy "Katie" Nolen, 72, of Stonington died noon Tuesday (Feb. 11, 2003) in her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery.
Mrs. Nolen was born Jan. 28, 1931, in Stonington, the daughter of William and Genevieve Smith Sims. She was a retired secretary for Nolen Plumbing & Heating. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Stonington and Order of the Eastern Star of Blue Mound. She married John Nolen on July 17, 1949, in Stonington.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Jeff Nolen and wife Terri of Stonington; Steve Nolen and wife Patti of Elgin; daughter, Susan Nolen-Hoeksema and husband Richard of Ann Arbor, Mich.; grandchildren, Daniel and Katlin Nolen of Stonington; Michael Hoeksema of Ann Arbor; brothers, Bill Sims and Laura of Venice, Fla.; Jess Sims and wife Frances of Hillyard, Fla.; Danny Sims and wife Nancy of Edinburg; sisters, Juanita Ashburn and husband Mervil of Blue Mound; Rose Waite of Taylorville; Betty Tilton of Tower Hill; JoAnn Creamer and husband Bill of Owaneco; Charlene Graven and husband Leland of Findlay.

CLINTON -- Beulah Reason Wright, 84, of Clinton died 4:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 11, 2003) in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, with Pastor Bruce Jacobs officiating. There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Wright was born April 18, 1918, in Moweaqua, the daughter of Ed and May Z. Dotson Redding. She was a retired beautician. She married Herbert Reason on Dec. 25, 1936. He passed away Feb. 12, 1958. She later married Hal Wright on Dec. 7, 1968. He passed away Jan. 22, 1992.
Surviving are her sons, Phillip (Karen) Reason of Forsyth; Dennis (Sandy) Reason of Grand Canyon Village, Ariz.; grandsons, Stephen Reason of Decatur; Michael Reason of Yucaipa, Calif.; Kent Reason of Grand Canyon Village; granddaughter, Marsha Huffman of Maroa; special niece, Marilyn (Frank) Glenn of Farmer City; six great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; two great-great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
