DECATUR -- Mary Francis Logan, 75, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Decatur, died 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (April 22, 2003) in Largo Medical Center, after a long battle with cancer.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in First Christian Church with the Revs. Wayne Kent and Neil Sallee officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mary was born May 25, 1927, in Forrest, the daughter of Verne J. and Edna Francis Harsh. She was a member of the 1945 graduating class of Decatur High School. Mary worked at the Decatur Club for many years. She was an office secretary for Dr. Bavor from 1962 until moving to Florida in March 1978. She was an innkeeper in Medeira Beach, Fla., until her retirement on Dec. 31, 2002. She married Richard Eli Logan on Aug. 18, 1946, in First Christian Church, Decatur.
Surviving are her husband; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary was a pet lover and especially enjoyed her poodles. She loved all of her family and enjoyed the Logan family reunions in Arkansas.

Mayrose was born Jan. 17, 1918, in Cowden, the daughter of Sylva and Dena Drew Reatherford. She retired from Adolf Meyer in Decatur as a mental health teacher. She married Paul F. White in September 1939 in Newberry, Ind.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Dave White and wife Beverly of Bowling Green, Mo.; Dan White and wife Linda of Decatur; grandsons, Jeff White and wife Tracy of Mattoon; David White and wife Beth of Shelbyville; Jared White and wife Angie of Fishers, Ind.; stepgrandsons, Brad Simpson and wife Kerri and Brian Simpson and wife Lee Ann, all of Decatur; four great-grandchildren; four great-stepgrandchildren; brothers, Darrell Reatherford and wife Wanda of Pismo Beach, Calif.; Merlyn Reatherford and wife Norma of Moweaqua; Carol Reatherford and wife Ann of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Bonnie Daniel and husband Joe of Charlotte, Tenn.; Sylvia Murphy and husband Ron of Lake Whales, Fla.
