Myrtle D. Esping of Wauconda
Memorial services for Myrtle D. Esping (nee Darrell), 90, will be determined at a later date.
Born Dec. 5, 1908, at the family homestead on Darrell Rd. in McHenry, she died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Condell Memorial Hospital in Libertyville. Burial was in Wauconda Cemetery.
A school teacher in Lake and McHenry Counties, she retired after 39 years. She received her bachelor of education degree from Pestalozzi Froebel Teachers College in Chicago. She was the superintendent of the culinary arts division of Lake County Fair for 26 years ending in 1997 and assistant superintendent from 1955 to 1971. Mrs.
Esping was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist Church in Wauconda and Past Worthy Matron of Mayflower Chapter #555 O. E. S.
She is survived by her niece, Marilyn Darrell Conyers; and nephews, Robert D. Matthews, Lyle (Louise) Matthews and George (Betty) Darrell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer in 1985; brother, William Darrell in 1963; and sisters, Mildred in1977, Mabel in 1981 and Marion in 1981.
Arrangements were made by Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, Wauconda.

David R. Faith, 38, of Naperville, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999. Arrangements were made by Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, Wheaton, (630) 668-0016.

Peter Frank Sr., 85, of Lisle, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999. Arrangements were made by Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Lisle, (630) 964-9392.

Thomas J. Garvey, 76, of Lombard, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999. Arrangements were made by Knollcrest Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 932-1500.

Harold G. Huffman of Wonder Lake
The funeral blessing for Harold G. Huffman, 75, will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Justen's Wonder Lake Funeral Home, 7611 W. Hancock Drive, Wonder Lake. The Rev. D. Tranel will officiate.
Born Aug. 12, 1923, in Lake City, Iowa, to George and Elsie (nee Seay) Huffman, he died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Wonder Lake.
Formerly of Chicago, Mr. Huffman had been a summer resident of Wonder Lake since 1960, and became a yearround resident in 1994. He was a carpenter for most of his life and was employed by the Hill Behan Lumber Company. A veteran, Mr. Huffman had served in the Marine Air Corps during World War II and was a member of VFW Post 4600 in McHenry. He was also a volunteer at Northern Illinois Medical Center, as well as a member of the NIMC Auxiliary.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Georgine Huffman (nee Weyrich), whom he married Oct. 1, 1949, in Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Clarence and Cecil.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Jimmy R. Bullard II of Elgin
Services for Jimmy R. Bullard II, 18, will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, at Bethesda Church of God in Christ. The Rev. Mattie Johnson will officiate.
Born Oct. 3, 1980, in Chicago, the son of Jimmy Bullard Sr. and Alma Johnson, he died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999.
Burial will be in River Hills Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Alma Johnson of Elgin; brothers, Shondel (Geneva) Johnson of South Elgin and Joshua Bullard of Tennessee; sisters, Christina Masakilija, Consuela Bullard, Danielle Anderson, Mandy Bullard and Artavia Bullard, all of Elgin; maternal grandmother, Mary Bell of Elgin; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Nellie Bullard Sr. of Opelik, Ala.; great-grandmother, Alma Knight of Chicago; nephews, Brandon of Elgin and Devante of South Elgin; nieces, Alida, Alexis, Rodrea, Brianna and Keyerra, all of Elgin, and Sharee of South Elgin; 11 uncles; six aunts; a host of cousins; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Bullard Sr., on Aug. 26, 1996; brother, Donald R. Stone, on June 12, 1991; and grandfather, Willie Johnson Sr.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Thursday, at the church.
Memorials to the family would be appreciated.

John T. Kelly of Buffalo Grove
Services for John T. Kelly, 71, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 75 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.
Born Sept. 12, 1927, in Teaneck, N. J., he died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at home.
Burial will bein All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Kelly had retired in 1992 from Geldermann, Inc. of Chicago. He was formerly of Abbey of Gethsemani in Trappist, Ky.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Corinne J. Kelly (nee Elster), whom he married Sept. 24, 1966; children, Ty (Stacy) Kelly of Grapevine, Texas, Mark Kelly of Oxford, Miss., and Nancy (fiance, Miles) Kelly of Buffalo Grove; sister, Eileen Kelly; brother, William T. (Peggy) Kelly; sister-in-law, Eleanor Kelly; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Joseph and Marguerite.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Viola L. Kolze of Mount Prospect
Funeral services for Viola L. Kolze (nee Miller), 76, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Faith Lutheran Church, 431 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. She will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
Born July 21, 1922, in Evanston, she died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Survivors include her husband, Chester A. Kolze; brothers, Robert Miller, Walter (Eleanor) Miller, Wilbur (Evelyn) Miller, Albert Miller and the late John (Dorothy) Miller.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.

Wilbert Lichthardt of Elgin
Funeral services for Wilbert Lichthardt, 88, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin, with the Rev. Thomas Niermann officiating.
Born Aug. 13, 1910, in Hanover Park, the son of William and Martha Kruse Lichthardt, he died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at Sherman West Court. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
He was a longtime employee of Elgin National Watch and retiredfrom American Can Company. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin and served as elder, greeter andusher over the years.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Helen, whom he married June 17, 1933; son, Donald (Mary) Lichthardt; grandsons, Jeffrey (Nancy) Lichthardt and Gregory (Donna) Lichthardt; granddaughter, Gail (Scott)Stone; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin (Dottie) Lichthardt; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Harvey Hart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Elgin.

Sophie Mazurek of Mundelein
A memorial Mass for Sophie Mazurek, 83, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Santa Maria del Popolo Church (big church), 116 N. Lake St. (Route 45), Mundelein.
Born Dec. 24, 1915, in Chicago, she died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at the home of her son, Ronald, in Atlanta, Ga.
Mrs. Mazurek had moved to Mundelein in 1955. She worked for Callahan & Co. and retired in 1986, after 22 years of service. Since 1986, she had been an active volunteer at the Mundelein Senior Center, where she participated in many activities, including assisting at the `Big and Little' childcare facility.
She was a member of the Golden Hours Club and was very active at her church, Santa Maria del Popolo, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Carol) Mazurek of Atlanta and Martin (Barbara) Mazurek of Readington, N. J.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Mazurek, who passed away Oct. 29, 1998.
At her request, Mrs. Mazurek's body has been donated to Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. It was her lifelong wish that her remains be used for the advancement of medical science leading to the betterment of future healthcare through the development of new procedures.

June M. Misurelli
June M. Misurelli nee Kreuser, 73, of Harvard, formerly of Glenview, died January 15.
Wife of the late Daniel S. Misurelli; loving mother of Danny, James, and Lisa (Charles) Maduzia; proud grandmother ofAnthony; and dear sister of Barbara (Alex) Misurelli.
Visitation today, 4 to 8 p.m., at the N. H. Scott & Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview (two blocks south of Lake Avenue on the west side). Funeral Wednesday 10 a.m. from the funeral home to St.
Viator Church, 4170 W. Addison, Chicago, for 11 a.m. Mass. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted to be distributed to June Misurelli's favorite charities.

John Joseph O'Brien of Arlington Heights
A Mass of the Resurrection and celebration of the lifeof John Joseph O'Brien, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 432 W. Park St., Arlington Heights. The family will receive friends in the gathering room of the church at 9:30 a.m.
Born Oct. 29, 1929, in Chicago, Mr. O'Brien died at home Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999.
He attended St. Rita High School and St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Ind.
He served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War. He was president of the Financial Planning group, Ltd. in Rosemont.
He was the most beloved husband and the joy of life to Mary `Geri' O'Brien for 47 years. Survivors include his devoted daughters, Kate (Don) Moretti, Karen (Mark) Quebbeman and Kelly (Larry) Noffke; grandchildren, Lauren and Liz Moretti, Patrick and Alexis Quebbeman and Spencer Noffke.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. Sr. and Viola O'Brien; and sister, Diane Boggio.
John will be happily remembered by his relatives and friends for his sense of humor and admired for his integrity and compassion. He was in every sense `A Gentleman.' Please omit flowers.
Masses appreciated or donations to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois or Our Lady of the Wayside Gathering Room Fund.
