Adams
CLINTON -- Dale M. Adams, 89, of Clinton died 9:15 a.m. Friday (April 25, 2003) in his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with visitation 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. Memorials: First Christian Church or St. John's Hospice.
Mr. Adams was born Jan. 2, 1914, in Moweaqua, the son of James Adams and Mabel Moore. He was a member of First Christian Church, DeWitt Masonic Lodge B4 AF & AM, past matron of the Myrtle chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and a World War II veteran. He was employed as a conductor-brakeman for ICG Railroad for 35 years and retired in 1975. Mr. Adams married Louise Bradway on Jan. 4, 1943, in Clinton.
Surviving are his wife and adopted grandsons, Brian and Justin Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
