MATTOON -- M. Elizabeth "Betty" Coleman, 83, Mattoon, formerly of Ashmore, homemaker, died Saturday (April 5, 2003).

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Schilling Funeral Home, Mattoon. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial: Enon Cemetery, Ashmore.

Dunn

CERRO GORDO -- Michael Keith Dunn, 25, of Cerro Gordo died Friday (April 4, 2003) as a result of an automobile accident.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the church with 8 p.m. Masonic rites. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Cerro Gordo, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: children of Michael Dunn.

Michael was born Dec. 19, 1977, in Decatur, the son of Jack K. Dunn and Helen Noll Dunn. He was a member of Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church, Cerro Gordo Masonic Lodge 600 AF & AM and a volunteer of the Cerro Gordo Fire Department. He enjoyed music and was a part of a church trio. He married Trisha Bridge McDonald on Aug. 23, 2002, in Cerro Gordo.

Surviving are his wife; daughters, Makena and Ainsley McDonald, both at home; parents of Decatur; sisters, Melissa Estes of Decatur; Sheryl Lewis of Chester; Debra Dunn of Danville; half sisters and brother, Lindsay Seager and Steven Seager, both of Decatur; Candace Carr of Bloomington; Holly Sancken of Pontiac.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Keith Dunn.

Herrin

LOUISVILLE -- Jennifer Lynn Herrin, 9, Louisville, North Clay Elementary School student, died Saturday (April 5, 2003).

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. No visitation. Burial at a later date. Memorials: St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

OLNEY -- Pauline LaFern Horrall, 88, Olney, Janet Shop manager, died Saturday (April 5, 2003).

Services: 2:30 p.m. Monday, First Presbyterian Church, Olney. Visitation: 1 p.m. until services in the church. Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney. Arrangements by: Buchanan Funeral Home, Newton. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church.

Member: First Presbyterian Church and Ladies Auxiliary of Olney Elks. Survivors: sons, Ronald H. Miller, Temple, Mich.; Kenneth B. Horrall, Olney; Stephen R. Horrall, Roach, Mo.; daughter, Cheryl Billick, Mount Zion; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded by: parents; husband, Robert; one sister and four grandchildren.

ARTHUR -- Mildera "Mickey" Monroe, 76, of Arthur died 12:39 p.m. Sunday (April 6, 2003) in her home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, with Pastor John Stewart officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery. Memorials: Arthur First Baptist Church.

Mildera Monroe was born June 30, 1926, in Arthur, the daughter of Harold and Edith Binegar Monroe. She worked as a nurse's aide for the Arthur Home for more than 20 years. She was a member of Arthur First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her brother, James Monroe of Japan; sister, Betty Verhaalen of Apache Junction, Ariz.

Mr. Jarrett was born July 24, 1945, in Brownsville, Tenn., the son of Roscoe Jarrett Sr. and Willie Lou Jarrett. He attended Richland Community College.

Surviving are his sons, Cortez Jarrett of Chicago; Darnell Jarrett of Springfield; Henry and Marcus Clark, both of Decatur; daughters, Gwendolyn and LaPortia Clark and Natasha Brown, all of Decatur; grandchildren, Christina, Moses and Breana Clark of Decatur; siblings, E. Jean Jarrett of St. Louis, Mo.; Selena Dabner, Eddie C. Jarrett and Arnetta Denman, all of Decatur; brothers-in-law, Leonard Dabner of Decatur; Mack Denman of Peru, Ind.; nieces and nephews, Byron C. Hood of Sacramento, Calif.; Melissa D. (Tyrone) Baker of Bronx, N.Y.; Dawn F. Jarrett of Urbana; Eric L. Dabner and Anthony Jarrett, both of Decatur; Juan M. Jarrett and Quintin C. Jarrett, both of Sacramento; great-nieces, Alexandrea Hood of Seattle, Wash.; Rae-Lynn Dabner of Indianapolis, Ind.; Jamila Jarrett of Urbana; Autumn Jarrett of Decatur; great-nephews, June Hood of Sacramento, Calif.; Samuell Jimerson of Urbana.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Ora Lee Jarrett.
