Oscar R. Huster of Vernon Hills
Visitation for Oscar R. Huster, 93, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park (Route 176), Libertyville, with graveside services following in Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville.
Born Oct. 3, 1905, in St. Louis, Mo., he passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at ManorCare Health Services, Libertyville.
Mr. Huster formerly had been a resident of Oak Park for many years and of Vero Beach, Fla., for 17 years. He had lived in Vernon Hills for the past three years. A retired electrical engineer, he had been an employee of Commonwealth Edison for 46 years. He was also a former member of Parkview Presbyterian Church in Oak Park.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Ethel Huster of Hawthorn Lakes in Vernon Hills; son, Robert (Marilyn) Huster of Libertyville; grandchildren, John (Jill) Huster of Terre Haute, Ind., and Katherine (Richard) Landreman of Short Hills, N. J.; and great-grandchildren, John Craig and Christopher Huster, and Nicole Landreman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Clara Huster; and sister, Helen Tousley.

Howard Jenkins of Crystal Lake
A committal service for Howard Jenkins, 74, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. The Rev. Steven Radunzel will officiate.
Born Jan. 15, 1925, in Wilkes Barre, Pa., the son of John and Laura (nee Mitchell) Jenkins, he died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Fair OaksCare Center in Crystal Lake.
A veteran of the Air Force, he was employed by American Airlines as a flight dispatcher.
Survivors include his children, Ronald J. Jenkins of Las Vegas, Nev., Robin L. (Deborah) Jenkins of Woodstock, Howard J. Jenkins of Las Vegas, Heather R. (Mark) Mortensen Sr. of Lake Villa and Cheryl L. Jenkins of Monticello, Fla.; sister, Arlene (John) Raudenbush of Pinellas Park, Fla.; grandchildren, Mark Jr., Michael, Christopher, Matthew and Kathleen; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edith M. (nee Staples), whom he married on Dec. 7, 1946 and who preceded him on Sept. 18, 1982; and grandson, Jermey Lee Jenkins.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon today, at Schneider-LeuchtMerwin-Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Alex C. Johnson of Arlington Heights
Services for Alex C. Johnson, 74, formerly of Des Plaines and Hoffman Estates, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 208 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg. He will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
Born July 2, 1924, in Chicago, he died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst.
Retired from the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) after 40 years, he was life member of the 70th Division Association and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Helen F. Redker; son, Eric E. (Deborah L.) Johnson of Des Plaines; and grandchildren, Rachel R., Nathan W. and Hannah N. Johnson.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights.

Patrick E. Kinsella of Palatine since 1955
Funeral Mass for Patrick E. Kinsella, 50, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Theresa Church, 465 N. Benton St., Palatine. Prayers will be said from 9:30 a.m. untilthe time of Mass, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Monsignor Kenneth Velo will officiate.
Born June 9, 1948, in Glasgow, Scotland, he died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Kinsella was the former owner of Scotty's Decorating in Palatine, and a member of W. A. C. O., the Woodfield Area Charities Organization.
Survivors include his parents, James `Scotty' and Mary T. Kinsella of Palatine; sisters, Maureen Kinsella of Saratoga Springs, N. Y. and Irene (John) Bynum of Olathe, Kan.; brother, John J. (Louise) Kinsella of Bartlett; and nieces and nephews, James, Amanda, Sean, Robert, Ryan, Brendan, Paige, Drake and Hailey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Dorothy E. Kouch
Private interment will be held for Dorothy E. Kouch (nee Koenig), 88, of Glenview, formerly of Chicago, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999.
She was born Jan. 15, 1911, in Hobart, Ind.
She was the beloved mother of Edith Graikowski and BaryAnn Koenig; cherished grandmother of Steve Graikowski (Karen), Brian Graikowski, Daniel Orloski, Michael Graikowski (Chris), Victor Orloski (Telia) and Robin Lewis (Tom); great-grandmotherof Shannon, Samantha, Jamie and Brieann; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her sister, Ellyn Travi (nee Koenig); sister-in-law, Dorothy Koenig (nee Glickser); and loving friend of the family, Barbara Lyon.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Arnold and Edith Koenig; brothers, Robert (Marie) and Arnold Koenig; and great-grandchild, baby Alaina.
A 15-year employee of General Mills and retiree of Honeywell, Inc., she worked as a secretary and served as an officer of their credit union and was a charter member of the Honeybelles.
She was a 30-year member of her beloved church, Gladstone Park Lutheran, aka United in Faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to her favorite charity may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 901 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
Dorothy will always be remembered by all who knew her as a kind, caring, gentle soul. Today we say goodbye to this very special lady and carry her in our hearts always.

Judith M. Kralik of Plainfield for 28 years
Funeral services for Judith M. Kralik (nee Kopta), 56, formerly of Bolingbrook, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 309 Joliet Road, Plainfield. The Rev. Dr. Michael Nolen will officiate.
Born Sept. 16, 1942, in Chicago, she died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Kralik was born and raised on Chicago's west side. She graduated from Farragut High School in Chicago, attended Illinois College in Jacksonville, and completed her undergraduate degree at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
She then earned a dual master's degree from Roosevelt University in administration and education. Mrs. Kralik taught in Woodridge School District #68 for 26 years before retiring in 1994. She enjoyed gardening, reading books, solving puzzles and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Kenneth F. Kralik of Plainfield, whom she married Sept. 8, 1962; daughter, Linda (Roy) Linenberger of Paw Paw, Ill.; sons, Kenneth Kralik Jr. and Edward Kralik, both of Plainfield; mother, Lois Kopta of Berwyn; sisters, Marianne (Jerry) Hovorka of Naples, Fla., Lucy (Roger) Krieg of Naperville and Alicia Kopta of Berwyn; brother, Harold (Darlene) Kopta of Westchester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Kopta.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mary Celeste LaManna of Libertyville
A funeral Mass for Mary Celeste LaManna (nee DeMichael), 91, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born July 10, 1907, in Chicago, to Gaetana and Donato DeMichael, she died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Winchester House in Libertyville. Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
The oldest of eight children, Mrs. LaManna had worked for the Milwaukee Road Rail System for 18 years to help support her family. She later left her job as a comptometer operator to marry and raise a family. She had been a resident of Libertyville and a member of St. Joseph Parish for the past 20 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn (Dr. Robert) Sewall and Karen LaManna, both of Libertyville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph LaManna; grandson, Robert Joseph Sewall; brothers, Michael (Mary), Robert (Jane), Louis (Virginia), and Freddie DeMichael; and sisters, Lorraine (James) Cunnally, and Santina and Edith DeMichael.
Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. today, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.

Concetta M. Lenoci
A funeral Mass for Concetta M. Lenoci (nee Malfitano), 90, of Alsip, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, at St. Terrence Church.
She died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Ridgeland Nursing Home.
Mrs. Lenocihad been employed in retail.
She was the beloved wife of the late Sabino Lenoci; loving mother of Joseph (Naomi) Lenoci and Lucy Thaddeus; cherished grandmother of seven; and great-grandmother of eight. She was also the dear sister of Albert (Jean) Malfitano, Emily (the late Andy) Harbacek, Frances (the late Mike) Sannito, and the late Joseph (the late Ceil), Emil (Kay), Enrico (Helen), and Eugene Malfitano, and Ellen (the late George) Schaffer.

Robert `Bob' Locke formerly of Wheaton
Robert `Bob' Locke departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998, at his home in Reeds Spring, Mo.
Born Nov. 21, 1944, in Oelwein, Iowa, Bob was a longtime resident of Wheaton and surrounding communities prior to moving to Missouri.
Everyone who knew Bob, whether family, friend or acquaintance, will be saddened, and those who did not have the pleasure have been deprived.
He was the loving father of Heather (Steve) Chmielewski; cherished grandfather of Melissa and Elizabeth; beloved son of Rose and the late Norbert `Ned' Locke; fond brother of Norbert (Bonnie) Locke; dear uncle of Tony (Sue), Terri, Joe and Tammy; wonderful friend to many; and forever love of Patti.
`Memories are the place where our loved ones live forever.'

Harry F. Meissner of Palatine
Services for Harry F. Meissner, 72, formerly of Melrose Park, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born Dec. 16, 1926, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
A veteran, Mr. Meissner had served in the Navy Air Corps during World War II and was a member of the Park Ridge VFW #3579.
Surviving are his wife, Loretta Meissner (nee Rosinski) of Palatine; daughter, Patricia S. (Thomas) Blazejak of Lombard; grandchildren, Brian K. (Lora) O'Keeffe, Shawn W. O'Keeffe, Melisa A. Meissner and Mitchel H. Meissner; and brother, Walter (Joanne) Meissner.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard H. Meissner; and mother, Anna Bruckner.
