Kenneth George Gebhardt
Kenneth George Gebhardt, 84, passed away on January 23, 1998, at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington.
He was born in Chicago July 5, 1913.
Mr. Gebhardt is survived by his wife, Eunice Gebhardt; his daughter, Janice (John) Kefauver; his sons, Kenneth Pritz Gebhardt and Gerald Jan Gebhardt; and his two grandsons, Matthew Gebhardt and Cory Kefauver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Fred Gebhardt; and his brother, Russell Gebhardt.
The funeral services were private.

Jeanae Gonzales
Prayers for Jeanae Gonzales, 14, of Streamwood, will be said at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg, going to St. John the Evangelist Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m.
Born May 1, 1983, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
A freshman at Streamwood High School, he was the daughter of Patricia Gonzales (nee Wilton) of Streamwood and Joe Gonzales of Chicago; sister of Tiffany; and granddaughter of Harry and Katy Wilton, the late Margarite Wilton, and Paulita and Jose Gonzales. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.

Oliver G. Hardin
Services for Oliver G. Hardin, 66, of Park Ridge, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Maryville Academy Chapel, Des Plaines.
Born Aug. 3, 1931, in Grand Island, Neb., he died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at St.Francis Hospital, Evanston. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A self-employed paving contractor, he was the husband of the late Joan; father of Michael (Nancy), George (Martha), Jack (Diana), Thomas (Jeri), Suzanne (Jacob), Joanne (Eric) and Mary (Anthony); and grandfather of 15.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge.

Margene Ottoson Hartwig
Services for Margene Ottoson Hartwig, 68, a lifelong resident of Barrington, will be said at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, continuing to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Ave., Barrington for services at 11 a.m.
Born July 13, 1929, in Elgin, she died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, in Barrington. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
She enjoyed growing flowers in her garden.She was a member of St.Matthew Lutheran Church and was very devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of Marshall `Buck', whom she married on June 3, 1950; mother of Marsha (Clifford) Storzbach of Barrington, Kathleen (Howard) Stephens of Berlin, Ill., Steven (Ginny) Hartwig of Barrington, Gregory (Kathy) Hartwig of Crystal Lake and Lorrie (Patrick) Richardson of Woodstock; grandmother of Courtney, Amanda and Kyle Storzbach, Tracy Wofford, Nicke Stephens, Ashley Hartwig, Keri and Jaime Hartwig and Brianna, Nicholas and Garrett Richardson; great-grandmother of Pierson Wofford; dear daughter of the late Delbert and Myrtle Ottoson-Webster; stepdaughter of the late Elmer Webster; and sister of Nancie (Don) Selzer of Elgin.
She was also survived by a brotherin-law, several sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Chester Hernacki
A funeral Mass for Chester Hernacki, 83, of Grayslake, formerly of the Gages Lake area, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple, Libertyville.
Born May 20, 1914, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.
Entombment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
He was a self-employed tailor affiliated with Quaker Cleaners of Chicago and was a member of the Avon Social Club.
He is survived by his wife, Elna (nee Salo); his daughters, Joyce (Paul) DeSchryver of Libertyville and Sandra (Patrick) Langbein of McHenry; his grandchildren, Steven DeSchryver and Ellen Langbein and Patrick Langbein III; and his sister, Celia.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter and Edward; and his sisters, Severa and Dora.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.

Timothy Quinlan Sheldon II
Services for Timothy Quinlan Sheldon II, 23, of Wayne, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at The Little Home Church by the Wayside, 32W128 Army Trail Road, Wayne.
Born Oct. 15, 1974, in Chicago, he died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Interment will be private.
Tim lived in Wayne until the age of 3 when he moved to Chicago. He attended Francis Parker for nine years where he developed a love of ice hockey and playing the guitar.
Upon moving to the North Shore, he attended Loyola Academy for one year, and in 1992 he graduated from New Trier High School. He attended Oakton Community College and Lake Forest College before heading East to Boston College. He was looking forward to going to Colorado and finishing school.
Survivors include his mother, Cynthia Schroeder Sheldon of Wayne; father, Judge Timothy (Kathleen) Sheldon of Plato Center, Ill.; maternal grandmother, Jane Schroeder of Wayne; paternal grandparents, Donald and Marvis Sheldon of Lake Geneva, Wis.; brothers, Daniel and Jack; sister, Kristina; uncles, Donald, Don and Pat and their children, Dana, Katie, Hillary, Alex and Kayla; aunt, Suzy Chapman and her daughter, Elise; stepfather, Douglas P. Maloney; and stepsister, Lauri Maloney.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.
In lieu of flowers, the family believes Tim would have liked to help ensure the success of the Walworth County Jr. Hockey Program, a program which was started by his uncles and in which he played, and requests that donations be made to the Tim Sheldon Memorial Fund for the Walworth County Amateur Hockey Association, c/o First Star Bank, 303 Center St., Lake Geneva, WI 53147. Mrs. Isaacson was a member of Medinah Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Laura (Carl) Wetherbee and Debra (Joel) Locklear; mother, Ethel Wendt; brother, Joseph (Pearl) Wendt; sister, Ethel (Fred) Adams; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Isaacson; father, Joseph Wendt; and sister, Marian Wendt.

Istok; mother of Michael (Leah) Istok of Norman, Okla., Cynthia (Thomas) Henkel of Paraskala, Ohio, Margaret of Schaumburg, Mary Ellen Sheil; of Bartlett and the late Linda Sue; grandmother of Mark and Erika Henkel and Toine Sheil; and sister of William (Lorraine) Litgen, Lucille (Ed) Kraft and the late Charles (Dorothy) and Margaret (Ferd) Meunier.

Stanton B. Iverson
Services for Stanton B. Iverson, 84, of Des Plaines, will be held at 11 a.m.Friday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born Aug.23, 1913, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at home.Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr.Iverson and his brothers operated Iverson Wrecking for 35 years in Des Plaines until he retired in 1973 and was an Army Air Corp World War II veteran.
He was the husband of Jennie (nee Bakker); father of Pete (Mag) Iverson of Wisconsin and the late Cindy Lou Steinback; and grandfather of Joshua Steinback.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
