Patrick E. Kinsella of Palatine since 1955
Prayers for Patrick E. Kinsella, 50, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 465 N. Benton St., Palatine. Monsignor Kenneth Velo will officiate.
Born June 9, 1948, in Glasgow, Scotland, he died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in St. Michael the ArchangelCemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Kinsella was the former owner of Scotty's Decorating in Palatine, and a member of W. A. C. O. - the Woodfield Area Charities Organization.
Survivors include his parents, James `Scotty' and Mary T. Kinsella of Palatine; sisters, Maureen Kinsella of Saratoga Springs, N. Y. and Irene (John) Bynum of Olathe, Kan.; brother, John J. (Louise) Kinsella of Bartlett; and nieces and nephews, James, Amanda, Sean, Robert, Ryan, Brendan, Paige, Drake and Hailey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Norman G. Koenig of Mount Prospect
Services for Norman G. Koenig, 81, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mount Prospect.
Born March 21, 1918, in Montana, he died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
Mr. Koenig was a 35-year resident of Mount Prospect and a retired book publisher.
He was the husband of the late Joyann Koenig; father of Richard Norman (Pamela Lee) Koenig and Debbie Grenier-Bogdajewicz; grandfather of Holly Joy and Brittany Victoria; and brother of Erwin (Dorothy) and Fred (Betty) Koenig.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Dorothy E. Kouch
Private interment will be held for Dorothy E. Kouch (nee Koenig), 88, of Glenview, formerly of Chicago, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999.
She was born Jan. 15, 1911, in Hobart, Ind.
She was the beloved mother of Edith Graikowski and BaryAnn Koenig; cherished grandmother of Steve Graikowski (Karen), Brian Graikowski, Daniel Orloski, Michael Graikowski (Chris), Victor Orloski (Telia) and Robin Lewis (Tom); great-grandmotherof Shannon, Samantha, Jamie and Brieann; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her sister, Ellyn Travi (nee Koenig); sister-in-law, Dorothy Koenig (nee Glickser); and loving friend of the family, Barbara Lyon.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Arnold and Edith Koenig; brothers, Robert (Marie) and Arnold Koenig; and great-grandchild, baby Alaina.
A 15-year employee of General Mills and retiree of Honeywell, Inc., she worked as a secretary and served as an officer of their credit union and was a charter member of the Honeybelles.
She was a 30-year member of her beloved church, Gladstone Park Lutheran, aka United in Faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to her favorite charity may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 901 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
Dorothy will always be remembered by all who knew her as a kind, caring, gentle soul. Today we say goodbye to this very special lady and carry her in our hearts always.

Robert `Bob' Locke formerly of Wheaton
Robert `Bob' Locke departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998, at his home in Reeds Spring, Mo.
Born Nov. 21, 1944, in Oelwein, Iowa, Bob was a longtime resident of Wheaton and surrounding communities prior to moving to Missouri.
Everyone who knew Bob, whether family, friend or acquaintance, will be saddened, and those who did not have the pleasure have been deprived.
He wasthe loving father of Heather (Steve) Chmielewski; cherished grandfather of Melissa and Elizabeth; beloved son of Rose and the late Norbert `Ned' Locke; fond brother of Norbert (Bonnie) Locke; dear uncle of Tony (Sue), Terri, Joe and Tammy; wonderful friend to many; and forever love of Patti.
`Memories are the place where our loved ones live forever.'

Jean M. Mathy of Elk Grove Village
Prayers for Jean M. Mathy (nee Bieniek), 77, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at Queen of the Rosary Church.
Born in Chicago, she died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at home. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
A homemaker and 42-year resident of Elk Grove Village, she was the wife of the late John M. (1985); daughter of the late Stanley and Sophia (nee Wojtowicz) Bieniek; sister of Richard D. (Karen) Bieniek, Bernice Haisch and the late Walter J. Bieniek; and dear aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.
Memorials to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, would be appreciated.

Harry F. Meissner of Palatine
Services for Harry F. Meissner, 72, formerly of Melrose Park, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born Dec. 16, 1926, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
A veteran, Mr. Meissner had served in the Navy Air Corps during World War II and was a member of the Park Ridge VFW #3579.
Surviving are his wife, Loretta Meissner (nee Rosinski) of Palatine; daughter, Patricia S. (Thomas) Blazejak of Lombard; grandchildren, Brian K. (Lora) O'Keeffe, Shawn W. O'Keeffe, Melisa A. Meissner and Mitchel H.
Meissner; and brother, Walter (Joanne) Meissner.
He was preceded in deathby his son, Richard H. Meissner; and mother, Anna Bruckner.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Betty Aston Niemeier formerly of Elgin
Memorial services for Betty Aston Niemeier, 79, of Fort Myers, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, corner of Center St. and Highland Ave., Elgin.
Father Randall Haycock will officiate.
Born Dec. 19, 1919, in Elgin, the daughter of Alden and Ethel (nee Farnham) Aston, she died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers. Burial will be private.
A homemaker, she attended and graduated from Elgin Academy. She also attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Wayne L. Niemeier; son, Todd (Lucille) Niemeier of Elgin; daughter, Joan (Thomas) Morrison of Wheaton; and grandchildren, Leslie, Ross and Brooke Morrison, and Elizabeth and Mark Niemeier.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in Betty's name to The Elgin Junior Service Board, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley, West Dundee, Ill. or the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.

Eva A. Palmer of Round Lake Beach
Funeral services for Eva A. Palmer, 86, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25519 W. Highway 134, Long Lake, Ill. Rev. Paul Weeg, pastor, will officiate.
Born Nov. 5, 1912, in Chicago, she passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Winchester House in Libertyville. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave., Des Plaines.
She had made her home in Ingleside and Round Lake Beach most of her life. She was a longtime employee of the Voters Registration Office of Lake County at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan. She was a charter member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Long Lake and numerous church affiliated organizations to include past president of Ladies Aide, past Sunday School teacher, former choir member, past secretary of the church and Priscilla Circle of the church. She was a member of the Sorosis Chapter #329 O. E. S. in Grayslake and was a past Worthy Matron in 1943. She was past president of the Women's Club of Long Lake and Grant Township G. O. P. Women's Organization, and member of Long Lake Garden Club, Republican Presidential Task Force, Illinois Federation of Women's Club, Lake County Home Extension and Round Lake Area Seniors. She was a longtime affiliate with Altman's Flower and Gift Box in Round Lake Beach.
She was the loving godmother of Jodi Altman Cagle and Becky; and the `adopted' aunt of Chuck and Judie Altman, and Jason and Jerry Altman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reginald Palmer in 1951, and mother, Esther Palmer in 1964.
Friends of the family may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the church, with Eastern Star Rites performed at 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time services Tuesday, also at the church.

Vera Hughes Fehrman Perry of Harvard
Family and friends of Vera Hughes Fehrman Perry (`Grandma Prairie'), 100, will meet Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at McHenry County Memorial Park Chapel, Woodstock, for an 11 a.m. memorial service. Reader Jane Setzler will officiate.
Born May 24, 1898, in Woodstock, the daughter of Earl C. and Mary (nee Wiedrick), Hughes, she died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Harvard Hometown Care Center. Graveside services will be held in McHenry County Memorial Park.
Mrs. Perry was a lifelong member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Woodstock. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Seneca Grange and McHenry County Teachers Retirement Association. She taught school for 42 years in the county and was awarded `Outstanding Retired Teacher of the Year' in 1988. She was a native historian with articles published in the Northwest Herald in 1988 titled `Echoes Across the Prairie.' On June 25, 1924, she married Walter G. H. Fehrman. They made their home on the family farm on Hughes Road in Hartland Township. She married Stanley Perry from Evansville, Wis., in 1962.
She is survived by daughters, Vergene Fehrman (James) Wilson of Woodstock, Mary Fehrman (George) Kiefer and Irene Fehrman Kayser of Green Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren, Steven Henry of Albuquerque, N. M., Dena Czarnecki of Woodstock, Douglas (Michelle) Kiefer of Harvard and Lisa (Keith) Teuber of Sharon, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Scott and Jennifer Henry of Alburquerque, N. M., Jennifer and Walter Czarnecki of Woodstock, Nicholas (Sheila) Roberts of Belvidere, Gretchen Roberts of Harvard, April and Kyle Rivera of Sharon, Wis. and Ryan Schiller, also of Sharon, Wis.; and great-great-grandchild, Brandon Roberts of Belvidere.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; sister, Mary (Irving) Eppel; brother, Earl M. Hughes; and granddaughter, Pamela Henry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Harvard Hometown Care Center or the First Church of Christ Scientist, Woodstock.

Eugene I. Peterson of Round Lake
Services for Eugene I. Peterson, 67, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake. Elizabeth Tsang, chaplain at Provena St. Therese Medical Center, will officiate.
Born Oct. 5, 1931, in Chicago, he passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Avon Centre Cemetery, Grayslake, following the services.
Mr. Peterson had made his home in Round Lake for the past 49 years. A veteran, he had served during the Korean War. He had retired in 1992 from CHF Industries in Grayslake, where he was employed in custom cabinetry.
He leaves his brother, Vergne Peterson of Florida; and dear friends, Robert (Christina) Novak and family of Neosho, Mo., Kim (Edward) Clingerman of Round Lake Beach, Jim Walsh of Mundelein, Ted Lechowicz of Chicago, Rich (Crystal) Reid and family of Grayslake, Carlo (Santina) Moreci and family of Round Lake, Pam Hensmann and family of McHenry, Bill (Sharon) Williams of Oklahoma, Bill F. Williams Jr. and family of Seneca, Mo., Jason Williams and family of Neosho, and Ann Millerand family of Lake Villa.
Friends of the family may visit from 3 to 6 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.
