Dorothy R. Leming

COULTERVILLE -- Dorothy R. Leming, 89, of Coulterville, died at 7:02 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, in Sparta Community Hospital. Dorothy was born on Nov. 23, 1915, in Coulterville, the daughter of Dave and Mayme (Birchler) Montgomery. She was a member of Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church in Coulterville for 77 years. Joining the church at age 12, she, her sister, Viola, and brothers, D. J. and Lester, rode ponies to Coulterville from the family farm 10 miles southeast of Coulterville. She married Roy Leming on May 10, 1938, and he preceded her in death on June 23, 1985. Dorothy was a charter member of the Swanwick Sewing Club and the Shamrock Quilting Club, serving as an officer for both clubs for many years. She enjoyed sharing her quilts with her family and the Swanwick Bethel Cemetery Association for their annual Swanwick Picnic. Dorothy enjoyed playing pinochle and solitaire. Survivors include her son, Eugene Leming and special friend Judy Howard, both of Coulterville; two daughters, Karen Huth of Ava and Rogene Boyd and husband, Robert of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a granddaughter, Denise Redmore of Springfield; a grandson, Chris Huth of Carbondale; a brother, James Montgomery of Arnold, Mo.; and two sisters, Cleo Jones of Collinsville and Opal Wilson of Coulterville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers for Mrs. Leming's services will be Roger Thomas, Willard McBride, James McBride, Larry McBride, Rick Leming and Chris Huth. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy (June 23, 1985), a son-in-law, David Huth (May 10, 1995), three brothers, D. J., Lester and Rodney Montgomery, six sisters, Lena Leming, Viola Leming, Verna McBride, Imogene Woodside, Alice Woodside and Beth Bumann. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church in Coulterville, with the Rev. Jim Stark officiating. Interment will be in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today in Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Coulterville and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Memorials may be made to Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church or the Swanwick Bethel Cemetery Association.

METROPOLIS -- Pete Mizell, 93, of Metropolis, died at 5:05 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in Massac Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Seven Mile Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Chris Sielbeck officiating.

MARION -- Leslie Cullum, 22, of Marion, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, on Moake School Road in Marion. Arrangements are incomplete at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.

JOHNSTON CITY -- Ella Cagle, 81, of Johnston City, died at 12:25 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City, with the Rev. Larry Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Travis Gene Neibel

WEST FRANKFORT -- Travis Gene Neibel, 26, of West Frankfort, died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Travis was born on July 7, 1978, in Downers Grove, to Gene and Middy (Riddle) Neibel. He married Tina Schram. He worked with his father as a roofer. He was the lead singer in the band Diamond and Stones. Travis was an avid musician and loved playing with the band, spending time with his children and his family and playing his guitar. Survivors include his wife, Tina Neibel of West Frankfort; mother and stepfather, Middy and Bill Hebbeler of Zeigler; father and stepmother, Gene and Joyce Neibel of Benton; children, Dalton Gass, Austin Neibel, Blayk and Kassi Neibel and Hunter Frick; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Tina and Mike Felty and Michelle Riddle; two stepbrothers and stepsisters-in-law, Brian and Tillie Hebbeler and Robbie and Leslie Hebbeler; five stepsisters, Sheri and Chris Willis, Linda Rice, Ann Skurat, Donna Gleghorn and Leslie Neibel; grandparents, Alice Marshal and Mildred Riddle; mother-in-law, Barbara Dauer; father-in-law, Pete Schram; several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, fans and his German shepherd Aries. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Riddle and Harry and Lucille Neibel and a niece, Siera Spain. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Union Funeral Home, with the Rev. Denny Steed officiating. Burial will be in East Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Ruth Ellen (Terry) Richey

MARION -- Ruth Ellen (Terry) Richey, 86, of Marion, passed away at 12:23 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at home in Marion. Mrs. Richey was born on June 27, 1918, in Johnson County, to Guy H. and Bertha (Ollis) Terry. She married Fred A. Richey on Dec. 4, 1938, in Allenville, Mo. He preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1997. She was retired from P. N. Hirsch Co. and was a homemaker. Ruth was a member of Heartland Christian Church. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Davis of St. Cloud, Fla., and Kay and Jerry Bell of Benton; four grandchildren, Jerry Joe Bell and Lisa Suzanne Bell, both of Benton, Todd Litton of Marion and Leslie Feurer of St. Louis; five great-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, Andrew Neil Bell, Caitlin Elizabeth Bell, Courtney Elise Bell and Joshua Bell, all of Benton, and Dillon Feurer of St. Louis; and four sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred Richey, two brothers, one sister, one son-in-law and one son. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randy Allison officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Eulala Inez Russell

MARION -- Eulala Inez Russell, 95, of Marion, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2004, in Fountains Care Center of Marion. She was born in Williamson County, near Marion, on Dec. 26, 1909, the daughter of Roy and Sally (Jackson) Poteete. Eulala was united in marriage to Barney Russell on June 21, 1928, in Marion. Together they shared more than 59 years of marriage until his death came on Sept. 23, 1987. Her working career had been as a clerk for Feurer Brothers Grocery Store of Marion, and as an accountant for White Top Cab Company of Marion. Though she did work some outside the home she dedicated her life to seeing to the needs of her husband and raising their children and grandchildren. She also found enjoyment in crocheting and playing Hearts and Pinochle with family and friends. She was a sports enthusiast, especially baseball, and was an avid Cub fan. She was also known for her ability to prepare wonderful meals and her home was the gathering place for the holiday and family functions. She always found time to be involved with the activities of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her church membership was with Marion Second Baptist Church for many years. In her passing she leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald D. and Fran Russell of Paducah; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Leroy Sager of Marion, and Lee Ann and Herb Ashley of Leewood, Kan.; four grandchildren, Tom McDowell, Lisa Weaver, Randy Russell and his wife, Michelle, and Traci Rodulfo and her husband, Greg; two step-grandchildren, Drew Ashley and Crystal Hoopes and her husband, David; nine great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Lesley and Emiley Weaver, Kelsey, Ryan and Ellie Russell and Jessica, Danielle and Rachel Rodulfo; two step- great-grandchildren, James and Mary Lynn Hoopes; sister-in-law, Rhea Corso of Herrin, several nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; grandson, Ronald Lee 'Fuzz' McDowell; two sisters, Faye Summers and Lefa Walker; half sister, Verbal Wohlwend and three brothers, Ray, Kay and Leo Poteete. Arrangements for Eulala Inez Russell have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court St., Marion, IL. The time of the visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at the funeral home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, in Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home of Marion, with Dr. Bob Wagner presiding. Interment will follow next to her husband, Barney, in Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Mary Louise Browning

WEST FRANKFORT -- Mary Louise Browning, 82, of West Frankfort, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, in Herrin Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2004, in Denning Cemetery in West Frankfort. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Union Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Browning was a homemaker. She was born on July 22, 1922, to Reuben and Myrtle (Wallace) Oglesby. Survivors include her husband, F. G. Browning of West Frankfort; one son, Fred Browning of St. James, Mo.; and one brother, Donald Oglesby of Ajo, Ariz.

Harry E. Anderson

GRAND TOWER -- Harry E. Anderson, 82, of Grand Tower, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, in South East Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 1, 2005, at First Baptist Church, Grand Tower, with the Revs. Don Grammer and Carl Dillow officiating. Interment will be held in Walker Hill Cemetery, Grand Tower. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at the church. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Grand Tower building fund or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905, and will be accepted by the funeral home. Harry was born on Feb. 3, 1922, in Grand Tower, to Hiram Wesley and Abigail (Neace) Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Anderson of Grand Tower; one son, Edward Lee Anderson of Grand Tower; two daughters, Sharon Campbell of Jackson, Mo., and Mabel Mason of Anna; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Michael Walker of Steeleville and George Huffman of Grand Tower; two stepdaughters, Mary Walker and Regina Huffman, both of Grand Tower; eight step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Effie Dell (Bunny) Bell of Ferguson, Mo. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mildred Anderson, and 10 siblings. Mr. Anderson was a member of First Baptist Church in Grand Tower. He married Mildred Pirtle on Nov. 29, 1941. She passed away on Feb. 19, 2003. He then married Minnie Huffman on Dec. 7, 2003, and she survives. Harry retired from the CIPS Power Plant in Grand Tower as the storeroom manager. Meredith Funeral Chapel, Grand Tower is in charge of arrangements.

Gary A. Brown

MURPHYSBORO -- Loving father and husband Gary A. Brown, 55, of Murphysboro, went home to the Lord at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, with Pastor Charles Allen of the Elm Street Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Murdale Gardens of Memory in Murphysboro. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home. Gary was born on July 30, 1949, in Carbondale, to William A. and Norma Jean (Bradley) Brown. He married Robin Lynn Malloy on Oct. 1, 1988, in Johnson County. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. 'Bill' Brown, on Dec. 5, 2003, and his mother, Norma Jean Brown, on Nov. 2, 1993. One nephew also preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Robin Brown of Murphysboro; five sons Brian, Eric, Corey, Shane and Austin Brown, all of Murphysboro; one grandson, Michael Brown of Murphysboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Regina Brown of Herrin, formerly of Murphysboro; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Marvin Jones of Carbondale; two nephews, Chris and Sean Jones of Carbondale. Gary was a painting contractor and former owner of the Fishnet in Carbondale and the Jeanery in Murphysboro. He was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro and served in the U. S. Army and National Guard. Our beloved Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Berl B. Hickam

ELKVILLE -- Berl B. Hickam, 88, of Elkville, passed away at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in his residence. Berl had worked as a parts distributor at Turco Manufactur-ing. He was a member of Nazarene Church of Du Quoin. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was born on March 7, 1916, in Waltonville, the son of Joseph W. and Carrie Ethel (Cripps) Hickam. He married Fernie Lane on Nov. 29, 1942, in Laverne, Okla., and she survives. He is survived by his wife of Elkville; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Mary Jane Hickam of Walnut Hill; two daughters and one son-in-law, Shirley May Baldridge of Du Quoin and Mary Jane and Jay Brooks of Carbondale; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Merle; and two sisters, Irene and Aleene. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin, with the Rev. Jerry Whittington officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Searby Funeral Home. Interment will be in Elkville Cemetery. Friends may make memorials to the Nazarene Church of Du Quoin. Edwin Thomas Condon

HARRISBURG -- Edwin Thomas Condon, 73, was found dead Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at home. There will be no visitation at Reed Funeral Chapel. The body has been cremated. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date. Mr. Condon was a retired veterans services officer for Illinois Veterans Department for 12 years and prior to that he worked for the Illinois Department of Employment Services for 17 years. He served in the U. S. Army in Korea. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Amvets in Freeport. He was born on June 29, 1931, in Rock Island, to Dr. Edwin Francis Condon and Mary Ursela Showalter. Survivors include his daughter, Catherine Clark of Fort Thomas, Ky.; and son, Edwin F. Condon, MT, of Pottsville, Pa.; the children's mother, Hazel Condon of Murphysboro; four grandchildren, Michael Andrew Clark, Ryan Keith Clark, Edwin Thomas Condon and Madeline Elizabeth Condon. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family in care of Hazel Condon, P. O. Box 1654, Murphysboro, IL 62966.

Jane E. Moake

JOHNSTON CITY -- Jane E. Moake, 86, of Johnston City, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Herrin Hospital. Services will be held at 11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City, with Dr. Roger K. Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Washington Avenue Baptist Church, the Alzheimer's Association, or to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be accepted at the funeral home. Jane was born on April 19, 1918, in West Frankfort, the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Odle) Engram. She married William A. Moake on June 21, 1941, in Berwyn. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1998. Jane was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Johnston City, Williamson County Home Bureau Friendship Extension Unit and a charter member of the Happy Kampers. She graduated from Johnston City High School in 1936. During her early years of marriage, she worked at a dime store in Sioux Falls, S. D., while Bill was serving in the Army-Air Force. Their daughter, Janice, was born in Sioux Falls, and after returning to Johnston City, their son, William Steven Moake was born in Herrin. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Nix and husband Henry of Carbondale; a son, Steven Moake and wife Melanie of Cave-in-Rock; a grandson, Brad Walker; two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Walker, and Hunter Brown; two brothers, Tom Engram and wife Betty of Carbondale, and Gilbert Engram and wife Betty of Johnston City; two sisters, Betty Lee of Carbondale, and Barbara Maroscher and husband Gus of Marion; a sister-in-law, Janet Engram of Johnston City; a brother-in-law, Charles Moake and wife Georgia of Freeburg; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eugene Engram; and a father-in-law, Charles Moake and his wife Judith Ellen (Grant) Moake.

Paul Blades

WEST FRANKFORT -- Paul Blades, 76, of West Frankfort, went to be with the Lord at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in the Free Will Baptist Church that he attended for 70 years. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, in Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in West Frankfort, with the Rev. Kenneth McClerren officiating, assisted by Brother Gene Blades. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Paul was born on Jan. 2, 1928, in Marion, the son of Louis and Evelyn (Lappin) Blades. He married LaDonna Coulson on Oct. 14, 1951, in West Frankfort, and she survives. Paul was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as deacon for 51 years. He was also an adult Sunday school teacher. He was a retired truck driver. He is survived by four children and their spouses, Sandi and Robert Scheffer of St. Louis, Fred and Regina Blades of West Frankfort, Randy and Cheryl Blades of West Frankfort, and Elaine Crain of Johnston City; his grandchildren, Christie and Kyle Kohlhaas, Randa Blades, Ashley and Aaron Eurell, Brandon, Lindsay and Jeremy Blades, Robbie and Dustin Scheffer, Amanda Blades, and Natasha, Hannah and Emmy Crain; his great-grandchildren, Benjamin Kohlhaas, Sophie Burgess, Morgan Kohlhaas, Kaysha Chaney, Tori Eurell, Devlin Burgess, Gideon Kohlhaas, Bailey Blades, and Ryan Eurell; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Sue Blades of Thompsonville, Leroy and Janice Blades of Marion, and Everett and Betty Blades of Johnston City; and two sisters, Betty King of Johnston City and Helen Summers of West Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Paul Blades; one grandson, Brad Scheffer; and one brother, Robert Blades.

Evelyn Marie (Sneed) Newcomb

EWING -- Evelyn Marie (Sneed) Newcomb, 68, of Ewing, died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at home after a long illness. Evelyn was born on May 16, 1936, in Chicago Heights, the daughter of Gale and Hazel (Parrish) Sneed. She and Ronald Newcomb married Oct. 28, 1955, and he survives. She is also survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Lynn Newcomb of West Frankfort, Brian and Jo Ellen Newcomb of Marion, and Stephen and Amy Newcomb of Whittington; one daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Mark Yung of Sesser; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Bob Payne of Benton, Carolyn and Ron Lynch of Ewing, and Judy and Tom Smith of Benton; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Milford Lee; one daughter, Donna Picklesimer; and one grandchildren, Dakota Newcomb. Evelyn was a lifelong member of Whittington Baptist Church and was church pianist for almost 50 years. She was an avid musician and a member of the church Praise Team. After raising a family, she attended Rend Lake College nursing school and was a nurse for 15 years. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in Whittington Church, with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Whittington. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday to Whittington Church. Memorials in Evelyn's memory may be made to St. Mary's/Good Samaritan Hospice, 609 North 12th Street, Mount Vernon, IL 62864. Envelopes will be available at the church. Leslie W. Smith

MARION -- Leslie W. Smith, 81, of Marion, passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Christmas morning in his home, with his family by his side. Leslie was born on Oct. 30, 1923, in West Frankfort, to George E. and Bessie (Nolen) Smith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having served as B-17 pilot during World War II. He retired from Freeman No. 4 Coal Mine, where he worked as an electrician for many years. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid golfer. Survivors include his mother, Bessie Smith of Marion; one nephew, Creighton B. Smith of Marion; and one great-nephew, Creighton C. Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo. He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, in infancy; and one brother, Creighton A. Smith. Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, in Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. The Rev. Mike Ebert officiated and military rites were performed in the chapel by the Herrin VFW and American Legion Posts. Burial followed in Sanders Cemetery in rural Marion. A visitation was held from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

COULTERVILLE -- The Rev. Clarence R. J. Witte, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at his daughter's home in Colorado. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church in Sparta, with the Rev. Bruce Cameron officiating. Burial will be in Tilden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Concordia Seminary or Lutheran Child and Family Services. McDaniel Funeral Homes Ltd. in Sparta is in charge of arrangements.

Della M. Goessman

SESSER -- Della M. Goessman, 85, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, in Fairview Nursing Home in Du Quoin. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, in Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser, with Brother Mark Miller officiating. Interment will be in Mitchell Cemetery in Sesser. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Goessman was retired and had worked for the Lynn-Gay Garment Factory and Canada Dry Company. She was born on Nov. 4, 1919, in Modock, to James and Anna Mason. She married Farrell T. Goessman on July 19, 1958, and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1998. Survivors include five children, Audrey Kimbro and Ray Mick, Georgette Hall and Terry Chambliss, all of Sesser, Sherry and Randy Peppers of Northlake, Donald and Mimma Ralls of Chicago, and Billy Ralls of Blythville, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, William Flood of Mulkeytown; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Vivian Ralls; two brothers; and three sisters.

Debra 'Debbie' Lee Ann Walker

MURPHYSBORO -- Debra 'Debbie' Lee Ann Walker, 47, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in St. Joseph Hospital in Murphysboro. She was born on Sept. 19, 1957, a daughter of Vernon L. Walker Sr. and Edna (Tucker) Walker. Debbie was a certified cook and had worked for Senior Adult Service in Carbondale. She had previously worked as a CNA. Survivors include her mother, Edna Walker of Murphysboro; her loving boyfriend of 18 years, Mike Easton of Murphysboro; three daughters, Angela (Brenton) Bryant, Nikki Etherton (John Norris) and Melissa Easton all of Murphysboro; a son, Jimmy Easton of Murphysboro; a grandson, James Michael Norris of Murphysboro; two brothers, Leroy (Rhonda)Walker of Murphysboro and Tom (Sue) Easton of Ava; two sisters, Sherry (Danny)Tow of Elkville and Jennifer Walker of Murphysboro; six nieces, seven nephews, two great-nieces and three great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Walker Sr. and a daughter, Billie Jean Walker. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Crain Funeral Home Pleasant Grove Chapel, old Illinois 13 between Carbondale and Murphysboro, with Chaplain Mary Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Crain Funeral Home Pleasant Grove Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
