Rosel B. Harmon of Campton Township, Ill.
Memorial services for Rosel B. Harmon, 54, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Yurs Wittenberg Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Route 38), Geneva. Dr. John R. Rodgers will officiate.
Born Nov. 13, 1944, in Aurora, the daughter of Alexander and Elsa Brown, she died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at home.
Private burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery, Aurora.
Rosel was a loving wife and mother, whowill be remembered for her love of gardening.
She is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Anne (Matt) Stewart of North Aurora; son, Alexander Harmon of Lily Lake; and brother, Alexander Brown of Helena, Mont.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Donald C. Holtz, 72, of Carol Stream, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 629-0094.

Michael G. Kanis of Palatine
Prayers for Michael G. Kanis, 80, formerly of Franklin Park, will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1152 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine.
Born March 12, 1918, in Detroit, Mich., he died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at Alden Nursing Center of Long Grove. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Prior to the retirement of Mr. Kanis in 1980, he had been a truck driver for morethan 35 years, and was a member of the Chicago Truck Drivers Union Local 705. He was a member of the Palatine Senior Citizens Center and a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his son, Michael J. Kanis of Palatine; grandchildren, Christopher and Kathleen Kanis; brother, Louis Kanis; and sisters-in-law, Jenny Kanis of Chicago, Patricia Gasparo of California and Dorothy Kanis of Lombard. He is also survived by Michelle Kanis of Schaumburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret H. Kanis; sister, Catherine Hanshaw; and brothers, William and Andrew Kanis.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Richard C. Kaszynski of Schaumburg
Services for Richard C. Kaszynski will begin with prayers at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg, and continue with Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 1001 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg.
Born Nov. 3, 1946, in Chicago, he died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999. Burial will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
Mr. Kaszynski was a Vietnam veteran and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of the Schaumburg Plans Commission and a former memberof the Schaumburg Jaycees.
He was the beloved husband of Joanne Kaszynski (nee Dugo); loving father of Joey and Kate Kaszynski; dear son of Jean and the late Charles Kaszynski; fond son-in-law of Joseph and Adeline Dugo; dear brother of Ted (Connie) Kasch; dear brother-in-law of Rosemarie (Barney) Dufner; and fond uncle of Kerri (Bill), Julie, Kelli and Gianni.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Cheng C. Kim of Lisle
Services for Cheng C. Kim, 56, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Lisle Bible Church, 1302 Lacey Ave. (Lacey and Route 53, just north of Ogden), Lisle.
Born April 19, 1942, in Chun-san, Korea, she died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at home.
Mrs. Kim served as a midwife in Germany in 1967, and then moved tothe United States in 1968, becoming a `proud' citizen in 1977. In 1970, the Kim family moved to Lisle. In Oct. 1998, Mrs. Kim retired from the Pepperidge Farm Bakery in Downers Grove after 25 years of service and became an owner of a Servicemaster franchise.
Mrs. Kim was an active member of the Korean Southern Presbyterian Church of Chicago, the Lisle Bible Church and the Chun-Nam Yosu City Association.
She was the wife of 30 years of Richard; mother ofSoo Jee (Bruce) Howell and Fair Charlie Kim; and grandmother of Matthias (Ty) Howell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the Lisle Bible Church.
Arrangements were made by Christian Funeral Services, Woodridge.

Ethel Esther Kraut of Vernon Hills
Services for Ethel Esther Kraut, 76, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of 49 years of Irving; cherished mother of Randall (Bessie), Jeffrey (Cynthia) and Mark (Ann); loving and proud grandmother of Rebecca, Jennifer, Jaime, Keri, Brian, Kevin and Sarah; dearest sister of Adele (CantorDavid) Politzer; and fond aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.

Avon M. Krogul of Palatine
Private memorial services will be held for Avon M. Krogul (nee Vuolle), age 66.
Mrs. Krogul died peacefully Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at home, after a long battle with lung and breast cancer.
A loving homemaker, wife and mother, she is survived by her devoted husband, George; children, Steven, Julie and Kay; grandchildren, George and Sara; and siblings, Carl, Ilene, Judy, Norma, Helen and Cleo.

Eleanor T. Lutka of Palatine
Prayers for Eleanor T. Lutka (nee Dreja), 78, will be said at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 2515 Palatine Rd., Inverness.
Born May 27, 1920, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at Columbia Hoffman Estates Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
Survivors include her sons, Michael D. (Debbie) Lutka of Hoffman Estates and Daniel A. (Linda) Lutka of Gurnee; grandchildren, Dan (Cary) Jr., John, Patricia, Michelle, Jeffrey, Rebecca and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Erica, Catrina and Lilly; and sisters, Virginia Dreja of Chicago and Helen Volante of Round Lake.
She was preceded in death byher husband, Alex Lutka.

George W. Marshall of Elgin
Services for George W. Marshall, 68, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Born April 22, 1930, in Madison County, Ill., to William and Mary Marshall, he died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be private.
Mr. Marshall had been a resident of Elgin since 1984 and had been employed by Pace Bus Company before retiring. A veteran, he had served in the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Shreda Marshall; daughter, Annette Marshall of Rolling Meadows; sons, Jack (Maedean) Marshall of Olney, Texas, Daniel (Patricia) Marshall of Phoenix, Ariz., Glen (Sheri) Marshall of Morton Grove and Wayne (Christine Postal) Marshall of McHenry; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Born in Valley View, Pa., she died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Rolling Meadows. Interment will be private.
A retired beautician, she was a member of the Elk Grove Seniors Club.
She was the wife of the late Roy M. Miller; mother of Marjorie M. (Walter) Sterrett of Elk Grove Village; sister of Hannah (Blair) Sitzlinger, Bernice Morgan, Minnie (Arden) Zeigenfuse, and the late Vernon (Marion) and William (Claire) Boyer; grandmother of Brian (Jane) Sterrett and Sherri (Brian) Kobylinski; and great-grandmother of William, Charles and Courtney.

Elizabeth M. `Betty' Moravec formerly of Arlington Heights
Funeral services for Elizabeth M. `Betty' Moravec (nee Fredricksen), 90, most recently of New Port Richey, Fla., also formerly of Des Plaines, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.
Born in Chicago, she died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at New Port Richey Community Hospital in Florida. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum, Arlington Heights.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late George J. Moravec, who preceded her in death in 1981; mother of George F. (Gloria) of Palatine, Harvey (Sharon) of Crystal Lake, and Delores (Thomas) Peters of Holiday, Fla. (formerly of Roselle); sister of La Verne Boyk of New Port Richey and Ethel Fanslow of Glenview; grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 14; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Joyce Morgan of Carpentersville
Funeral services for Joyce Morgan, 64, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St, Elgin.
Born Dec. 23, 1934, in Elgin, the daughter of Fritz and Serena Unruh Eickhorst, she died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Hampshire Center Cemetery, Hampshire.
Mrs. Morgan had lived in the Elgin/Carpentersville area for her entire life.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Ronald) Carpenter, granddaughter, Jennifer Carpenter and grandson, Edward Carpenter, all of Palatine; great-grandson, Corey Asquith of Schaumburg; and brother, James (Cynthia) Eickhorst of Marengo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Morgan, in 1998; and three brothers.
