Funeral services for Wayne D. Messmer, 75, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at Ewald-Barlock Funeral Home, Ltd., 2501 N. Southport Ave., Chicago, and continue to St. Josaphat Church for a 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of Dolores H. (nee Milder); loving father of Barbara (Francis) Vogel, Fred (Marian), Wayne P. (Kathleen) and Tina Marie Messmer; and proud grandfather and great-grandfather of many.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Clarence T. Anderson, 98, of Elgin, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999. Arrangements were made by Madison Funeral Homes, Inc., (847) 741-1128.

Josephine Elizabeth Andracki of Waukegan
A Mass of Christian Burial for Josephine Elizabeth Andracki, 89, formerly of North Chicago, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, at Queen of Peace Church.
Born June 19, 1909, in North Chicago, she died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at Provena St. Therese Medical Center.
Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from Abbott Laboratories in 1974, after 40 years of service with the narcotics division. She was a former member of Holy Rosary Church and presently a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Sacred Heart Apostleship of Prayer Society, Catholic Womens Club of Lake County and the 20th Century Club of Abbotts.
Survivors include her sisters, Marion Andracki and Agnes Andracki both of Waukegan; nephews, Gregory Andracki of Trevor, Wis. and Louis J. Andracki of Paddock Lake, Wis.; and grandniece, Denise (Dave) Mac Fadden of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Veronica (nee Olichwier) Andracki; brothers, John, Louis Jr. and Carl Andracki; and sisters, Carrie and Veronica Andracki.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, at Salata Funeral Home, 729-14th St., North Chicago.
Donations in her memory may be made in the form of Masses or to Queen of Peace Church.

Ann W. Blair of Countryside Lake, Mundelein
A memorial service for Ann W. Blair, 78, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at First Presbyterian Church, Maple and Douglas Avenue, Libertyville.
Born March 20, 1920, in Decatur, Ill., she died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at the University of Chicago Hospital.
A 1938 graduate of Decatur High School, she attended the University of Illinois. She was a former resident of Glenview and Wilmette and had lived in Mundelein for the past seven years.
Ann was a past president of the Women's Auxiliary of Association House inChicago, former member and Ordained Deacon at the Deerfield Presbyterian Church and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville.
Surviving are her husband, Hugh T. Blair; children, Dr. Tom (Joan) Blair of The Woodlands, Texas, William Blair of Vernon Hills and John (Debbie) Blair of Mundelein; grandchildren, Tad, Dayna (Charles), Jared, Megan, Lindsey and Jay; and sister, Harriet (William) Allen of Austin, Texas.
She was preceded in death byher parents, William and Margaret Wayland.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Gastrointestinal Research Foundation, would be appreciated.

Joel Brumlik, M. D.
formerly of Oak Park Services for Joel Brumlik, M. D., of Bowling Green, Ohio, will be held at 2 p.m. today, at Shalom Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Rand Rd. and Route 53, Arlington Heights.
He was the devoted father of Marc (Kimberly) Brumlik and Rachel (Mark) Weber; and cherished grandfather of Emily and Daniel Weber, and Sarah and Alex Brumlik.

Richard R. Cerami of Schaumburg

He was the beloved fiance of Ann Eck; devoted father of Sheila and Lisa Cerami; fond grandfather of Skylar; loving son of Santo and the late Ida Cerami; dear brother of Sonny (Debbie) Cerami; caring uncle of many nieces and nephews; and loving cousin of many.

Dr. Keun D. Cha of rural St. Charles
Funeral services for Dr. Keun D. Cha, 52, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Salem Korean United Methodist Church, 10 S. Walnut, Schaumburg, with the Rev. Eun-Hae Chung officiating.
Born July 16, 1946, in South Korea, the son of Moo-young Cha, he passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999. Apparently stricken with a silent heart attack as he slept, he died peacefully at home.
Keun grew up near Seoul, South Korea, and studied at the Yonsei University College of Medicine. There, he met his wife, Suckhee. Following three years as a flight surgeon with the Korean Air Force, he came to the United States in 1973.
Full of vision and determination, Keun devoted himself to the practice of medicine, and Suckhee devoted herself to raising their family. Together, they quietly and humbly achieved many great things. Professionally, Dr. Cha was a progressive and innovative anesthesiologist. As the head of his household and with his life partner, Suckhee, he raised a family of three children whom he schooled well in the family tradition of hard work and the pursuit of excellence.
From 1973 to 1974, Dr. Cha served a rotating internship at Perth Amboy General Hospital, N. J., followed by a residency in anesthesiology at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, N. J., from 1974 until 1976. He then served a third-year fellowship in cardiology and pulmonary medicine, also at Monmouth, from 1976 to 1977.
He began his private practice at St. Joseph's Hospital in Alton, Ill., and moved to St. Charles in 1987. At Delnor-Community Hospital, he made regionalanesthetic well-accepted and the first choice whenever possible.
Forming a professional corporation for anesthesiologists, he also succeeded in making anesthesia service a separate department at the hospital. In 1993, he began a pain management service which encompassed all manner of pain management modalities. In 1996, a back injury forced his resignation from the pain management service but he continued to pursue his private studies and consulted from his home.
Dr. Cha was a member of the American Medical Association, the American Surgical Association, the Illinois State and Kane County Medical Societies, and served for seven years as secretary-treasurer of the Delnor-CommunityMedical Staff, in addition to serving on various hospital committees.
Apart from his medical practice, Keun enjoyed tennis and looked forward to playing golf, but his greatest love was his family and the care of their country home. Surrounded by nature, he enjoyed the simple beauty of the outdoors during every season of the year. An insatiable student of science, philosophy, medicine and the arts, he had a remarkable gift for learning about and then teaching almost everything from tennis to medicine. Glenn W. Chilver of Mount Prospect
Services for Glenn W. Chilver, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Hwy.), Mount Prospect.
Born Dec. 23, 1921, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery.
Mr. Chilver was a salesman in the Carnation division of Nestle and Bowman Dairy Company. He served in the Army as a staff sergeant during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Chilver (nee Baske); sons, Gary (Kathy) and Mark (Rosemary) Chilver; grandchildren, Jason (Tamara), Jeffrey, Tina and David; and great-grandson, Conley.

Martha E. Clarke of Algonquin
Funeral services for Martha E. Clarke (nee Thieme), 79, formerly of Palatine, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Chapel, 201 S. Main St., Algonquin.
Born Jan. 1, 1920, in Waterbury, Conn., she died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Walter Clarke, whom she married in 1942 and who preceded her in 1986; sons, Thomas (Angelika) Clarke of Lake in the Hills and Robert Clarke of Milwaukee, Wis.; brother, Robert (Elizabeth) Thieme of Ripon, Wis.; sisters, Louise (Erwin) Sturm of El Cajon, Calif. and Gertrude (Harold) Krug of McHenry; grandson, Brian Clarke of Raleigh, N. C.; special friends, Amanda Aldrich and Ted Steffen; and many nieces and nephews.

Forrest `Rusty' V. Haines of Elgin
Funeral services for Forrest `Rusty' V. Haines, 80, will be held at10 a.m. Friday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, with Deacon Bob Real officiating.
Born Dec. 29, 1918, in Huntley, the son of Vernon and Clara Haines, he passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
Rusty was employed by the Elgin National Watch Company prior tohis retirement. He was a member of the Batavia Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #682, the Silver Foxes and the Wayne Township Seniors.
He is survived by his adoptive family, Joyce and Donald Alters of Florida; seven grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and very close friend, Til Van Huissling and her family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Haines; and dear friend, Anna I. Yeagley.
