Cathern Johnson of Libertyville
Funeral services for Cathern Johnson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park (Route 176), Libertyville, with the Rev. Kenneth Press officiating.
Born in Libertyville, Mrs. Johnson passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Interment will follow the services in Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago.
Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Waukegan High School and received her nurse's training degree from Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan. She worked at both Victory Memorial and Condell Medical Center, and also as a private duty nurse. She enjoyed playing bridge and gardening.
Surviving are her son, Rodney Johnson of Libertyville; nieces, Miriam (Jack) Peaco of Mundelein, Harriet Wilkinson and Beverly (Kenneth) Schar, all of Libertyville, and Pearl Knigge of Frankfort; and many great-nieces and greatnephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert, in 1973.
Friends of the family may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes. Association in her memory.

Sean Kiernan Kelley
A private funeral Mass will be celebrated for Sean Kiernan Kelley, 14, of San Bernadino, Calif.
Born July 21, 1984, in Elk Grove Village, he died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, in Loma Linda, Calif.
Originally from Chicago, Sean had lived with his parents, brother and sisters in San Bernadino for the past 13 years. He was a special education student at Truman Middle School in Fontana, Calif.
He was the beloved son of Karen Marie and James Kiernan Kelley; loving brother of James, Candice, Chandra, Carin, Cecelia and Mary Celeste; cherished grandson of Patricia A. and John P. Kelley and Margaret and Fredrick Hafner; and dear nephew and cousin of many.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.

Beatrice G. Koscielniak of Geneva
Funeral services for Beatrice G. Koscielniak, 70, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St., Geneva, proceeding to St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva, for an 11 a.m. Mass. Father Anthony Pantyra will officiate.
Born Nov. 6, 1928, inChicago, the daughter of Fred and Irene (nee Collins) Scholl, she passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. Burial will follow Mass in Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva.
Mrs. Koscielniak spent her adult life making a home for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Henry; children, Stephen of Schaumburg, Susan (Michael) West of Minnesota, and Janet (Lou) DelPercio of Villa Park; seven grandchildren; sister, Myrtle Cizinauskas of Schaumburg; brothers, Mickey (Vivian) of Florida and William of Chicago; sister, Florence Scholl of Itasca; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, with a Liturgical service at 7:30 p.m.

Diane T. Kowalski of Fox Lake for 25 years
Funeral services for Diane T. Kowalski, 40, formerly of Lake Villa, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, with the pastor George Caboon officiating.
Born Sept. 30, 1958, in Germany, she passed away Monday, Jan. 25 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Interment will be private.
Diane graduated in 1976 from Antioch High School. She was employed as an office manager for Leonardi's Pizza in Wauconda for the past five years. Diane was a generous person who was always willing to give of herself.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne, to whom she was wed on July 22, 1980, in Waukegan; sons, Bud (Bonnie) Kowalski and Wayne (Andrea) Kowalski, all ofRound Lake Heights; sisters, Barbara Silbaugh of Lake Villa and Rita (Steve) Gebauer of Antioch; brother, Allen (Leeann Verkeyn) Stevens of Pell Lake, Wis.; parents, Ralph and Inge Stevens of Lake Villa; grandchildren, Steven andAlex; paternal grandmother, Hortense Stevens of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Earl, in 1969, and maternal grandparents, Casimir and Florence Kowalski.
Friends of the family may visit at the funeral chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorials may be given to the Fox Lake Rescue Squad, American Diabetes. Association, or to an agency to prevent child abuse, in her memory.
The family wishes to extend a `Thank you' to the Fox Lake Rescue Squad, Fox Lake Police Department, and to the doctors at the Northern Illinois Medical Center.

Juliana S. Lazaro
Funeral services for Juliana S. Lazaro (nee Simpliciano) will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle, and continue to St. Isidore Church for a 10 a.m. Mass.
She was the beloved wife of Jose Lazaro; devoted mother of Trini (Asis) Aspiritu, Mila (Angel) Espinosa and Cris (Becky) Lazaro; dear sister of Alipio (Maria) Simpliciano; fond grandmother of 10; and great-grandmother of six.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m today and Friday, at the funeral chapel.

Miriam Lessek of Naperville
Funeral services for Miriam Lessek (nee O'Brien) will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 815 S. Washington St., Naperville.
She was the beloved wife of Peter; loving mother of Timothy and Justin; cherished companion of her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bailey; devoted daughter of Edward and the late Margaret O'Brien; fond sister of Charles O'Brien, Elizabeth Wills and Mary O'Brien;and caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien.

Mary Ann Richardson Linneman of Wheaton
A memorial service for Mary Ann Richardson Linneman (nee Fowler) will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at First Presbyterian Church, 715 Carlton, Wheaton.
Born Jan. 30, 1920, in Kirksville, Mo., she died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Kirksville.
A resident of Wheaton for 15 years, Mrs. Linneman was an active member and former president of the PEO Sisterhood, Chapter NC. She celebrated 60 years of membership in PEO, having been initiated in 1938 to Chapter CW, Kirksville. She was also a member of the Women's Department Club of Wheaton, Family Services - Wheaton Chapter, FirstPresbyterian Church of Wheaton, and the Elks Country Club and Twentieth Century Literary Society in Pontiac, Ill. She was also an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for many years.
Mrs. Linneman was a graduate of Lindenwood College, St. Charles, Mo., received an additional degree in teaching from Kirksville State Teachers College (now Truman State University), and taught high school math in Winterset, Iowa. During World War II, sheserved in the American Red Cross.
On June 21, 1941, she married Dale E. Richardson and together they raised a family in Pontiac where Dr. Richardson set up his medical practice. He passed away in 1977. In May 1983, she married John A. Linneman of Dayton, Ohio, a lifelong friend of Dr. Richardson. Mr.
Linneman passed away in November 1983.
Surviving are her sons, Phil (Irene) Richardson of Kirksville and James Dale Richardson of Bismark, Ill.; daughter, Ruth Ann (Keith) Carlson of Wheaton; and grandchildren, Jacob and Sara Richardson of California, and Bryan and Brad Carlson of Wheaton.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, Philip J. and Ruth Sanders Fowler of Kirksville.
Memorial contributions to Hospice of DuPage, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188, would be appreciated.

Thomas R. Malewski of Island Lake
Services for Thomas R. Malewski, 63, formerly of Lake Zurich, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St.
Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.
Born Feb. 25, 1935, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, in Cuba Township. Interment will be in Transfiguration Cemetery.
Tom was an avid bowler, loved woodworking, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. For many years he was a girls softball coach.
He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann Malewski; loving father of Carrie (Barry) Dodt, Thomas (Margarita) Malewski and Kimberly (Robert) Kehoe; dearest grandfather of Thomas Ryan Malewski and Megan Kathleen Kehoe; and dear brother of August Malewski of Shiocton, Wis., and Gladys Lemon of Bartlett.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Ramona O. Martin of Crystal Lake
Memorial services for Ramona O. Martin, 93, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Windridge Funeral Home, 104 High Road, Cary.
Born Feb. 6, 1906, in Beardstown, she died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at the Care Center of Wauconda.
Mrs. Martin taught grade school in Beardstown. She was a charter member of the McHenry County Historical Society, having served on its board and donated many hours of volunteer work.
She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Martin enjoyed traveling, and visited many parts of the world with friends.
She is survived by her son, John (Harriet) Martin of Crystal Lake; daughter-in-law, Lois (Earl) Echroll of North Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Charles (Phyllis) Martin of Wildwood, Judi (Mark) Becker of Gurnee and Kathy Echroll of Miami, Fla.; four great-grandchildren; niece, Carol Barkman of Glen Ellyn; andgreat-niece, Meghan Barkman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Martin; son, Charles, who died during the Korean War; sister, Morena Hager; and granddaughter, Christine Echroll.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McHenry County Historical Society.

Raymond E. McAllister of Tinley Park
Prayers for Raymond E. McAllister will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday, at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave., Tinley Park, and continue to St. George Church for an 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth, Ill.
Mr. McAllister was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. C. C. Boyle Council #4698, and a member of Operating Engineers Local #150.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Michaelsen); loving father of Raymond (Carol) McAllister, Jack (Mary Jane) McAllister, Dottie (Dave) Bayless, Daniel (Nancy) McAllister, James McAllister and the late Robert McAllister, U. S. M. C.; and fond grandfather of 12.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
