Glen E. Vierig of Genoa
Services for Glen E. Vierig, 48, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, atSt. John Lutheran Church in Burlington. The Rev. Edward A. Davis will officiate.
Born Jan. 9, 1951, in Elgin, to Ervin and Margaret (nee Ahrens) Vierig, he died suddenly Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital in Belvidere. Burial will be in Burlington Township Union Cemetery.
Mr. Vierig was a 1969 graduate of Burlington High School and served in the Navy during the Vietname War. He had been employed as a truck driver for the Preston Trucking Company in Elgin for the past 13 years and for Floit Ready Mix of Sycamore prior to that.
Glen was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Burlington and was past president of the Burlington High School Alumni Association.
Surviving are his wife, Terry Vierig (nee Pankratz), whom he married Sept. 6, 1980; children, Kindra (Roger) Finnan of DeKalb and Adrianna and Victoria at home; father, `Erv' Vierig of Genoa; stepgrandsons, Zach and Luke Finnan; sisters, Gail (Dennis) Thiele of Elgin and Pat Ellsworth of Texas; brother, Paul (Dee) Vierig of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret, Nov. 13, 1997.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St., Hampshire, and prior to services on Saturday, at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Burlington.

Raymond A. Wolff of Elgin
Funeral services for Raymond A. Wolff, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Elgin, with the Rev. Thomas Niermann officiating.
Born Nov. 8, 1912, in Elgin, the son of Fred J. and Mary Rahn Wolff, he died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin.
Survivors include his wife, Elva A. Wolter Wolff, whom he married in 1941; sons, William (Susan) Wolff of Bluff Point, N. Y., John Wolff of Elgin and David (Jean) Wolff of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter, Jane Wolff of Berkley, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mildred Paulin and Gladys Reynolds; and his brother, Fred J. Wolff Jr.
Mr. Wolff was a lifetime resident of Elgin. He graduated from Valparaiso University and Valparaiso University Law School, where he was a member of Sigma Delta Kappa. He had practiced law in Elgin since 1937 and was named senior counselor in 1987 by the Illinois Bar Association. He was also past president of the Elgin Bar Association.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, andfor 25 years, served on the Board of Christian Education of the Northern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church. He also served on the building committee of St. John's school.
Mr. Wolff was a Republican, having served as precinct committeeman and having been voted `outstanding committeeman' in 1978. He was appointed by Judge Charles G. Seidel in 1952 as a member of the Kane County Board of Review. He served on the tax review board longer than any other member, retiring in 1978. He was active for many years in the Young Men's Christian Association and served for 25 years on the Camp Edwards committee. He also was active in the Boy Scouts, where he was awarded the Wood Badge, theSilver Lamb and the Silver Beaver.
During World War II, he served in the Navy, and was a member of American Legion Post #57 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1307. He was past president of the Kiwanis Club of Elgin and had been awarded the Legion of Honor for 50 years of service.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Home, 51 Center St., Elgin, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services, Saturday, at the church.
Donations in Raymond's name would be appreciated to Valparaiso University.

Anna Victoria Bernath of Chicago
Funeral services for Anna Victoria Bernath (nee Hlavaty) will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, at Schielka Addison Street Funeral Home, 7710 W. Addison St., Chicago, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Francis Borgia Church.
Mrs. Bernath died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolph J.; loving mother of Rudolph W. (the late Therese) and Robert G. (Peggy); loving grandmother of John, Cathy Pesole, Betty, Billy, Brian, Barbara and the late Thomas; fond great-grandmother of Johnny, Emily, Jennifer Pesole and Ryan Pesole; loving sister of Steve Hlavaty, John Hlavaty, Rosemarie Antes and the late Joseph Hlavaty; and aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Clarence T. Anderson of Elgin
Services for Clarence T. Anderson, 98, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin.
Born Oct. 6, 1900, in Elgin, the son of Anton and Christine (nee Nelson) Anderson, he died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at Maplewood. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Elgin, he is survived by his daughters, Ruth Rynders of DeKalb and Vivian Anderson of Elk Grove Village; sons, Donald (Sara) Anderson of Texas and Jimmy Anderson of Nevada; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lula; infant son, Marvin James; sons, Lyle and David; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday, at the funeral home.

Christenson; dear sister-in-law of Henrietta Ann Christenson; caring aunt of Mary Jo (Michael) Sutcliffe and Jim Christenson; great-aunt of Ashley and Brandon Sutcliffe; and dear friend of many.

Hubert A. Boettcher of Prospect Heights
Mass for Hubert A. Boettcher, 76, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Emily Church.
Born Nov. 8, 1922, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at NorthwestCommunity Healthcare. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Mr. Boettcher had worked as a cable installer for Illinois Bell Telephone for 32 years, retiring in 1982.
He was the husband of Marguerite T. `Dolly' (nee Schneider); father of Walter Boettcher of McHenry, Paul (Mary) Boettcher of Bartlett, Susan (William) Luebke of Streamwood, Kathleen (Greg) Malek of Springfield, Margaret (Thomas) Erwin of Park Ridge, Elizabeth (William) Bielanski of Schaumburg, Theresa (Richard) Cordes of Lake Villa, Geralyn Boettcher of Wilmette, Mary Kay (Mark) Tambeaux of Mount Prospect, Ann Marie Boettcher of Kirksville, Mo., and the late Cynthia (Wayne) Soph of Crestwood, Ky., and Joseph Boettcher; brother of the late Dorothy Schietzel; grandfather of 28; and great-grandfather.

Mrs. Boomer was a retired employee of Wilkin Insulation Company of Arlington Heights.

He was the beloved husband of Thomasina (nee Leone); devoted father of Josephine (Robert) Weikel and Pat (Frances) Capotosto; fond grandfather of Craig Weikel, Jeff, Joseph (Anne) Capotosto, and Tricia (Michael) Jenke; and great-grandfather of five.

June Ramser Cave of St. Charles
Funeral services and interment for June Ramser Cave, 76, formerly of Wayne, will be private. There will be a memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, at the Millcreek Country Club in Geneva.
She died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at her home after a long illness.
She attended Northwestern University and the Art Institute of Chicago before marrying Robert V. Cave in 1944. After the war, they settled in Wayne where they lived for more than 40 years. In the early 1970s, she became executive director of the Chicago Maternity Center which helped pioneer the concept of birthing rooms in hospital prenatal units.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianna (Tom) Lenahan of West New York, N. J.; son, Robert (Marjorie) Cave of St. Charles; daughter, Jan (Phillip) Folsom of Rindge, New Hampshire; and five grandchildren, Conan Griffin, Ashley, Charlie and Mimi Cave and Sarah Folsom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Vera Ramser; her husband of 43 years, Bob; and grandson, Patrick Rocky Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fox Valley Hospice, 200 Whitfield Dr., P. O. Box 707, Geneva, IL 60134.

Constance C. Cesarone of Wheaton
A chapel service for Constance C. Cesarone (nee Malvestuto) will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mrs. Cesarone will always be remembered for making her family the top priority in her life and the center of her enjoyment. She spent much of her life making pasta dinners, Easter bread and pizelles.
She was the beloved wife of the late Giacomo Cesarone; devoted mother of Anthony (Irene) and Jack (Mary Kay) Cesarone; fond grandmother of Tony (Joann), Jack (Julie), Linda (Sam) and Michael Cesarone, and Brenda (Roland) Mills; great-grandmother of Michelle, Ashley, Kelsy, Lisa, Dawn, Tami, Brent and Paul; and great-great-grandmother of Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.
