Londa “Lonnie” Kay Williams, 47, of Decatur, IL, passed on peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father with her family by her side at 7:07 P.M., Monday, March 24, 2008.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 28, 2008, at Life Foursquare Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 27, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
Memorials may be made to Life Foursquare Church or Decatur Memorial Hospice.
Lonnie was born October 19, 1960, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Richard D. and Wanda R. (Gerk) Hall. She married Richard “Rick” Williams on January 29, 1979 in Decatur, IL.
Lonnie was a member of Life Foursquare Church and a graduate of Lakeview High School. She was owner of Lonnie’s Sign of Country and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Rick; daughters Hannah Medley and husband Paul and Holly Williams, all of Decatur, IL; grandson Joss; father Richard and mother Wanda of Decatur, IL; grandmother Dorothy Gerk of Decatur, IL; brother Rick Hall and wife Jan of Macon, IL; nieces Stephanie and Kelsey of Macon, IL; father and mother-in-law Shirley & Dick Williams; sister-in-law Kris; aunt and uncle Bob and Lois Mayberry; loving cousins and friends; and her beloved dachshund dog Gracie Anne.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Helen Hall and both grandfathers.

James E. (Jim/Ed) Wilson, 85, of Decatur, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008, in Decatur Rehabilitation Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 4, at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be at 8:00 p.m., Friday, following the visitation. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. The family requests casual dress.
Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice, Galilee Baptist Church or Sharon United Methodist Church of Decatur, IL.
Jim was born March 8, 1922, to John Thomas and Lucinda Jane (Roy) Wilson, in Somerset, KY. He married Lucille Redmond on November 1, 1947.
Jim was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany and France from 1941-1943. He was a Mason for over 50 years, a Shriner for over 20 years, and a previous Moose member. He retired from L.E. Myers Construction Company.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lucille, of Decatur, daughters Geneva and husband Joe Bailey of Georgetown, KY; Vicki L. Mathias of Elwin, IL; Connie J. and husband Mike Albert of Decatur, IL; and son Michael; grandchildren Jay and wife Tracy of Decatur, IL; Gena Otus of Belmont, CA; Chad and wife Stephanie of Waterman, IL; Craig Wilson of Decatur, IL; Jason Crutcher of Park Forest, IL; Huston and Cody Mathias of Elwin, IL; great grandchildren Ryan and Jacob Albert of Decatur, IL; Jackson Velez of Belmont, CA; and his loyal dog Rusty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
The family wishes to express a grateful “Thank You” to the nurses and staff of Decatur Rehabilitation Health Care Center and DMH Hospice.

Gary LeDon Witts, 70, of Decatur, IL, died 6:48 P.M., Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 11, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 P.M., Sunday, February 10, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery, Mt. Pulaski, IL. Memorials may be made to Maranatha Assembly of God.
Gary was born July 20, 1937, in Decatur, IL, the son of Don E. and Bessie A. (Duncan) Witts. He was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God and formerly a 50 year member of Decatur Foursquare Church. Gary worked at Herald & Review as an advisor and most recently worked for the Decatur School District #61. He was President of SEIU Local #344 for 8 years. Gary was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Gary is survived by his mother Bessie Cooper of Decatur, IL; son Eric Witts and wife Jami of St. Augustine, FL; daughter Holly Nalley and husband Tim of Decatur, IL; 3 grandchildren; brothers Harold A. Witts and wife Debra A. of Decatur, IL, Ivan Witts and wife Debby of CO; sister Karin E. Zindars and husband Ted of Decatur, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father Don Witts.

Leland R. "Lee" Wochner
November 15, 1927 - April 08, 2008

Leland R. “Lee” Wochner passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday, April 11, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with Masonic services at 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Decatur.
Memorials may be made to Decatur Masonic Temple building restoration fund or the Decatur Macon County Animal Shelter.
Lee was born November 15, 1927, to Joe H. and Winnie Wochner in Decatur. He married Mildred E. Dexter Bowman on June 30, 1973. She preceded him in death on October 13, 1996. Lee worked with his father at the Monroe Grill, for Gebhart Motor Supply Stores and retired from Decatur Caterpillar after 31 years of service.
Lee was a lifetime member of Ionic Lodge #312, Decatur, having served as Master, Secretary and Treasurer. He was Grand Lecturer Emeritus Grand Lodge of Illinois AF & AM, 50 year member of First Presbyterian Church, Decatur, EAA Chapter 274, Decatur Trail Riders and played in the Decatur Municipal Band from 1946 to 1962.
He is survived by his 3 stepchildren: Richard Bowman (Evie) of Boody, David Bowman of Decatur and Dana Brewer (Leonard) of Hammond; 8 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a niece, Jean Carter of Algonquin, IL, a nephew James E. Tille (Insuk) of Spokane, WA, and a brother-in-law Charles Tille (Betsy) of Decatur and 4 great nieces and nephews.
Lee enjoyed golf, bowling, Masonic Lodge, all music, and his cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and his sister, Alice E. Wochner Tille.

L. Marilyn Wolfer

L. Marilyn Wolfer, 81, died at 4:50 pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. She was born April 8, 1926 in Christian County, Illinois. A daughter of Harold and Stella (Bliler) Ritter, she married Harold W. Wolfer on February 14, 1947 in Blue Mound, Illinois. They would have celebrated their 61st anniversary on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2008.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes in Decatur. Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Friday, January 25th at the funeral home. Reverend Charles Banning will officiate, assisted by Donna Hord. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Her husband survived her by only 16 hours. Mr. Wolfer died at 8:50 am Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Survivors include children Joyce Bishop (Tom Bottom) of Charleston, Karen Brown (Phil) of Macon, and Mark Wolfer and special friend Cindy Deadrick of Decatur; grandchildren Teresa Marburger (Alan), Nicholas Brown (Amber), Alex and Seth Brown, Aaron and Drew Wolfer; great-grandchildren Zackary, Austin, and Allison Marburger, and Kaleb and Page Brown; sister-in-law Arlone Ritter Dalluge and brother-in-law John Butterfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her brother William H. Ritter and an infant brother and sister.
Mrs. Wolfer was a homemaker and retired secretary. She was a fifty-year member of both Macon County Home Extension and Eastern Star, a regular at the Friendship Class Tuesday quilter’s sessions, and a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. She was Christian County Fair Queen in 1942.
Memorials are suggested to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, the Blue Mound Fire and Rescue, or the donor’s choice.

Harold W. Wolfer

Harold W. Wolfer, 84, died at 8:50 am on Wednesday, January 23, 2008. He was born on July 8, 1923 in Macon County, Illinois. The son of C. Louis and Ethel (Bowman) Wolfer, he married L. Marilyn Ritter on February 14, 1947 in Blue Mound, Illinois. They would have celebrated their 61st anniversary on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2008.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday (05-10-08) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Friday (05-09-08) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home Decatur, IL. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery Decatur, IL. Arrangements are being handled by Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL.
Memorials may be made to: Fair Havens Christian Home.
Lucy was born on May 19, 1917 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Harry Goldenstein and Margaret (Pritchard) Goldenstein. She married Burle Wood on December 6, 1941 in Union, Missouri. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and formerly a member of Trueblood United Methodist Church. She was very active with volunteer work at her church. Lucy was co-founder of Wood Printing, which she operated with her husband Burle from 1954-1980. Lucy enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and cooking.
She is survived by her son Steven (Donna) Wood of Union, MO; daughter Margaret Wood of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Matthew (Pam) Wood of Carterville, IL, Kristin Taylor of Decatur, IL, Andrew (Kristin) Wood of Chicago, IL, Scott Pritts of Chicago, IL; step grandson Brian Shures of Decatur, IL; 7 great grandchildren; special friends Ethel Roles and Judy Schmidt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Burle, sisters Bonnie Snyder and Hariett Boudell, and step grandson Chris Shures.

Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M., Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice.
Mary was born October 16, 1913, in Long Creek Township, Macon County, IL, the daughter of Robert Lee and Mabel Mae (Myers) Cowgill. She married Addie W. Workman on October 29, 1938 in Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1987.
Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a teacher for 20 years, teaching grades 1 - 8, at Whitehall School, Argenta School, Kirby School, Mt. Zion School and St. Patricks School.
She is survived by her children Gary Lee Workman and wife Judy of Elkhorn, NE, Marsha Bowman and husband Michael of Lapeer, MI, Paula Veach of Decatur, IL, Pamela Sebby of Champaign, IL; grandchildren Lisa Reeg, Carol Workman - Halvey, Stanley Workman, Christine Rushlow, Tracey Bowman, Lori McGrath, Shannon Bowman, Jennifer Veach, Jeffrey Veach, Brian Sebby; 13 great grandchildren; sister Pauline Cowgill of Decatur, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Our family would like to thank the CNA’s and nurses at Fair Havens for the care and compassion given to our mother.
