Karen Faith Anthony
BOURBON -- Karen Faith Anthony, 48, of Bourbon died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at Hospice
House of South Bend after an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas and their three children: Danielle of Winona Lake,
Alisha and Brandon both at home; her mother, Janice Houchin of Martinsville; a sister, Angela
(James) Gehbauer of Martinsville; and a brother, Rick (Cathie) Houchin of Franklin.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at 10 a.m. in The Country Church.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24 in The Country Church north of Bourbon on S.R. 331.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill cemetery at Bourbon.
The family requests memorial contributions are made to the Hospice and Palliative Care in
Karen’s memory.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home of Bourbon is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Rev. Glen Russell Johnson
PLYMOUTH -- Rev. Glen Russell Johnson, 88, Plymouth, died in Alaska Oct. 19, 2011. He is
survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, the Rev. Johnnie R. (Mary Ann) Johnson of Fort Gratiot, Mich;
three grandchildren and nine-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, from
noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2011.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in the Morris cemetery, on U.S. 6, west of LaPaz.

Nanie Joseph
KNOX -- Nanie Joseph, 85, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 in Wintersong Village, Knox.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda (Dorsie) Patrick and Dulcine (John) Hunnicutt, all of
Knox, D.J. (Edward) Fox of Bennettsville, S.C. and Barbara (Larry) Robinson of Medaryville; two
sons, Earl (Sandy) Smith of Knox and Charles (Sandy) Smith of Port Richie, Fla.; 15
grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Melavie Lane
and Wanda Frazier, both of North Judson, Helen Oliver of Bowling Green, Ky. and Revena
Arnett of Belpre, Ohio and two brothers, Fanuel Clemons of Knox and Otis Clemons of Elkhart.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. CDT in Rannells Funeral Home,
Hamlet Chapel. Burial will be at the Crown Hill cemetery, Knox. Visitation is Monday from 4 to 8
p.m. and Tuesday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Frank Leslie Doll
PLYMOUTH -- Frank Leslie Doll, 86, of Bourbon, died at home at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011.
Frank was born in Oak Park, Ill. Aug. 24, 1925. He was the son of Leslie F. and Josephine
Newberg Doll. He graduated from Austin High School in 1943 and from Wright Jr. College.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 as a Tech Sergeant, (T5) with the
1346th Combat Engineers in Europe and Okinawa during WWII.
Nov. 19, 1944, in Chicago, he was married to Mary Ann Grajkowski. Mary Ann died Jan. 19, 1986.
July 1, 1989, in Chicago, Frank and Dolores McCauley were wed.
Frank was a Chicago Fire Fighter for 23 years, serving with Engine Co. 129. He retired in 1978.
He was a volunteer Fire Fighter in Lemont for 10 years and lived in Plymouth for many years
after.
Frank was a Master Carpenter in carpenters Union No. 10. He was a member of the American
Legion in Lemont and a parishioner at St. Michael Catholic Church in Plymouth.
He is survived by his devoted wife Dolores of Bourbon. He is also survived by his brother
Michael Anthony Doll of Las Vegas, Nev. His children: Joy (Charles) Wolf, Michael A. (Jenny)
Doll, Mary Ann (William) Saindon, Frank Leo Doll, and John J. (Anne) Doll. He is also survived
by his stepchildren: Kathryn, Patrick, and Paul J. McCauley.
Thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Georgiana, a brother, Sgt. Gerald E
Doll, Chicago Police Dept., and his first wife, Mary Ann Grajkowski Doll.
Friends and family will be welcomed at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan
St., Plymouth, to share memories and condolences with Frank’s family Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011,
from 4 to 7 p.m. EDT
A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held in St. Michael Catholic Church, 613 N. Center St.,
Plymouth, at 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011. The Rev. Father William Kummer will
officiate. Military honors will immediately follow provided by members of the Plymouth American
Legion Post 27, VFW Marshall County Post 1162 and DAV.
Burial will be held in St. Alphonsus cemetery, located on State Street north of Weimer in Lemont
Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 at noon CDT.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Frank’s memory may be made to the Center for
Hospice Care, 112 S. Center St., Plymouth, IN 46563.

Frances May Long
BOURBON -- Frances May Long, 72, of Bourbon, passed away at 5:32 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20,
2011 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Jan. 2, 1939, Frances was born to George and Emma (Coonfare) Williams in Starke County.
She graduated from Aubbeenaubbee High School, Leiters Ford, in 1957.
Frances married Ernie D. Long Dec. 31, 1974 in Plymouth. He preceded her in death Nov. 28,
1997.
She had been a resident of the Bourbon area since 1989. Frances was former co-owner of
Ernie’s Country Inn Restaurant, Plymouth from 1973 to 1989. She had been employed at
Richard’s Restaurant, Warsaw since 1993.
Frances was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Plymouth and was a life member of
VFW Auxiliary Post #1162, Plymouth.
She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Trusty, Warsaw and Sandra (and spouse Scott)
Hawks, Warsaw; three stepchildren, Brad Long, Bourbon, Bud Long, Pierceton and Dave Long,
Atwood; one sister, Linda Jackson, Bourbon; one brother, Arthur (and spouse Lois) Williams,
Hobart; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by
three sisters, Alwilda Latta, Ina Troyer and Fern Strong; one brother, Richard Williams and two
stepchildren, Ernest Long II and Kay Jacobs.
Funeral services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw Tuesday, Oct. 25,
2011 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gail Law officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill cemetery,
Bourbon.
Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at the funeral chapel.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 601 W.
Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

Velma L. Schilling
ORA -- Velma L. Schilling, 81, of Ora died Oct. 20, 2011 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver at 6:45
a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley W. Schilling of Culver; daughters, Beverly (Gary)
Burkett of Ora, Dora Mishler of Culver, Carol (Paul) Olson of Marion; son, Robert Schilling of
Burr Oak; sister, Fran Netters of Niles, Mich.; and eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Odom Funeral Home, Culver.
Funeral service is Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with visitation one hour
before the service.
Burial will be at Culver Masonic.
Memorials may be made to Winamac Church of the Nazarene.
The Odom Funeral Home of Culver is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas M. White
ROCHESTER -- Thomas M. White, 75, of 2010 Ford Court Road Rochester, died Thursday,
Oct. 20, 2011 at Woodlawn Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Janet at home; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Presley of Brookville; son,
Thomas J. White of Macy; stepdaughters, Debbie (Mark) Tyler of Rochester, Karen Anderson of
Rochester and Tracy Anderson of Indianapolis; stepson, Doug (Angelina) Anderson of
Rochester; six grandchildren and five step grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren and six
step great-grandchildren; sister, Betty White of Howard County; and brother, Bill (Sharon) White
of Howard County.
A mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 in the St. Joseph Catholic
Church, 1310 Main St., Rochester. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 12:45 to 1:45
p.m. Monday in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St. Rochester. The rosary will be
recited at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Rochester IOOF cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Moose Heart or the American Cancer Association.

Bill Micheal 'Mike' Beliles
ROCHESTER -- Bill Micheal 'Mike' Beliles 63, of Rochester, died at Woodlawn Hospital at 4:05
p.m. Friday.
He is survived by his wife, Idella Louise Beliles at home; daughters, Brooke (Kevin) Waters of
Orlando, Fla., Laura (Christopher) Oginsky of Lapaz; and sons, Kevin (Susan) Beliles of
Hassfurt, Germany, Bill Micheal Beliles Jr. of Williamsburg, N.C., Hermon (Belinda) Beliles of
Rochester.
Funeral will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Good Family Funeral Home. Visitation is at 4
p.m. Wednesday.

William J. Collins
PLYMOUTH -- William J. 'Bill' Collins, 50, a resident of Downtown Garden Court, died at his
residence of natural causes at 12:49 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.
Surviving along with his mother, Luella M. (Hundt) Collins are his two daughters; Rebecca L. and
Angel M. Collins both of Plymouth; brothers, Randy L. Heckaman of Plymouth, Tom C. Collins of
Koontz Lake; and sister, Debra A. Geisleman of New Orleans, La.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral
Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth where services will begin at 7 p.m.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to the family.

Lester Hochstetler
BREMEN -- Lester Hochstetler, 79, of Bremen died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at the Community
Hospital of Bremen.
Survivors include wife, Bert Hochstetler of Bremen; brothers, Dale L. (Dee) Hochstetler of
Bremen, Howard (Leona) Hochstetler of Milford and Raymond (Sharon) Hochstetler Jr. of
Franklin, N.C.; and sister, Neva J. (Arlen) Slabaugh of Plymouth.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at the Mishler Funeral
Home, Bremen. Burial will follow at the South Union cemetery, Nappanee with military honors.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to Center for Hospice or to the Bremen Missionary Church.

Ann Klasnja
ROCHESTER -- Ann Klasnja, 92, of Rochester died Friday at 7:40 p.m. at Life Care Center of
Rochester.
She is survived by daughters, Diane Dodge of Rochester, Frances Ostrowski of Calumet City,
Ill., Helen Ruda of Garden Homes, Ill. and Georgene (Arthur) Draves of Rockford, Ill.; and sister,
Helen Price of East Side Chicago, Ill.
A private service will be held Tuesday at the Good Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at
Rochester’s IOOF cemetery.

Rosalie E. Lowry
CULVER -- Rosalie E. Lowry, 94, of Winona Lake, formerly of Culver, died Oct. 21, 2011 at
Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.
She is survived by a son, Mark (Sharon) Lowry of East Bernard, Texas; three daughters, Sally
(Richard) Large of Cordova, Tenn., Judy (Carl) Wagoner of Leesburg, Martha (Marston) McGwin
of Keokuk, Iowa; and 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Friday, Oct. 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Maxinkuckee IOOF cemetery/Poplar
Grove Church.
Memorials may be made to Poplar Grove Church. The Odom Funeral Home of Culver is
in charge of arrangements.

LaVerne "Bud" Rosenbaum
HANNA -- LaVerne 'Bud' Rosenbaum, 84, died Friday, Oct. 21, at LaPorte Hospital.
He is survived by his daughter, Susanne Knutsen of Hanna, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren;
his brother, Dan (Janet) Rosenbaum of LaPorte; and his sister, Karolyn Mills of
Hanna.
A funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Hanna at 2 p.m. CDT Wednesday, Oct.
26, with visitation one hour prior to the service. A graveside military service will be held at Hanna
cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions can be made to First Lutheran Church in
Hanna. Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, is handling arrangements.
