Kelly L. (Humphrey) Neirynck
PLYMOUTH -- Mrs. Kelly L. (Humphrey) Neirynck, 42, of Plymouth, died Friday May 7, 2010 at
La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Ind.
She was born June 16, 1967 in LaPorte, the daughter of Robert Humphrey and Nelda (Brown)
Humphrey.
Kelly was a secretary for the family owned trucking company. She was a member of Calvary
Baptist Church. Kelly loved shopping, cooking, and playing poker. She loved her grandchildren
and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Sept. 18, 2007 in Plymouth, she married Randall Neirynck, who survives.
She is also survived by her mother, Nelda Humphrey of LaPorte; a son, Roman Ruiz of LaPorte;
a daughter, Ashley Vargas of Plymouth; three grandchildren: Cruz Dominguez, Juliana
Dominguez, and Josue Dominguez; two stepsons, Randall Neirynck Jr. of Plymouth, and Ryan
Neirynck, both of Plymouth; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Neirynck of Mississippi; three brothers:
Charles Humphrey of Walkerton, Sherman Humphrey of Plymouth, and Robert Humphrey Jr. of
La Porte.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father, brother, and grandparents.
Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte where
the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 10 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday,
May 11 at the church.
Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, at 11 a.m. Tuesday May 11 with Curtis
Southwood officiating.
Interment will follow at the Tyner cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Amy Edith "Gail" Pohl
KNOX -- Amy Edith “Gail” Pohl, 40, of Knox, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at Starke Memorial
Hospital.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Howard of Knox; sons, James Howard of Plymouth and
Michael Howard of Portage; a daughter, Angela Gmurk of Knox, brothers, Frank Howard of Knox
and Steve Howard of Bremen; a sister, Sherry (John) Clemons of Knox; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel,
108 S. Main St., Knox.
Funeral services will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pauline E. Snyder
ARGOS -- Pauline E. Snyder, 86, of 424 E. Marshall St., Argos, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday, May
7, 2010, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Rochester, following a short illness.
She was born April 4, 1924 in Nappanee, to Lester and Edith (Fleck) Deisch and lived all her
adult life in the Argos community. She married Clarence G. Snyder May 14, 1943 at the
Plymouth United Methodist Church, Plymouth.
He preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1990.
She was a housewife and had worked as a waitress at Harvey’s Restaurant. She enjoyed sewing
and seamstress work, doing mending and alterations for many.
She attended the Argos United Methodist Church, Argos. She had been involved in the past with
Women of the Moose, Plymouth; Eastern Star; Rebecca Lodge; Walnut Extension
Homemakers Club; and was the past president of the Isaac Walton Auxiliary.
She is survived by daughters: Phyllis Jean (David) Shivers of Argos, Patsy Ann (Lee) Singery of
Inwood, and Ruth Kay Rinard of Argos; four grandchildren; one step grandchild; five great grandchildren;
three great-step grandchildren; sisters, Donna Wargon and Rose Mary Harter,
both of Goshen; and a brother, L. Jay Deisch of Huntertown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, two brothers and a grandchild.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday May 10 at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home,
208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday May 11, at the Argos United Methodist
Church, 540 N. Michigan St., Argos, with Rev. Ken Walker officiating.
Burial will take place at Maple Grove cemetery, Argos.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Argos United Methodist Church, 540 N. Michigan
St., Argos, IN, 46501.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.

Edward L. Brollier
BREMEN -- Edward L. Brollier, 91, of Bremen, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Clarian North
Medical Center, Carmel, Ind.
He is survived by his wife Juanita; daughters, Jean Kornack and Linda Story; four grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 10 at the Bremen Mausoleum Chapel.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen was entrusted with arrangements.

James D. Loe
PLYMOUTH -- James D. Loe, 78, of Plymouth, died Saturday morning, May 8, 2010 at his
home. He had been in failing health for the past month.
He was born Feb. 2, 1932 in Whitley County, Ind. a son of James E. and Sarah Jane Olive
(DeWitt) Loe. His formative years were spent in the Larwill area.
He was inducted into the U.S. Army March 26, 1953. He attained the rank of corporal and was
honorably discharged March 23, 1955. He returned to the Albion area.
Sept. 4, 1978 he was united in marriage to Donna Y. Keyser. They made their home in Larwill. In
1984, they moved to Plymouth.
He was employed at Gatke, Warsaw, for approximately six years and then Del Monte, Plymouth,
for 14 years until his medical disability retirement in 2005.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Donna; two sons, Tom Loe and Jeff (Becky) Loe, both of Fort
Wayne; two daughters, Cindy (Jerry) Norris, of Larwill, and Angie (David) Schubert of Tipp City,
Ohio; two stepsons, Ron (Gloria) Howard of Nappanee, and Michael (Tina) Bailey of Plymouth;
five stepdaughters: Cindy Bailey of Leesburg, Candy (John) Lampkins of Plymouth, Brenda
(David) Duncan of White Pigeon, Mich., Tina Hurley of Plymouth, and Melissa (Ron) Johnson of
Plymouth; nine grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a mother-inlaw,
Donnabelle Keyser of Plymouth.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Frank and Dale Loe; a sister,
Netha Walter; and stepdaughter, Peggy Hurley.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 at Smith & Sons Funeral Home,
Columbia City.
The burial will be in South Whitley cemetery.
The visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to Final Expenses, c/o Smith and Sons Funeral Home.

Jan Mikel
GOSHEN -- Jan Mikel, 57, of Goshen, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at her residence, after an
extended illness.
She is survived by her husband Dennis; son Todd (Dawn) Mikel of New Paris; daughter, Trisha
(Jeremy) Martin of Goshen; four grandchildren; her mother, Glee McDonald of Nappanee; and a
brother, Larry Dean (Kay) McDonald of Milford.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder
Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12 at the First Church of God,
Nappanee.
Burial will follow at Union Center cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Loveway.

Victor "Vic" Roden
KOONTZ LAKE -- Victor “Vic” Roden, 66, of Koontz Lake, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, at St.
Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.
He is survived by his children: Butch (Myra) Wheeler, Janet (Dan) Matusiak, Joann (Barry) Heim,
and Bonnie (Noel) Milzarek; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. (EDT) Wednesday, May 12 and one hour prior to
services Thursday at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at the funeral chapel.
Burial will take place at the Grovertown cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Neil E. "Gene" Bradley
PLYMOUTH -- Neil E."Gene" Bradley, age 76, of 625 Oakhill Avenue, Plymouth, passed away
at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Miller's Merry Manor Assisted Living in Plymouth.
Neil was born July 25, 1933, in LaPaz, to Ellsworth C. and Evelyn B. (Wright) Bradley. Neil had
been a resident of the Marshall County area his entire life, spending many winters in Florida.
He was a lifetime member of the Marshall County Historical Society, giving many gifts and
collectibles to the museum, and a charter member of the Marshall County Pioneer Society. He
retired in 1988, as a United States Postal Worker, after 33 years of service.
He was a member of Chapter 288 of National Active and Retired Federal Employees, in Sebring,
Fla.
Neil proudly served his country in the United States Army for six years, and during the Korean
War.
Neil is survived by his three sons: Robert P. Bradley, John C. and Shawn Bradley, and James E.
and Angie Bradley, all of Plymouth; his daughter, Dawn M. Bradley of Plymouth; five
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his brother, Stan and
Neva Bradley of Florida.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Terri; his brother, Conrad; and his
sister, Judith.

Eldon Devon Hartzell
NAPPANEE -- Eldon Devon Hartzell, 83, of Nappanee, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010
at Woodland Manor, Elkhart.
He is survived by is wife Mary Alice; a son, Richard (Theresa) Hartzell of Nappanee; daughters,
Joyce (Charles) Shirley of Lakeville and Sharon (Marvin) Eversdyke of Milford, Penn.; sisters:
Jean (Jim) Gall of Leesburg, Ilah (Donald)Fisher of Bourbon and Donna (Wendell) Davidhizar
Fisher of Wakarusa; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 and one hour prior to services
Thursday at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 13 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Hepton Union cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hepton Union Church.

Delores Ann (Guyse) Hollar
LOGANSPORT -- Delores Ann (Guyse) Hollar, 75, of 332 Grove St., Logansport, died at 8:51
a.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Howard Regional Health Systems, Kokomo, following a illness.
She was born June 11, 1934 in Kewanna, to Newton Henry Rude and Geneva Cyrena (DePoy)
Rude. She spent the last two years in Logansport, and had lived in the Argos community since
1969.
Dec. 24, 1982 in Argos, she married Richard A. Hollar. He preceded her in death March 25,
2009. Nov. 11, 1950 she married Thomas L. Guyse. He preceded her in death May 5, 1997.
Delores was a housewife and had worked as a waitress at several restaurants including The
Oaks and Holiday Inn, both of Plymouth. She was a member of The Church of Christ, Plymouth;
past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Argos.
She had been involved with American Boy Scouts Pack #212; and bowled for many years at
Quick’s Bowling lane in the Housewife Bowling League.
She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Bleicher of Logansport; sons, Michael L. Guyse and wife
Mary of Syracuse, and Kenneth W. Guyse and wife Linda of Argos; seven grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; a sister, Leona Good of Rochester; and brothers, Lawrence Rude and wife
Gladys of Logansport, and Newton Rude Jr. and wife Ruth of Lebanon, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, three brothers, and a sister.
Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at the Earl Grossman
Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Scott
Meneely of the Kewanna Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will take place at Maple Grove cemetery, Argos.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle,
Chicago, IL, 60674.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.

Charles R., Sr. Kline
BREMEN -- Charles R. Kline Sr., 87, of Bremen, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Rivercrest
Specialty Hospital, Mishawaka.
He is survived by daughters, Barbara (Dan) Grimmer of South Bend and Kathy Kline of
Plymouth; a son, John (Yvonne) Kline of South Bend; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren;
siblings, Thelma James of Three Rivers, Mich., Warren (Carolyn) Kline of Wyatt,
Patsy (Dewey) Vanlue of Mishawaka, Carol Zarembka of New Carlisle, Mikael Kline of LaPorte,
Grover (Verna) Kline of Marshall, Ariz., and Ramona (Dick) Maxwell of Dayton, Ohio.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030
S.R. 331, Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes
Association or the American Cancer Society.
