ROCHESTER -- Jack W. Holse, 84, of Rochester, died at 6:25 p.m. Dec. 24, 2010 at Kosciusko
Community Hospital in Warsaw.
He is survived by his daughters, Susie Holse and Debbie Clark, both of Rochester; a son, Todd
Clark of Columbia City; a brother, Bob (Beverly) Holse of Auburn; and brother-in-law, Bill (Fran)
Miller of Rochester.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 and an hour prior to services
Thursday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th Street Rochester.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Plainview cemetery, Macy.

Jean Ann (Brollier) Kornack
CARMEL -- Jean Ann (Brollier) Kornack, 73, of Carmel, formerly of Bremen, died Dec. 24, 2010
at St. Vincent Seton Hospital, Indianapolis.
She is survived by her mother, Juanita Brollier of Carmel; son, Scott E. Kornack of Frisco,
Texas; daughter, Debra (Harlan) Kauffman of Carmel; two grandchildren; and a sister, Linda
(Tony) Story of Hurricane Mills, Tenn.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Mishler Funeral Home,
2030 S.R. #331, Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Bremen cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospital of Bremen.

Roy D. Trump
BREMEN — Roy D. Trump, 3590 King Road, Bremen, died of natural causes at his residence at 1:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009. Roy was 86-years-old.
A lifelong resident of Marshall County, Roy was born in Bremen March 30, 1923, the son of Orville H. and Ada Way Trump.
He was a graduate of LaPaz High School.
On March 10, 1946, at their home on Oak Road, Roy and Nina M. Shafer were married .
A construction worker, for 25 years Roy worked for Moriarty Builders which was bought out by Wickes. After Wickes he went on to work for the Glenmark Industries in Plymouth.
He loved farming and helping other farmers. He loved to sing and work in the yard. He sang in a church quartet and was a director of music at the Shiloh Wesleyan Church, where he was a dedicated lifetime member.
Roy enjoyed bowling in the church bowling league.
Roy is survived by, Nina, his loving spouse of nearly 64 years and by their four children. They are two sons, Larry and Diana Trump, South Bend: and Les and Jackie Trump, Plymouth, and two daughters, Mary Ann and George Troyer, Mocksville, N.C. and Paula and Henry Tibbs, Plymouth.
Two brothers, Allen and Mary Ellen Trump, Argos, and Ross and Norma Trump, North Manchester, also survive, together with 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Norma and Don LaBere.
Roy’s family will be happy to receive friends to celebrate Roy’s life Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson–Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, and will continue for one hour prior to services on Tuesday in the church.
Funeral services for Roy will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Shiloh Wesleyan Church, 10532 4B Road. Pastor John Perkinson will officiate.
Burial will be in New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial contribution’s in Roy’s name may be given to The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 112 S. Center St., Suite C, Plymouth, IN 46563 or The Shiloh Wesleyan Church at 10532 4B Road, Plymouth, IN 46563.

Wayne F. Chipman
BLOOMINGTON — Wayne F. Chipman, 80, of Bloomington, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at Bloomington Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Betty Thacker Chipman; daughters: Sherry (Forrest) Schinbeckler of Plymouth, Jill (Terry) Sparks of Bloomington, Judy (Keith) Morran of Bloomington, and Julie (Lynn) Romas of Brazil; a son, Jim (Kate) Thacker of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Betty G. Baker of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation took place from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3 at Day Funeral Home, Bloomington.
Funeral services took place at 11 a.m. at United Presbyterian Church, Bloomington.
Burial followed at Vallhalla Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Presbyterian Church, Bloomington.

Beatrice E. (Steiner) Faulkner
PLYMOUTH — Beatrice E. Faulkner (Steiner), 90, of Plymouth, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at her daughter’s home in Niles, Mich.
She is survived by a daughter: Mary Ann (Walter) McLaughlin of Niles, Mich.; and two grandchildren, a sister and a brother.
Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services are Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Sandridge cemetery, Bourbon.
Memorials in Bee’s memory may be made to Hospice at Home, Inc., 4017 Chamberlain Road, Buchanan, MI 49107.

Elizabeth H. Moreau
WALKERTON -- Elizabeth “Liz” H. Moreau, 90, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 in LaPorte Hospital.
She is survived by daughters, Paula Gierlowski of Grovertown and Denise Lloyd of LaPorte; a
son, Robert Moreau of LaPorte; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great
grandchildren; and sisters, Martha Davis of Noblesville and Joan Peltier of Williamsburg, Va.
Visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. (ET) Wednesday, Dec. 29 at St. Patrick’s Church of
Walkerton.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Burial will take place at a later date at Pine Lake cemetery, LaPorte.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.

M. Wayne Senter
INDIANAPOLIS -- M. Wayne Senter 85, of Speedway, passed away, Dec. 24, 2010, in Indianapolis.
He was retired from DuPont. He was a 1943 graduate of Speedway High School. He was an
Army veteran of WWII.
He was a member of Speedway Christian Church, Friends of the Speedway Library and a
Scoutmaster of three area troops. He was also a volunteer at Sharing Place West and a Charter
Member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lu Senter; children: Carol (Terry) Quillman, Mark (Leanne) Senter and
Lisa Martin, grandchildren; Elizabeth, Amy, Tyler, Jessica, Clayton, Riley and Megan, six great grandchildren
and brother, Louis (Peggy) Senter.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral CenterSpeedway.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the funeral center.
Burial will follow at West Ridge Park cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Friends of the Speedway Library.

Pinkey Carlton “Carl” Shaw
NAPPANEE -- Pinkey Carlton “Carl” Shaw died at 10:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 at Miller’s
Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
He is survived by a son, Russ (Jenny) Shaw of Nappanee; stepdaughter, Sharon Nunemaker of
Nappanee; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers: Bob Shaw of Nappanee,
Oscar Shaw of Vernon, Fla., Lester Shaw of Dallas, Texas, Edward Shaw of DeLand, Fla. And
Don Shaw of DeLand, Fla.; sisters: Mildred Peterson of Emporia, Fla., Katie Jo Kay of Warsaw,
and Diane Ness of Poland, Ind.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder
Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Union Center cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley Hospital for Children or Calvary Baptist Church.

Edith M. Jordan
WALKERTON -- Edith M. Jordan, 88, of Wyatt, died Dec. 25, 2010 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Walkerton.
She is survived by her children: Richard (Karen) Jordan of South Bend, Robert Jordan of Wyatt,
Thomas (Rita) Jordan of Mishawaka, James (Luci) Jordan of Woodland, and Janet (Rick) Moore
of Petosky, Mich.; sisters: Jean Van Bellingham of Baron Lake, Mich., Elizabeth McGowan of
South Dakota, Betty Gember of Three Oaks, Mich., and Carol Stevens of Ponte Vedra Beach,
Fla.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030
S.R. #331, Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 at St. John United Church of Christ,
Woodland. Burial will follow at St. John cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John United Church of Christ or the VFW Post #8972, Bremen.

Mildred I. Bowers
WALKERTON -- Mildred I. Bowers, 84, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Walkerton.
Survivors include daughters, Ramona Paetzold and Teri Hostetler and son, Daryl Bowers.
There will be no services or visitation.
Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is handling arrangements.

Jeffrey S. Froehling
ARGOS -- Jeffery S. Froehling 53, of Argos, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at
Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
He is survived by his sons, Shawn Froehling of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Christofer Froehling of
Valparaiso; a granddaughter; brother, Robert Froehling of Wood River, Ill.; and sisters: Katy
Beam of Star City, Ellen Taylor of Hebron, Judy Dinkleman of Phoenix, Ariz., Bobbie Giesler of
Phoenix, Ariz., Marie Cannon of Kouts, and Johanna Stayton of Argos.
No services will be observed.
Arrangements were entrusted to Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.

Doris Downey
PLYMOUTH -- Doris Downey, 87, a former Plymouth resident, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Dec.
27, 2010, at Westford House in Westford, Mass.
Doris was born Feb. 22, 1923 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Ruby Dann Martin.
She graduated from high school in Indianola, Iowa.
March 21, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Doris became the bride of Doyle Downey. Doyle
preceded her in death in 1984.
A homemaker, she had also worked as a cashier at Dave and Ray’s Supermarket for several
years. For many years, she and Doyle wintered in Florida. Doris enjoyed crafts, quilting and
making jewelry.
A music lover with a beautiful voice, she sang in the choir at Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist
Church and enjoyed playing the piano at home.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Dennis) Alitz of Chelmsford, Mass. And Peggy (James)
Metz of Plymouth; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyle; and a son, William E. “Bill” Downey.
Friends are invited to share memories with Doris’ family Thursday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Jim Irwin of the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist
Church, will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7.
Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Walkerton.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 601 W. Edison Road Mishawaka, IN, 46545.
