Linda Mae Dickson
KNOX — Linda Mae Dickson, 62, passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 in her home.
She was born March 7, 1947 in Knox to Lowell and Florence (Beem) Bradley and lived in the
area all of her life. On Feb. 26, 1966 in Hamlet, she was married to Richard Dickson, who
survives. Also surviving are two sons: Richard (Kim) Dickson of Winamac and Randy Dickson of
Knox; two grandchildren: Baleigh and Brandon; four sisters: Marilyn (David) Hays, Shirley
(Robert) Troyer and Rita (Dave) Harley, all of Knox and Carol (Dean) Fasel of San Pierre.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth Bradley.
Mrs. Dickson was a member of the Eagle Creek Church of Knox. She was a former instructor of
cosmetology at Knox Beauty College. She was a livestock auction clerk at many area sale
barns, including Stoney Pike and most recently, at Rochester. She was also a former Home
Health Care employee at Starke Memorial Hospital in Knox.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. (Central Time) at Eagle Creek Church of Knox with
Rev. Ed Hasnerl officiating. Burial will be at the Eagle Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the
church Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT and Tuesday after 10 a.m.until the time of services.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society. Rannells Funeral Home,
Hamlet Chapel is handling arrangements.

Carla S. Enders
BREMEN — Carla S. Enders, 61, of Bremen, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Center for Hospice
and Palliative Care. She was born Nov. 13, 1947 in Bremen to Clyde and Fern (Klingerman) Sanborn.
Carla graduated from Bremen High School in 1965. She was an administrative assistant for
Bremen Wire (DLS) for 23 years, Bremen Castings for six years and she also worked at Sue's
Auction Service in Lakeville for six years.
She is survived by her parents, Clyde and Fern Sanborn of Bremen; son, Seth (Keri) Enders of
Plymouth; five grandchildren: Jordan and Jensyn Enders, Llene, Rylee and Evan Enders; and
three sisters: Wanda (Dave) Lattimer of Argos, Sandra Manooses of Bloomfield and Jo Lovette
of White Pigeon, Mich.
She was preceded in death by one son, Dane; and two brothers: Roger and Tim Sanborn.
Visitation is Sunday, March 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Services
are Monday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Rohde officiating. Burial
will be at Bremen cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Marshall County.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert Flaugher
WALKERTON — Robert Flaugher, 78, died Friday, March 27, 2009 in LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, Ind.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; one daughter, Kathy Ganser of Walkerton; two sons: Michael
(Marie) Flaugher of Hubbard, Ohio and Damon (Robin) Flaugher of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: William (Alice) Flaugher of Grovertown
and Richard (Mary) Flaugher of Huntsville, Ala.
Visitation will take place Saturday, April 4 at 10 a.m. (Eastern Time)until the time of services at
Walkerton United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at the Woodlawn cemetery, Walkerton, following the
service, where military graveside services will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is handling arrangements.

Linkin Jet Fornelli
KNOX — Linkin Jet Fornelli, stillborn son of Keith and Jessica (Quivey) Fornelli of Knox, died
Friday, March 27, 2009.
He is survived by a sister, Jordyce Fornelli; maternal grandparents, Jan Quivey (Gerri) of
Plymouth and Cindy Quivey of Knox; and paternal grandparents Rick and Betty Fornelli of Knox.
Private graveside services were held Wednesday, April 1 at Round Lake cemetery.
M.C. Smith Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Warren Eugene "Gene" Montague
AKRON — Warren Eugene "Gene" Montague, 68, of north Maple Street, Akron, Ind., died
Friday, March 27, 2009 at 9:50 p.m. at his home.
He is survived by his wife Judy; two daughters: Tammy (James) Bowser of Nappanee and Tina
(Tim) Alspaugh of Akron; two sons: Roger (Scarlet) Montague of Akron and Richard Montague
of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters: Nila (Gene) Davis of Texas and Phyllis Trentham of Texas; two
brothers: Neil (Dori) Montague of Bremen and Tom Montague of Schererville, Ind.; 11
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hartzler Funeral Home,
305 W. Rochester. St. Akron, Ind.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Akron cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of Fulton County.

Ocie Mann
PLYMOUTH — Ocie Mann, 46, of Plymouth, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at home.
He is survived by daughter Shannon Mann of Culver; son Chadwick Mann of Culver; sisters
Sandra Bailey of North Judson, Freda Craft of Nashville, Tenn., Janice Rose of Culver, Kim Alva
of North Judson and brothers William Rowe of Lakeside, Calif. And Robert Mann of Nashville,
Tenn., as well as one grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. (CDT) Thursday, April 2, at Denham Freewill Baptist
Church in Denham, Ind.
Burial will take place at Hoosier cemetery.

Frances Marie (Anderson) Earle
WARSAW — Frances Marie (Anderson) Earle, 78, of Warsaw, died Sunday, March 29, 2009 at
Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, at 12:55 p.m.
She was born Nov. 29, 1930 in Louisville, Ky. To John Edward and Elnora R. (Lashley)
Anderson. She lived in North Manchester and Warsaw since 1941 and married Ray Eugene
Earle Oct. 20, 1946 in North Manchester.
Earle worked at Alfran and Mason Nursing Home as a nurse's aide and was a member of the
MelloAires singing group, Warsaw Senior Center and the KCH Senior Club.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Hack; three infant brothers; a niece, Janet Kay
Bolton and a nephew, Robert Eugene Bolton.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Earle; daughters: Gloria Jean (Ron) Wigent of Michigan
City, Donna Marie (Bert) Goble of Winona Lake and Linda Ruth Lent of Atwood; son, Wesley
Howard Earle of Spartanburg, S.C.; a sister, Carolyn (Robert) Bolton of Louisville, Ky.; 13
grandchildren; one great-grandson; two nieces: Patsy and Linda Bryant and one nephew, Bobby
Joe Bolton. Frances will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, 2290
Provident Ct. Warsaw, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will take place Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Palestine cemetery, Palestine, Ind..

Beverly Ann Jeffirs
PLYMOUTH — Beverly Ann Jeffirs, 74, died Sunday evening, March 29, 2009, at St. Joseph
Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Beverly was born October 28, 1934, in Tacoma, Wash. to Walter T. and Margaret C. (Brunner)
Corrigan. After attending Tacoma Public Schools, she completed three years of study at
Washington State College. In 1984 she graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a
bachelor’s degree in General Studies.
On October 20, 1956, Beverly and Michael J. Jeffirs were married at St. John of the Woods
Catholic Church in Tacoma, Wash. Michael and Beverly made their home in Plymouth where
Beverly was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Jeffirs Motor, Inc. from 1956 to 1977. In 1977
she became part-owner and bookkeeper for M.J. Package Store in Walkerton, Ind. Beverly also
worked full-time as a computer operator for the accounting firm of McQueen and Boyer in
Plymouth until she retired in 1999. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and other
service organizations including AARP 5062, Harvest House, Marshall County Older Adult
Services Board, Marshall County Historical Society, Marshall County Genealogical Society, and
Habitat for Humanity. Beverly was a loving, gentle person who will be sadly missed by her family
and all who knew her.
Bev’s proudest achievement was the raising of her and Mike’s 12 children: Marlene (Rick)
Minker of Hamlet, Michael W. Jeffirs of Greenwood, Dana (Brian) Corrigan of Westlake, Ohio,
Mark (Carol) Jeffirs of Argos, Gregory Jeffirs of Plymouth, Christine (Bob) Greig of Northville,
Mich., Stephen (Pam) Jeffirs, deceased, Douglas (Stephanie) Jeffirs of Aurora, Il., Kent (Calliopi)
Jeffirs of Crown Point, Janis (Mark) Holiday of Plymouth, Laura (Jim) Kruyer of Plymouth, and
Matthew Jeffirs of Lawrenceville, Ga.
She is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Marlene
Poor of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., one sister-in-law, Rita Jeffirs of Park Forest, Ill. and five nieces and
nephews.
Two brothers, Thomas and Patrick Corrigan, preceded her in death.
Friends may pay their respects at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St.
Plymouth on Wednesday, April 1 from 3 – 8 p.m. where a Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2 in St. Michael Catholic Church, 613 N.
Center St., Plymouth with pastor Fr. William Kummer as the celebrant.
Preferred memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church or Marshall
County Community Foundation – St. Michael School, Tuition Assistance Fund or to a charity or
organization of the donor’s choice.

Donna M. Stayton
PLYMOUTH — Donna M. Stayton, 74, of W. 13th Road, Plymouth, passed away Sunday, March
29, 2009, at 2:48 a.m. in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center of South Bend.
Donna was born October 28, 1934, in Fulton County, Indiana, to Donald and MaryJane
(Woolington) Wallace. Donna and Lynn Stayton were married in Parker, Arizona, on November
27, 1968. They lived in California before moving to Plymouth in 1979.
Donna worked at Wagner Electric for several years. She loved to crochet, go fishing, bowl, and
especially enjoyed baby sitting for the children of her family and friends.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Stayton; her daughter, Tena Lade of Plymouth;
her sons, Billy Himes and Terry Wallace; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services, for Donna, will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the VAN
GILDER FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. George Shoemaker officiating.
Friends and family may visit Thursday, April 2, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to the time of service at 1
p.m. at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society, 601
W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN, 46545 or to the Marshall County Humane Society at P.O. Box
22, Plymouth, IN 46563.

Marjorie Fisher Buswell
Lakeview, Ark. — Marjorie Fisher Buswell, 82, of Lakeview, Ark. died Monday, March 30, 2009
at 10 a.m. at Gassville Nursing Center, Gassville, Ark.
She was born Nov. 16, 1926 in Tippecanoe to Charles and Donnis (Smith) Fisher. She moved to
Lakeview, Ark. in 2000 from Walkerton.
She married Jack Buswell on Nov. 26, 1949 in Culver.
She worked as a clerk for a pharmacy and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary
#0189 of Walkerton.
Survivors include her daughter, Marsha (John) Meissner of Lakeview, Ark.; sons, John Steven
Buswell of Lancaster, Penn.; Garry A. Buswell of Mishawaka; Charles Wayne (Barbara) Buswell
of El Paso, Ill. and grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Liam Meissner, as well as her sisters, Lena
Copeland of Bourbon; and Dorothy (Bob) Town of Bluffton, Ohio.
She was preceded in feath by her parents and her husband.
Friends may visit with the family Friday, April 3, from 6 to 8 pm at the Earl-Grossman Funeral
Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at the funeral home with Larrie Kreft officiating.
Burial will take place at the Culver Masonic cemetery, Culver.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation; Northern Indiana Branch; P.O.
Box 8345 South Bend, IN 46600.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
