ELKHART — Terry Leon Telgenhoff, 58, of Elkhart, died at 2: 23 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at
Hospice House of South Bend.
He is survived by a sister, Diane (Charles) Martin of Bourbon; and brothers: Irwin Telgenhoff of
Elkhart and Jimmy Hopper of Niles, Mich.
There will be no viewing or funeral. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m.
at the United Pentecostal Church in Bourbon. Cremation will take place.
Memorials may be made to ADEC or Hospice House of South Bend.
Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert R. Riewoldt
ROCHESTER — Robert R. Riewoldt, 77, of Rochester, died Wednesday, May 7 at his home.
He is survived by two duaghters: Melissa Hulvey of Texas City, Texas and Beverly K. and Jerry
Reynolds of Logansport; sons: James Matthew and Janet Riewoldt of Etna Green, Robert C.
Riewoldt of Warsaw, Patric T. and Lisa Riewoldt of Bourbon, Jon Riewoldt of Warsaw and David
L. and Cathy Ginther of Rochester; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one sister.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at Good Family
Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Rochester IOOF cemetery.

Phyllis L. Stuhlmacher
KANSAS CITY, MO — Phyllis L. Stuhlmacher, 83, of Kansas City, Mo., died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Plaza Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth and Robert Pasley of Texas; sister (Ellen) Jeanne and Howard Bauman of Plymouth and brother James M. Fall of Arizona.
Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.

Marjorie R. Pett
PLYMOUTH – Marjorie R. Pett, 87, a former resident of Plymouth, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Grove Nursing Center, Grove, Okla.
Born in Pierceton, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Voyal and Ruth (Phillips) Harris. She married Richard E. “Dick” Pett, Sr. in 1994. He preceded her in death in 1994 after 50 years of marriage.
Marjorie enjoyed working for the Plymouth school system as a cafeteria cook for many years.
She was a member of the Plymouth First United Methodist Church and the Tyra Constance Guild.
Marjorie is survived by sons, Richard E. Jr. “Gene” (Marcia) Pett, of Grove, Okla. and Douglas (Sandra Sims) Pett of Fort Wayne, Ind.
A grandson, Scot (Joelle) Pett, great-grandson, Jordon Pett of Troy, Mich. and granddaughter, Dawn Allison Pett, Arlington Heights, Ill., also survive.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Voyal and Maurice Harris.
Friends are invited to celebrate the life of Marjorie Pett with her family from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008, and after 7 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services for Marjorie will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Dean Fager, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts in Marjorie’s memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Plymouth or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Harold Dwight Clemans
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Harold Dwight Clemans, 86, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.,
formerly of Rochester, died at 2: 30 p.m. Friday, May 9 at home.
He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Carbia of West Palm Beach, Fla.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16 at the Rochester IOOF cemetery.
Graveside military rites will be conducted by the LeRoy Shelton American Legion and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Good
Family Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of the arrangements.

Romie F. Voreis
CULVER — Romie F. Voreis, 92, of 11995 East 250 South, Culver, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 8: 05 p.m. at the Hospice House in South Bend.
He was born July 7, 1915 in Burr Oak to Jessie and Alma (Working) Voreis.
Romie worked at Allis-Chalmers in LaPorte for 30 years.
Romie and Alzina Lucille Troyer were married on July 23, 1933. She passed away on Oct. 19,
1988. Romie and Virginia Lechlitner were married on June 23, 1990. They enjoyed spending
time in Florida during the winter time. Romie loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing,
and nature. He served his country in the United States Navy.
Romie is survived by his wife, Virginia; his sons: Kenneth and Gaynelle Voreis of Vermillion,
Ohio and William and Linda Voreis of Bear Lake, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; his step-daughters
Pat and Everett Feece of Plymouth and Bonnie and David Winrotte of Plymouth; four stepgrandchildren;
nine step-great-grandchildren, and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Romie was preceded in death by his first wife, Alzina; his daughter, Katherine; two infant sons;
his grandson, Chris; two sisters; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral
Home, in Plymouth, with Chaplin Thomas Padberg officiating. Burial will be in Burr Oak
cemetery, Burr Oak.
Friends and family may visit with the Voreis family Wednesday, May 14, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 2
p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth.
The Voreis Family would like for memorial contributions to be given to the Center for Hospice
and Palliative Care, 112 South Center Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.

Waneta Young
BREMEN — Waneta J. Young, 81, of Nappanee, died Saturday, May 10 at 7 a.m. at Bremen
Health Care following an illness.
She is survived by eight daughters: Donna (Lowell) Price of Plymouth, Betty Bowling of
Nappanee, Carol (Keenan) Wynn of South Bend, Mary L. (Bowling Jr.) Nethercutt of Mishawaka,
Karen (Roy) Bowling of Plymouth, Nancy Morris of Goshen, Patty (Ron) Yeutsey of LaGrange,
Jessie Choquette of Elkhart; five sons: Ralph (Mary) Young of Lapaz, Clifford (Jacque) Young of
Tippecanoe, Roger Young of Nappanee, Donald (Tabitha) Young of Plymouth and Rich YoungNusbaum
of South Bend; 39 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Monday, May 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Thompson - Lengacher Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place Tuesday, May 13 at 10: 30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association.

Fredrick Lynn Young
BOURBON — Fredrick Lynn Young, 42, of Bourbon and Wawaka, Ind., died of natural causes at
10: 44 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Born in Plymouth, Ind., on May 16, 1965, Fred was the son of Danny Young and Naomi (Pickerl) Young.
Fred attended the JESSE program at Argos High School. He was employed at the Foundations
Center in Albion, Ind.
He enjoyed summer camp at Epworth Forest, traveling with his family, music, his daily walks,
bowling and most of all, being around people. Some of Fred’s favorite music included anything
classical, such as “The Sound of Music” and “Oklahoma”, the jam session at Grace Village and
the Masterworks Festival in Winona Lake every summer.
For the last six years, Fred walked the Mackinac Bridge over Labor Day weekend.
Fred recently shared in the excitement of the Triton Boys Basketball State Championship.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Fred is survived by his mother, Naomi R. Young of Bourbon and Wawaka; a sister, Carman
Young of Fort Wayne and a brother, Greg (B.J.) Young of Locust Grove, Ga.; an aunt, Hattie
Bierly of Atwood; an uncle, Dwight Pickerl of Indianapolis and cousins.
Friends are invited to celebrate Fred’s life with his family Wednesday, May 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at
the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services for Fred will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 15, in the funeral home. The Rev.
Mark Day, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Bourbon, where Fred attended, will officiate.
Burial will be in New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial contribution to the Food Pantry at
the United Methodist Church in Bourbon, or the Masterworks Festival
(www.masterworksfestival.org).

Betty L. Dinkledine
DADE CITY, Fla. — Betty L. Dinkledine, 82, of Dade City, Fla., formerly of Elkhart, died at 10: 25
p.m. Sunday, May 11 at home.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Dinkledine of Dade City, Fla.; daughters: Jill (Dennis)
Hendrix of Elkhart and Nancy (Douglas) Weber of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; son, Thomas (Susan)
Dinkledine of Russiaville; seven grandchildren; and brother, Carl (Martina) Brock of Titusville, Fla.
Visitation is Friday, May 16 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral
Home, Elkhart. Funeral services are Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Bethel United Methodist
Church, Elkhart. Burial will be at the Bremen cemetery Saturday at 2 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church.

John E. Patterson
BOURBON — John E. Patterson, 73, of 803 N. Thompson St., Bourbon, passed away Sunday,
May 11, 2008 at 11: 30 p.m. in Goshen General Hospital. He had been in failing health.
John was born the son of Damen Dale Patterson and Ruby Swartzell Patterson June 1, 1934 in
White County, Indiana. He was a resident of Bourbon since early childhood.
He retired from Biomet Inc. of Warsaw as a shipping clerk. He had also worked at Bendix
Corporation and Orthopedic Equipment Company. He graduated from Bourbon High School in
the class of 1952.
He was married July 3, 1963 to Barbara Quaney who survives along with their two daughters:
Sharon (Michael) Howell of Milford and Samantha (Charles) Howard of Silver Lake. He was also
blessed with four grandchildren: Ean Howard, Aric Howard, Chase Howell and Ethan Howell.
Four sisters also survive: Marilyn Klann of New Buffalo, Mich., Eleanor (Edward) Gammill of
South Bend, Rita (Charles) Hyde of Etna Green and Carol Bennett of Bremen; three brothers:
William (Patricia) Patterson of Mishawaka, Robert (Leslie) Patterson of Lagro, and Roger
(Janice) Patterson of Bremen.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: June Stayton and Joyce Patterson.
John a faithful member of the First United Church of Christ in Bourbon. He loved gardening,
sports of all kinds and was an umpire for softball games. John was also noted for his dedication
as a Assistant Campfire Leader for more than 20 years.
John served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the
Bourbon American Legion Post #424.
A funeral service to celebrate John’s life will be held Friday, May 16 at 10: 30 a.m. in First United
Church of Christ with Rev. Linda Hewitt officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the First United Church of Christ on
North Main Street.
Burial will follow in Summit Chapel cemetery at Bourbon with Military Honors.
The family requests any memorial contributions be made to First United Church of Christ in his memory.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Marie L. Stull
Marie L. Stull 83, formerly of Plymouth, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008, in Thunderbird
Valley Hospice, Phoenix, Ariz.
Marie was born in Battle Creek, Mich., on Sept. 18, 1924, to James N. and Gladys M. (Bennett)
Crippen. She was previously married to Harlan Stull of LaGrange, who passed away on Jan. 1, 2004.
She is survived by her son, Devon (Susie) Stull of Plymouth; her daughter, Dawn (Carl) Migura
of Victoria, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Harlan Stull; her daughter, Joyce (Stull) Moser; her brother, Delton Crippen; and
her sisters, Dorothy Kline, Vivian Milton, and Fairy Shoemaker.
A memorial service will he held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the Van Gilder Funeral
Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service,
at Van Gilder Funeral Home.
Interment services will be private.

324 North Kingston Road, Plymouth, IN 46563.

Richard A. Binkley
BREMEN — Richard A. Binkley, 60, of Bremen, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008, at Saint
Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend. He was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Plymouth, to
Lester and Phyllis (Menser) Binkley.
On March 28, 1970, he married Becky Kuntz. She survives.
He lived in Bourbon and Bremen. After the Navy, he was an operating engineer with Rieth-Riley.
Richard then became a teacher for John Glenn School Corporation, retiring in 2006 after 29
years. He was a 1965 graduate of Triton High School and received his Bachelors and Masters
degrees in education from IUSB. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving three years on the USS
Intrepid. Richard was also a member of the Bremen Church of God and the Bremen VFW. He
enjoyed his granddaughter Macie, riding his Honda Gold Wing, coaching and following his son’s
baseball/men’s fast pitch softball career.
Survivors include his wife, Becky of Bremen; one son: Adam (Leah) Binkley of Bremen; one
granddaughter, Macie Binkley of Bremen; and his mother, Phyllis Binkley of Bourbon.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008, at the Bremen Church of God, 5040
1st Road, Bremen. Pastor Jaree Kratzer will officiate. Military graveside services will take place
at the Bremen cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Mishler
Funeral Home in Bremen.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Community Hospital of
Bremen or Bremen Little League.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

Audrey Leslie Eppert
BREMEN — Audrey Leslie Eppert, 66, of Bremen, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Bremen
Health Care Center.
Survivors include daughter, Karen (Pavo) Kent of Bremen; three grandsons; sister, Debbie
(Robert) Eppert of LaPaz; and brothers: Michael (Pam) Markley of Bremen and Terry (Sarah)
Bagley of Plymouth.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to The ASPCA (ASPCA
Tributes, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018) or Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005
LBJ Fwy., Ste. 250 Dallas, TX 75244.
The Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Helen Holloway
PLYMOUTH — Helen Holloway, 79, of Plymouth, died Monday, May 12, 2008 at Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Holloway of Plymouth; sons: Thomas Holloway of Myers
Lake and Dennis Holloway of Rochester; and brother-in-law, Lowell Holloway of Arizona.
Visitation is Friday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home,
Plymouth. Funeral services are Friday, May 16 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.Burial will be at
New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.
