Jack A. Harman
PLYMOUTH — Jack A. Harman, 89, died of natural causes at 4: 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11,
2008, at Miller s Merry Manor, Plymouth. He had moved to Plymouth in 1929 when he was 10 years old.
His favorite activity was being with his family.
Jack was born on Sept. 4, 1919, in Garrett, Ind., the son of Mont H. and Helen I. Wood Harman.
He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1938.
On June 15, 1941, in Plymouth, Jack and Helen L. Lee were married . Helen died on March 23,
1978. He served his country as a Pfc. in the United States Army during World War II. He worked
at Bendix in South Bend for 14.5 years and as a purchaser with DelMonte in Plymouth for 14
years, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the Plymouth Kilwinning Masonic
Lodge 149, F&AM, the Scottish Rite of St. Joseph Valley, the V.F.W., Post 1162 and the Moose
Family Lodge, #741.
Jack is survived by two sons: Terry L. (Sherry) Harman and Herbert E. (Ann) Harman, all of
Plymouth; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a sister, Mary Webster.
Friends are invited to celebrate the life of Jack Harman on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind.
A Masonic service will be held at 12: 30 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home.
Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Kerry O Brien, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church,
will follow the Masonic service at 1 p.m.
Military honors by the Plymouth American Legion Post 27 and the Plymouth V.F.W. Post 1162,
will be conducted graveside in New Oakhill cemetery.
Memorials in Jack’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the Center for
Hospice and Palliative Care.

Rosellen "Dixie" Hunter
ROCHESTER — Rosellen “Dixie” Hunter, 86, of Rochester, died at 2: 35 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11,
2008 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
She is survived by daughters: Lynda (Ted) McCloughan of Rochester, Kay (Robert) Eiler of
Alexandria, Wanda (Richard) Wilhelm of Macy and Patsy Rowe of Peru; 15 grandchildren; and
33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Good Family Funeral Home, and one
hour prior to services Thursday. Funeral services are Thursday, Oct. 16 at 10: 30 a.m. at the
funeral home. Burial will be at the Rochester IOOF cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hope
Hospice of Fulton County and to the American Cancer Society.

Ronald “Ronnie” James Winterrowd
ROCHESTER — Ronald “Ronnie” James Winterrowd, 64, of Rochester, died at 11: 13 a.m.
Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Winterrowd; daughters: Zorina (Timothy) Lewis of St.
Petersburg, Fla. and Stacey (Dennis) Angrick of Greenwood; five grandchildren; sister, Jacksie
(Jim) Reiken of Mentone; and brothers: Robert (Karen) Winterrowd of Rochester, Garry
Winterrowd of Fort Wayne and Robin W. Winterrowd of Palestine.
Visitation is Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester,
and one hour prior to the services Wednesday. Funeral services are Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 1
p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rochester IOOF cemetery. Memorials may be
made to the Fulton County Humane Society Building Fund.

Lynn Dittmer
WALKERTON — Lynne Dittmer, 59, of Walkerton, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at home.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Mike Dittmer of Walkerton; daughters: Rebecca (Tim)
Taberski of Plymouth and Wendelyn (Charles) Daly of Walkerton; and mother, Hildred Golomb
of Plymouth.
Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Blissville Church of the Brethren,
Plymouth, and one hour prior to services Friday. Funeral services are Friday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m.
at the church. Burial will be at Morris cemetery, LaPaz.
Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, is in charge of arrangements.

Maxine L. Kares
BREMEN — Maxine L. Kares, 92, of Bremen, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at Bremen Health
Care Center.
Maxine was born January 8, 1916 in Marshall County, Ind. to Walter and Viola (Shafer) Kline.
She married Horace “Shorty” Kares March 21, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1982.
She graduated from Bremen High School and later worked for Borneman Products for 37 years.
She attended Bremen Missionary Church.
Maxine is survived by a son, Richard (Ardith) Kares of Bremen; three granddaughters: Traci
(Jay) Stoneburner of Bremen, Sherry (Tom) Chang of Bremen and Melody (Jim) Kiefer of East
Lansinf, Mich.; five great-granddaughters: Jaymi Stoneburner, Libby Chang, Chelsey Chang all
of Bremen, Meredith and Diedre Kiefer of East Lansing, Mich. and a sister, Joan L. Yoder of
Bremen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Ronnie Kares.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Mishler Funeral Home,
Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 10: 30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the funeral home with
burial to follow at Bremen cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Community Hospital of Bremen.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pamela L. Lowe
ROCHESTER — Pamela L. Lowe, 49, of 5651 North 325 West, Rochester, died at 8: 11 a.m.
Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at Woodlawn Hospital Emergency Room, Rochester. She was born July
23, 1959 in South Bend to Harold “Squeak” and Janet (Mikesell) Lowe.
She graduated from Rochester High School in 1978. She was a bus driver for RSVP of Fulton
County for many years and had been a bartender at various places for many years.
She is survived by her mother, Janet Lowe of Rochester; two brothers: Greg (Dona) Lowe of
Rochester and Jeff (Cinda) Lowe of Carmel; companion of more than 16 years, Fred A.
McGlothin; three stepchildren: Shelly (Rich) Wagoner of Brownsburg, Fred A. McGlothin Jr. of
Rochester and Bryce McGlothin of Rochester; niece and nephews: Ashley, Austin and Conner
Lowe; and five grandchildren: Kyrsten, Hannah, and Morgan Wagoner and Braxton and Tarick
McGlothin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold “Squeak” Lowe in 2001.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 at the Rochester
IOOF cemetery, Rochester, with Pastor Steve Fleck officiating.
Memorials may be made to The Foundation of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth,
1915 Lake Ave., Plymouth, IN 46563.
Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, is in charge of the arrangements.

Darlene J. Aultman
Darlene J. Aultman, 75, died at 12: 23 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; children: Barbara (Marlin) Richards of Hammond, Cindy
(Gary) Blanchette of Bourbonais, Ill., Cheryl Kirk of Minnesota City, Minn. and Mark (Susan)
Aultman of Lowell; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester.
Funeral services are Thursday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Halo of Hope Foundation.

Charles R., Jr. Kline
PLYMOUTH — Charles R. Kline Jr., 60, of Plymouth, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 at Memorial
Hospital, South Bend.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Kline of Plymouth; daughter, Roxanne (Paul Bragg) Kli
ne of Plymouth; son, Neal Kline of Plymouth; father, Charles R. Kline Sr.; sisters: Barb (Danny)
Grimmer of South Bend and Brenda Kline of Bremen; brother, John (Yavonne) Kline of South
Bend; and one grandchild.
Visitation is Friday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home,
Plymouth. Funeral services are Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Mackenzie Lanae Boardman-Dausch
Our little “Angel”, Mackenzie Lanae Boardman-Dausch was stillborn Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Bluffton
Regional Hospital to her loving parents, Amber Boardman formerly of Bourbon and Michael
Dausch, Jr. of Bluffton.
Mackenzie is also survived by her Grammy; Tammie and Gramps; Howard Boardman of
Bourbon, Paternal Grandmother, Janice (Mrs. Bobby) Wolford of Geneva, IN and several great-grandparents.
She also has two sisters, Ashley and Kayla Dausch and a brother, Bret Dausch all
of Berne.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandfather, Michael Dausch, Sr.
Funeral services to celebrate Mackenzie’s life will be held on Friday, Oct. 17 at 1: 30 p.m. in
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon.
The family will receive friends from 12: 30 p.m. until time of funeral services Friday in the funeral
home.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill cemetery, Bourbon.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Robert Donald Boller
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Robert Donald Boller, 75, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Boller of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sons and daughters-in-law:
James Robert Boller and his wife, Suzanne of Cleveland, Ohio and David Craig Boller and his
wife, Jill of Detroit, Mich.; one grandchild; and two adopted grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 24, 2008 in the First Lutheran Church, Hot
Springs, Ark. Services will be under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs, Ark
Interment will be in the Davenport Memorial Park cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK
73123-1718 or First Lutheran Church, 105 Village Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.

Jack E. Campbell
CULVER — Jack E. Campbell, 81 of Culver, passed away on Oct. 14, 2008 at home.
Jack was born on May 20, 1927 in Kendallville to Marvel (Eddy) and Orrin D. Campbell, who
preceded him in death.
He graduated from Rome City (Indiana) High School in 1945. He immediately enlisted in the
Navy and served at Subic Bay in the Philippine Islands for more than a year during WWII.
In 1950, he married Lila Joyce Campbell in Fort Wayne. She preceded him in death in 1982.
Jack married Marilyn Steele in 1986 in Kokomo, Indiana. She survives.
Other survivors include three children, David of Rochester, Jack, Jr. (Linn) of Culver, and Susan
(Roger) Thews of Culver; three stepchildren: Mary Catherine (James) Shockney of Katy, Texas,
Susan Steele of Indianapolis, and John Steele of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jack started in the boat business at an early age when his parents opened a marina in Rome
City, Ind. in 1932. In 1953, he and his father purchased the Culver Boat Company on the south
end of Lake Maxinkuckee. He operated at that location until 1975 when he built the Culver
Marina on the south east corner of the lake. Jack retired in 2004 after the sale of the business.
He was an avid circus and carnival enthusiast. He enjoyed restoring antique rides and opening
them up for the public on Sunday afternoons at the marina. In 1997 he hosted the National
Carousel Convention where his restoration of a 1927 Allan Herschell Carousel won an award. All
of the rides and band organ were purchased by a museum in Olcott Beach, New York where
they are now on display. Jack also enjoyed restoring Chris Craft boats. Many of the boats on
Lake Maxinkuckee were restored under his supervision. He was a member of the Lions Club,
Wesley United Methodist Church, and a 61 year member of the American Legion.
Visitation with the family will be held Oct. 17, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT at the Bonine-Odom
Funeral Home in Culver. Rev. Larry Saunders will officiate services on Oct. 18, 2008 at 11 a.m.
EDT at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 511 School St., Culver, with visitation one hour
before the service. Burial will follow at the Culver Masonic cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Wesley United Methodist Church Building Fund.
The Bonine-Odom Funeral Home, Culver, is in charge of arrangements.

Mildred O. Jones
WEST LAFAYETTE — Mildred O. Jones, 94, of West Lafayette, formerly of Nappanee, died
Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m. at George Davis Manor, West Lafayette.
She is survived by daughters: Joan E. (Robert) Cassell of West Lafayette and Judy A. (Lonnie)
Miller of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and
sisters: Jessie Price of Bremen, Esther Wagoner of Plymouth, Marion Tharp of Plymouth and
Ruth Fox of Wakarusa.
Visitation is Friday, Oct. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral
Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Funeral services are Saturday,
Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bremen cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Living Gospel Church.
