Kaylin Michelle Doggendorf, 14, of Pierceton, Indiana, died on 3/19/2010 at Whitley County, Indiana. She was born on December 2, 1995 in Wabash, Indiana.

Kaylin was born to Jason and Linbeth (Snider) Doggendorf.
She was a resident for eight years of Pierceton, Indiana and a former resident of Warsaw, Indiana, North Manchester, Indiana and Logansport, Indiana.

Kaylin was a student at the Whitko Middle School in Larwill, Indiana. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America, a softball player in the Pierceton Youth League of Pierceton, Indiana and a member of the Whitko Middle School Choir at Larwill, Indiana. She attended various community churches.

She is survived by her loving family, including, her parents
Jason and Linbeth (Snider) Doggendorf of Pierceton, Indiana; sisters Tiana Rene and Dreama Nicole both of Pierceton, Indiana; maternal grandparents Philip and Jenny Snider of Logansport, Indiana; maternal great-grandmother Helene Snider of North Manchester, Indiana; aunt Gina(spouse Travis) Gaumer of Logansport, Indiana and cousins Brenden, Dale, Brittiany and Ethen Gaumer all of Logansport, Indiana.
She was preceded by her paternal grandparents.

Pastors R. Kurt Borgman and Karen Eberly of the North Manchester Church of the Brethren and Pastor James Baughman of
Bethel Baptist Church of Pierceton, Indiana will officiate the services.

Services will be held at North Manchester Church of the Brethren ,North Manchester, Indiana on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 2:00 to 8:00 pm at the Warsaw FUNERAL CHAPEL on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the FUNERAL CHAPEL. Burial will be at Hillcrest cemetery - Pierceton, Indiana.

Thomas Welch, Jr.

Thomas Welch, Jr., 57, of Leesburg, Indiana, died on 3/22/2010 at 10:30 am at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1952 in Marion, Indiana.

Thomasd was born to Thomas Isaac and Joann (Dilts) Welch Sr. He has lived most of his life in Kosciusko County.
He worked for R.R. Donnelly and Sons, Warsaw and also for Kimble Glass until 2003. Thomas was a member of the Moose Lodge, Warsaw and Eagles Lodge, Warsaw. He graduated from Wawasee High School, class of 1971.
Thomas is survived by his Parents; Thomas Isaac and Joann Welch Sr., Leesburg, Indiana

Sister; Deborah Ann (and spouse Mike) Welch Conkle, Indianapolis, Indiana
he is preceded in death by a Sister, Barbara Welch.

Earl 'Wayne' Brown

Armed Forces Veteran - Air Force
Earl 'Wayne' Brown, 64, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/25/2010 at 8:15 pm at Mason Health Care Center, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on August 31, 1945 in Milan, Indiana.

Wayne was born to Elmer and Lucy (Stopher) Brown. On August 16, 1996, he married Judith Reed Huffer in Rising Sun, Indiana.
Wayne was a member of the United States Air Force from 1965 - 1969 where he served as a Crew Chief on a refueling plane over Vietnam. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Carswell Air Force Base, Texas.
Wayne was a member of the American Legion Post #185, Vevay, Indiana and the American Quarter Horse Association.
He worked in supervision most of his life, most recently as General Manager of Bob Evans Farms Restaurant in Warsaw, Indiana which he called his dream job. He previously owned a flower shop in Vevay, Indiana. Wayne loved playing golf and fishing. he loved people and talking. He will be missed by not only his family, but also by his many friends.
Wayne also loved Spring because it was his time to plant flowers and also fouling time. He loved and raised horses for many years. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Pierceton Presbyterian Church.

Elizabeth (Libby) Markland, Rising Sun, Indiana
2 Sister-In-Laws; Marjorie Brown, Bennington, Indiana
Vonda (and spouse Sam) Lehman, Pierceton, Indiana
1 Brother-In-Law; Neal (and spouse Erna) Meloy, Warsaw, Indiana
and several Nieces and Nephews and great Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, a Brother, James E. Brown and a Sister, Marjorie 'Jean' Tyler.

Services will be held at Markland Funeral Home, Rising Sun, Indiana on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 with Reverend Jim Jenkin at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 1:00 - 5:00 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Sunday, March 28, 2010. Burial will be at Rising Sun New cemetery, Rising Sun, Indiana with military honors..

The family requests memorial contributions be made to your local 4-H Horse and Pony Club or to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 88-541, Chicago, Illinois 60674-1541.

Shanee E. Dodier

Shanee E. Dodier, 47, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/25/2010 at 11:28 pm at Hospice Home of Fort Wayne. She was born on July 23, 1962 in Anaheim, California.

Shanee was the Daughter of Brad and June (Stellings) Bradford. She moved to Warsaw 5 years ago, moving from Los Angeles, California.
She was in Personal Management for the music industry, working with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones as well as Virgin Records. She also worked for one of the top Beverly Hills law firms, retiring in 2005.
She is survived by 2 Daughters; Rhapsody Dodier, Warsaw, Indiana

Donald E. 'Gene' Smith Jr.

Donald E. 'Gene' Smith Jr., 53, of Pierceton, Indiana, died on 3/26/2010 at 9:55 am at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on September 29, 1956 in Goshen, Indiana.

Donald was born to Donald E. and Bobbie Jean (Johnson) Smith Sr. He was raised in Fort Myers, Florida, moving to Warsaw in 1978.
He married Carol Louise Creekmore on February 5, 1978 in Fort Myers, Florida.
Donald worked for various companies until becoming an Independent Contractor, working with T.J. Construction, Leesburg, Indiana for 9 years. He then worked on his own for the last 5 years.
He is survived by his Wife; Carol Louise Smith, Pierceton, Indiana
1 Daughter; Sabrina Danielle Smith, Warsaw, Indiana
2 Sons; Chris James Creekmore, Warsaw, Indiana
Jeremiah Eugene Smith, Warsaw, Indiana
2 Grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Calling hours will be 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Burial will be at a later date.

Robert Jay Lambert

Robert Jay Lambert, 53, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/26/2010 at 8:35 pm at his residence. He was born on January 5, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Robert was born to Leon and Joan (McLean) Lambert. He moved to Warsaw from Massachusetts 22 years ago. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1979 and was an avid Illinois fan.
He married Pam Rost on January 2, 1982 in Gibson City, Illinois. He worked as a Quality Manager for Zimmer, retiring in 2004.
Robert is survived by his Wife; Pam Lambert, Warsaw, Indiana
2 Daughters; Amanda and Meredith Lambert, both of Warsaw, Indiana
1 Brother; Richard Lambert, California
3 Nieces; Sarah, Jenny and Suzy
1 Nephew; Jascha
and 1 Great Nephew; Joshua
He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister, Janet Reyes.

Billy Oscar Reiff

Armed Forces Veteran - Army
Billy Oscar Reiff, 77, of Leesburg, Indiana, died on 3/29/2010 at 1:25 am at his residence. He was born on May 26, 1932 in Warsaw, Indiana.

Bill was born to Ralph and Lille (Wissler) Reiff. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana.

He was self-employed and ran a carpentry business. Bill faithfully served is country in the United States army as a Corporal during the Korean Conflict from 1952 to 1955. He was a member of the North Webster American Legion Post #253 and the Pierceton American Legion Post #258.

Bill will be remembered by his loving family, including, his daughter Lisa Lee of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his sons Michael Reiff of Warsaw, Indiana and Steven Reiff of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also, surviving are a grandson Brandon Reiff and a granddaughter Emily Reiff both of Pierceton, Indiana.
In addition, sisters Josephine Wells and Mary Shroyer and a brother Sam Reiff all of Warsw, Indiana survive. Bill will be missed by his companion Doris Calhoun of Leesburg, Indiana. Finally, a brother Bob Reiff preceded him.

Graveside Military Honors will be conducted by the North Webster American Legion Post #253. Chaplain Phil Smith of the American Legion Post #253 will officiate the service.

Services will be held at Mock cemetery, North Webster, Indiana on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Mock cemetery, North Webster, Indiana.

Alberta L. Cox

Alberta L. Cox, 85, of Nappanee, In and formerly of Warsaw, In, died on 3/30/2010 at 6:45 pm at Miller's Merry Manor - Syracuse, Indiana. She was born on June 11, 1924 in Kosciusko County, Indiana.

Alberta was born to Emry and Violet (Barth) Murphy. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana.

On December 7, 1946 she was wed to Robert L. Cox, who preceded her on April 8, 1989.
Alberta was homemaker and a member of the Mount Tabor Church of God of Etna Green, Indiana, the Atwood, Indiana Fire Department Auxiliary and the Ruth Circle.

Alberta leaves two sons Randal "Randy" Cox of Syracuse, Indiana, Robert Cox of Wichita, Kansas and her daughter Mrs. James (Pam) Roberts of Pierceton, Indiana.
Also surviving are a sister Lenora Stump of Warsaw, Indiana, seven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded by a son Blaine Allen Cox, a sister Maxine Nice and a grandchild.

Pastor Stan Owen of the Mount Tabor Church of God will officiate the services.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, Indiana on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 10:00 am. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm on Friday, April 2, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana.
