Chloe Rose Zirkelbach, 6-day-old infant daughter of Robert J. and Gregg (Moffatt) Zirkelbach, of Anderson, was joined with God in Heaven on Aug. 21, 2003.

She was born Aug. 15, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Survivors include her parents; three brothers, Samuel J. Zirkelbach, Xavier R. Cortez and Andrew D. Zirkelbach, all of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Robert and Judy Moffatt of Anderson; paternal grandmother, Dorothy H. (Frossard) Zirkelbach, of Anderson; maternal great-grandmother, Norma Rose Cutrell of Brownsburg; maternal great-grandparents, Verba L. and Mary Doughty of Yorktown; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald P. Zirkelbach; and maternal great-grandfather, James S. Cutrell.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at North Anderson Church of God with the Rev. Jim Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospital Family Life Center, 2001 W. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46240-0970.

Donald K. Aldred

April 26, 1930 -- Aug. 20, 2003

DELTONA, Fla. -- Donald K. Aldred, 73, of Deltona, Fla., died at his home Aug. 20, 2003.

He was a processing engineer for Delco Remy in Anderson and Olathe, Kan.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; sons, Kevin Aldred and Donald Aldred; daughter Lynee Ellen Annis; sister, Helen Trimble; seven grandchildren.

Tri-County Cremation Service, South Daytona, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.

Willie Earl Bryant

MUNCIE -- Willie Earl Bryant, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 19, 2003.

He was retired from Delco Battery after 34 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local 489, past member of the Wautusi Warriors Football Team, Muncie Reserve Police Department and a past member of Widow Son's Lodge 22.

Mr. Bryant was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church and served as a greeter. He was also the founder and president of the Southern Gentlemans Club. He was owner of W.E.B.'s Barbecue Restaurant.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbra Bryant; his parents, Willis and Minervia Bryant; brothers, M.L. Bryant, Buster Bryant, M.L. Sutton; sister, Francis Bryant; son, Carlos (Porky) Evans; nieces, Damika Bryant, Violeta Harvey; nephew, Joseph Bryant; great-grandson, Trevail Woods.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, Kevin Bryant (wife, Vanetta) of Muncie, Donald Evans, (wife, Trudy) of Anderson, Lynn Evans of Manchester, England; four daughters, Gloria Thomas (husband, Ronald) of Indianapolis, Francie Bryant Isom, Chakka Jordan, Tony Thompson all of Muncie; brother, Bunk Bryant (wife, Vera) and special cousin, John Charles Grinstead both of Muncie; three sisters, Fronia Steigler (husband, Eddie) of Muncie, Louis Parkman (husband, Robert) of Monticello, Miss., Georgia Mae Tatum (husband, Tony) of Anderson; and uncle, Rudolph Bryant of Brookhaven, Miss.; 25 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a special companion, Teresa Sampson of Muncie; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Union Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Gholar & Gholar Funeral Service, 900 E. Kirby Ave., Muncie.

Millicent G. Wingrove

Sept. 30, 1914--Aug. 21, 2003

Former Elwood resident Millicent G. Wingrove, 88, of Anderson, died Aug. 21, 2003, at Bethany Pointe in Anderson following an extended illness.

She was a math teacher in the Elwood Junior High School, was also a substitute teacher and taught math in Tonganoxie, Kan.

She was a member of the West Street Christian Church in Tipton.and was a member of the American Association of University Women, Tri-Kappa Sorority, Lady Lions Club and The P.E.O. Club in Tonganoxie. She held a bachelor's degree from Kansas University and enjoyed traveling and reading. She was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program in Elwood.

Survivors include her daughter, Margaret and husband, Richard Larson of Fairfax Station, Va.; three sons, Stephen R. and wife, Cindy Wingrove of Elwood, William and wife, Cathe Wingrove of Anderson and Peter and wife, Karen Wingrove of Wexford, Pa.; brother, Marlin and wife, Louanna Robinson of Wilson, Kan.; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Wingrove, Amanda Wingrove, Meredith Wingrove, Leslie Wingrove, Laura Wingrove, Kristen Wingrove, Kris Thomas and Kyle Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Christopher Wingrove and Jason Vollenhals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Elsie (Ball) Robinson; her husband, whom she married May 24, 1943, and who died Aug. 17, 1993, Rollin R. Wingrove; two brothers, Robert E. Robinson Jr. and John Robinson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Curran of West Street Christian Church in Tipton officiating. Entombment will be in Elwood City Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to: West Street Christian Church through the funeral home.

Dorothy Mae King

Dec. 31, 1930 -- Aug. 22, 2003

ELWOOD -- Dorothy Mae Snipe King, 72, of Elwood, died Aug. 22, 2003, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.

She was born Dec. 31, 1930, in Elwood to Roy and Grace (Talley) Snipe. She marred James F. King Dec. 5, 1953.

She retired in 1993 from Delco Remy Plant 20 after 37 years of service. She had worked at the Pipe Creek's assessor's office and the Hallmark Store in Elwood.

Mrs. King was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and Kappa Delta Phi Sorority in Elwood.

Survivors include her husband, James King of Elwood; a son, Jeffrey L. "Butch" (wife, Tamie) King of Russiaville; two daughters, Paula Mitchell (husband, David) Olson, Crystal Lake, Ill., and Martisia "Marti" King Osorio of Goshen; sister, Dolly Snipe (husband Jean) Coy of Anderson; brother, James E. (wife Sue) Snipe of Alexandria; granddaughter, Kinsey Olson Christin of St. Charles, Ill.; three grandsons, James (wife Christina) Benefiel of Goshen, Christopher (wife Marie) Benefiel of White Pigeon, Mich., Matthew Ryan King of Crawfordsville; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Snipe and Grace Snipe Ervin; sister, Carolyn Snipe; brother, Eugene Snipe.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Dunnichay Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Waggoner of the Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Entombment in Elwood City Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mona L. Stinson

FORTVILLE -- Mona L. Stinson, 82, of Fortville, died Aug. 22, 2003, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.

Arrangements are pending at Seals Funeral Home in Fortville.

Carrie Mae Wheeler

Feb. 3, 1955--Aug. 20, 2003

Carrie Mae Wheeler, 48, of Anderson, died at home Aug. 20, 2003, after an extended illness.

She graduated from Madison Heights High School and was formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant at Community Northview Nursing Home. She was a member of the Anderson community since 1967 and also attended Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Jesse Mae Wheeler of Anderson; three daughters, LaTonya (Lawrence) Glover, LaTrecha and Felicia Watkins all of Anderson; five brothers, R.B. (Maude) Wheeler Jr., Tamper (Estella) Wheeler, Leroy (Ann) Wheeler, Kirby (Carrie) Wheeler, all of Anderson and Cleve Wheeler of Shreveport, La.; five sisters, Arleetha Steans, Sister Ethel (Elder John) Stewart, Katie (Rev. Henry) Prince, Bertha (Mark) Taylor, all of Anderson and Lena (Lester) Spencer of Panama City, Fla.; and a very special friend, L.C. Watson of Anderson.

She will be sadly missed by five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.

And a special thanks to Dr. Larry Cripe, Katie Honche and IU medical staff and also to St. John's hospice staff.

She was preceded in death by her father, R.B. Wheeler Sr.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Viontta Traylor officiating. Viewing will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until time of funeral.

Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.

All arrangements entrusted to Gholar & Gholar Funeral Service, 2223 Nichol Ave.

Wilburn C. Fisher

Oct 3, 1920 - Aug. 21, 2003

Wilburn C. Fisher, 82, of Anderson, died Aug. 21, 2003, at the home of his son after an extended illness.

He was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Mecca, Ind., and resided in this area since 1940.

He retired in 1980 as a tool and die maker from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 40 years of service.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War I in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church and UAW Local 662.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years whom he married in Marion, Betty (Thompson) Fisher; one daughter, Connie Plough of Anderson; one son, Jeffrey "Kent" and wife Ann Fisher of Middletown; sister, Maryellen Bradley of Russiaville; four grandchildren, Jon and wife Tiffany Plough, Misty Plough, Douglas and wife Sherri Fisher and James and wife Vodka Fisher; great-grandchildren, Cassie Fisher, Kaylee Fisher, Alexis Fisher, Shaina Jenkins, Kelsey Ann Plough, Taylor Jo Plough. He was a father figure to Jon and Misty. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A special thanks to nurse Betty Hopkins, Dr. Kevin Luksus and Dr. Larry Blankenship.

He was preceded by his parents, Elmer and Essie (Baldwin) Fisher; grandson, Gregory Alan Plough; brother, William Fisher.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Robert D. Loose Fuenral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., with Robert Bell and Randy Wood officiating.

Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. military graveside rites will be conducted.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the South Chapel.

Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Jean Alice Salsbery
Jean Alice Salsbery, 92, of Tipton, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Tipton County Hospital. She was born May 20, 1919 near to Charles and Amie (Graham) Lacy.
Jean was a graduate of Prairie High School. She had worked at J.C. Penneys and in the dietary department of Tipton Hospital. She was also a member of Arcadia Church of the Brethren, Tipton Order of Eastern Sta, and New Hope Extension Homemakers Club of Tipton County.
Jean enjoyed gardening and doing needlepoint that she generously gave to her family. She also enjoyed basketball and was an avid Pacer fan. But, most of all she loved and treasured interacting with her family.
Surviving her are three daughters, Sharon Sue Shupperd of Tipton, Bette Jeanne (Dan) Shields of Arcadia and Colleen Kay (Bruce) Freeman of Cicero; a sister, June Snipes of Kokomo; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is a grandson, Brian Mendenhall; a great-grandson, Wyatt Henderson; a brother, Stanley F. Lacy; and two sons-in-law, Rusty Mendenhall and Larry Shupperd.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Hartley Funeral Homes Arcadia Chapel with the Rev. Mark Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at the Normanda Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arcadia Church of the Brethren.

Evalyn Ruth Wesner
Evalyn Ruth Wesner, 84, Tipton died at 9:35 a.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012 at IU Health Tipton.
She was born Aug. 19, 1927 in Tipton to Edward and Ruby (Gould) Fike.
On July 4, 1948, she married Robert Earl Wesner and he preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2001.
Evalyn was a homemaker and a member of West Street Christian Church in Tipton. She also was a member of the Leah Circle at the church.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Anthony Wesner and wife Roberta of Sharpsville and Nicholas Robert Wesner and wife Lisa of Port Orange, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Christina Wesner, Josh Wesner and wife Carrie, Nichols R. Wesner II and wife Jennifer, Andy Wesner and wife Andrea, Lisa Williams and husband Tom E., Brian Bledsoe and Lacy Gunter; and ten great-grandchildren, Phoenix Hoffman, Nicholas R. Wesner III, AJ McCaro, Paige Wesner, Ethan Sizelove, Abagail Wesner, Braydon Williams, Naomi Williams, Addison Williams, and Bella Williams.
Evalyn is also survived by five brothers and sisters, Wilbur Fike of Kokomo, Kathy Bayes of Richmond, Pat McHone of Indianapolis, Karen Sue Fearnow and Cyinthia Kay Sottong of Tipton.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lee Fike and Charles Edward Fike.
Evalyn's funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with the Revs. Jim Tucker and Linda McKiernan-Allen presiding. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Tipton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Street Christian Church, 132 N. West St., Tipton, IN 46072.
