Lola V. Littlejohn, 74, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/4/2010 at 4:56 pm at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She was born on March 26, 1936 in Santa Ana, California.

Lola was the daughter of Clemente P. Steppe and Harriette Zimmerman Pritchard. She was a resident of Garden Grove, California until moving to Warsaw in 1977.
Lola worked as a final inspector for Depuy until retiring in 1993. She attended Celebration Church and Warsaw Community Church.
She was a member of the Stroke Support Group at the Beyer Building and volunteered with seniors at Pete Thorne Senior Citizens Center, Warsaw. Lola loved working with children at Warsaw Community Schools, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family, friends and her beloved cat "Pookie".

She is survived by 6 Children

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements. There will also be visitation on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 10:00 - 12:00 Noon at the funeral chapel. Robert A. Himes, 54, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/4/2010 at 4:10 pm at Mason Healthcare Center, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on January 27, 1956 in Warsaw, Indiana.

Robert was the son of Ronald and Marjorie (Huffer) Himes. He was a lifetime resident of Warsaw, graduating from Warsaw High School in 1974. He worked for Breadings Cigar Store, Warsaw, Klines Department Store, Warsaw and for Little Crow Foods, Warsaw since 1976.
He loved sports especially football and NASCAR and spending time with his kids.

Bill Buck Wright

Armed Forces Veteran - Army
Bill Buck Wright, 79, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/8/2010 at 2:15 am at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on August 2, 1930 in Martin, Kentucky.

Bill was born to George and Nettie (Pitts) Wright. In the Commonwealth of Kentucky on September 15, 158 he was united in marriage to Nova Jean Crisp. Nova Jean preceded Bill on August 18, 2008.

Bill retired, after 28 years of service, as Cabinet Builder for Mutchler Brothers Cabinets of Nappanee, Indiana. He was an avid gardener and woodworker.

Bill faithfully served his country in the United States Army from 1947 to 1951. Bill, while serving in the Korean Conflict, attained the rank of Private First Class and received the Order of the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat action against the enemy.

Bill is survived by his loving family, including 2 Daughters: Vannessa (Husband Steve) Allen of Florence, Ky.and Karen (Husband Bart) Aker of Richmond, Va.. In, addition, 4 Sons: Michael (Wife Rhonda) Wright of Burket, In.; Kevin (companion Carrie Woodall)Wright of Palestine, In.; Steve (Wife Jackie) Wright of Warsaw, In.; Edgar Wright-Palestine, In.. Also, 3 Sisters: Daisy Barnett of Bucks Branch, KY; Mae Johnson of Marion, IN;
Myrtle Johnson of Indianapolis, IN and
numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

Pastor Terry Bradford of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Claypool, IN will officiate the service.

Military Honors will be rendered by the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and the Veterans of Foreign Warsaw Post #1126 of Warsaw, IN.

Services will be held at Mentone cemetery, Mentone, Indiana on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00 Am. Burial will be at Mentone cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.

Bessie Carolyn "Judy" Francis

Bessie Carolyn "Judy" Francis, 67, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/9/2010 at 2:43 pm at Lutheran Hospital , Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born on June 4, 1943 in Leander, Kentucky.

Bessie (Judy) was born to Dallas and Josephine Caudill, Sr. She lived in Kosciusko County, including Sydney and Warsaw most of her life. On April 14, 1963, she married Ulysses Francis in Silver Lake, Indiana. She was a homemaker. Judy belonged to God's Highway to Heaven Church in Warsaw, Indiana. She is survived by her husband, Ulysses Francis, Warsaw, IN; 3 Brothers: Dallas Caudill Jr., Roger Caudill, and John Caudill; 1 Sister: Patricia Ridenour; 4 Children: Mark (Deb) Francis, South Whitley, Indiana; Jo (Daryl) Schuetz, Aurora, Colorado; James (Melody) Francis, Warsaw, Indiana; and Rebecca (Michael) Timmreck, Warsaw, Indiana. Judy is also survived by 12 grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, 1 brother James Caudill and 1 daughter Anne Francis.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Calling hours will be 1-5 pm on Sunday, June 13, 2010. Burial will be at Lakeview cemetery, Silver Lake, Indiana.

Jan Bradley Weaver

Jan Bradley Weaver, 56, of Leesburg, Indiana, died on 6/10/2010 at 1:12 AM at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on March 26, 1954 in Logansport, Indiana.

Jan was born to Ben and Rebecca (McMurry) Weaver. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He worked for Weaver and Sons Oil Company. Jan is survived by his parents; 1 son Jason (Carrie) Weaver of Warsaw, Indiana; 1 daughter Jillian Weaver of North Webster, Indiana; 1 brother: Jay (Cindy) Weaver of Leesburg, Indiana; 2 sisters: Lisa (John) Spears of Chicago, Illinois and LoriAnne Weaver of Lake Zurich, Illinois. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters: Makenna Weaver, Briana Dunn, Kayla Dunn and 1 grandson Brandon Dunn; 1 niece and 1 nephew and his companion Karen Grover of Leesburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be 5-8 PM at the funeral chapel on Friday, June 11, 2010. Burial will be at Leesburg cemetery - Leesburg, IN.

Leslie W. Lillis

Leslie W. Lillis, 87, of Winona Lake, Indiana, died on 6/13/2010 at 5:45 am at her residence. She was born on April 26, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois.

Leslie was born to Leslie Albert and Conway Christian (Fleming) Weary. Both her parents and sister, Catherine Fiutko and brother, Peyton Weary MD, preceded her in death.
On October 13, 1951, she married Paul B. Lillis in Virginia Beach, Virginia. he preceded her in death on April 25, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Mark) Piazza of Warsaw and a son, Stephen (Lynn) Lillis of Phoenix, Arizona as well as six grandchildren, Megan Piazza, Melissa (Kyle) Watson, and Lisa, Laura, Stacie and Sean Lillis.
In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, she greatly loved chocolate, shoes, dogs, the ocean and the beach. She will be missed by her family and numerous friends.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date.

Eleanor T. Novak Longbrake

Eleanor T. Novak Longbrake, 94, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/14/2010 at 10:15 pm at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on September 6, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois.

Eleanor was born to Joseph and Pearl (Urynowicz) Novak. She married Lewis Longbrake on November 28, 1934. he preceded her in death on February 22, 1965.
Eleanor worked for L.M. Berry until retiring in 1977. She also worked for Combined Community Services for 4 years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, Rosary Alter Society and Young at Heart. She was also active for a number of years as a volunteer for KCH Auxiliary.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter; Lynn (and spouse Charlie) Wheeler, Warsaw, Indiana

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, Indiana on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm and a rosary at 7:30 pm at the funeral chapel on Thursday, June 24, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.

Eugene A. Oliver, 69, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/15/2010 at 11:00 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on January 13, 1941 in San Jose, California.

Eugene wass born to Clarence and Elsie (Cunyah) Oliver. he married Tonya Deerwester on November 26, 2005 in St. Joe, Michigan.
He received his Associates in Arts Degree in Electronic Technology from San Jose City College, California. He also received an Associates in Arts Degree and a Bachelor in Arts Degree from Grace Theological Seminary.
Eugene worked for Zimmer Inc., retiring in 2006 and also was Building Commissioner for the Cities of Warsaw and Winona Lake.
He was a member of Warsaw Community Church, Burket Shooting Club and also was a Certified Instructor for the National Rifle Association.
Eugene is survived by his Wife; Tonya Oliver, Warsaw, Indiana
6 children; June George, Lynn (and spouse Daniel) Plett, Jenna (and spouse Chris) Hanna, Dana (and spouse Roman) Ovchinnikov, David (and spouse Melinda) Oliver and John (and spouse Paige) Oliver.
4 Step Children; Denise (and spouse Andrew) Northern, Phillip Deerwester, Stephanie Deerwester and Brandon Deerwester.
1 Sister-In-Law; Marie Lang of California

Steve P. Paege

Steve P. Paege, 91, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/16/2010 at 4:17 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on September 3, 1918 in South Bend, Indiana.

Steve was Warsaw, Indiana resident since 1953 and formerly resided in Bremen, Indiana. In Warsaw on June 20, 1953 he was united in marriage to Mirriam Foster Heagy. Mirriam preceded Steve on March 19, 2008.

Steve was a Machine Operator for Kimble Glass of Warsaw where he retired in 1981. He was a member of the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 of Warsaw, Indiana.

Steve faithfully served God and Country in the United States Army and was discharged in 1952. Steve, as a Sargent First Class participated in the Battle of the Bulge in World War Two and served in the Korean Conflict.

Steve is survived by a sister
Anna Kuntz of Bremen, Indiana, his brother and sister-in-law Joan and U.L. Skipper of Osceola, Indiana and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pastor Wayne Whitaker of Living Hope Ministries of Warsaw, Indiana will officiate the services.

Military Honors will be rendered by the American Legion Post #49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1126 both of Warsaw, Indiana.

Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Calling hours will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana.
