Margaret “Peggy” Roudebush
NOBLESVILLE – Margaret “Peggy” (Sallade) Roudebush, 86, Noblesville, died Nov. 29, 2006 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Tipton.
Born June 19, 1920, she was the daughter of William A. and Martha (Markwell) Sallade. She married John Roudebush. He preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1999.
She was a bookkeeper for Glidden Paint in Indianapolis, Firestone Industrial Products in Noblesville and then the Noblesville Ledger, from where she retired after many years.
She graduated from Noblesville High School. She attended Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville and was a volunteer at Riverview Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Sigler of Cicero; two sons, Larry Roudebush and Rich Roudebush, both of Noblesville; a step-brother, Mike Casey, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Clayton Sallade and Theodore Sallade.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis. The Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate.

Dr. Marion C. Drake
Dr. Marion C. “Bud” Drake, 83, of Vero Beach, Fla., died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach, Fla.
Dr. Drake was born Feb. 5, 1923, in Madison County, the son of Charles “Clifford” and Flossie (Canfield) Drake.
He was a 1941 graduate of Frankton High School. He attended Indiana University graduating in 1944 with an AB degree. In 1946 he received his MD degree from Indiana University.
He practiced medicine in Elwood for 47 years as a General Practitioner and in 1973 he became an anesthesiologist as well.
St.Vincent Mercy Hospital honored Dr. Drake by dedicating the hospital library in his name.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Elwood, Masonic Fellowship Lodge No. 681 of Anderson, 32nd Degree Mason and the Scottish Rite. He was an avid golfer, loved reading, music and spending time with his family.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline (Jones) Drake of Vero Beach, Fla.; two sons, Greg and wife, Patty Drake of Kokomo and Bob and wife, Lisa Drake of Florida; two daughters, Jeanne and husband, Steve Jones of Gas City and Julie Drake of Vero Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Heidi and husband, Jim Abel, Holly and husband, Brad Powell, Geoff Cook, Erin Cook, and Matthew and Thomas Drake; four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Drake of Frankton and Elizabeth Drake Moore of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Margaret Drake Almack and four brothers, Herschell, Ralph, Willard and Arthur Drake.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Constant of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery
in Elwood.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Margaret Drake Almack Scholarship Fund at Manchester College or St.Vincent Mercy Hospital.
Ora Kay Johnson
ANDERSON – Ora Kay Johnson, 58, of Anderson, died Nov. 28, 2006, at Community Hospital in Anderson after a brief illness.
She had resided in the Anderson and Alexandria area most of her lifetime.
She attended the Fishersburg Wesleyan Church and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. She was an avid Uno player.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Dailey of Anderson and Bobby Dailey of Fairmount; a daughter, Lora Dailey of Elwood; three grandchildren; five brothers, Chester Johnson of Kokomo, Paul (Kathy) Johnson of Cicero, Rick (Debbie) Johnson of Alexandria, Jerry (Laurie) Johnson of Nobles-ville and David (Dee) Johnson of Strawtown; three sisters, Merna (Rev. Raymond) Hood of Fishers-burg, Leota (James) Schuck of Cadiz, Ky., and Winnie (Jeff) Johnson of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1982 and her mother in 1985.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at the Owens Funeral Home in Alexan-dria, with the Rev. Raymond Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Park View Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Paul H. Kilgore
Paul H. Kilgore, 73, of Elwood, died Nov. 29, 2006, at St.Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born June 23, 1933, in Monterey, Tenn., the son of Daniel and Laura (Goff) Kilgore.
He retired from State Plating in Elwood after several years employment.
He married Elizabeth McClain May 1, 1954.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane (Kilgore) Cleveland of Bloomington; three sons, Randy Kilgore of Elwood, Roger Kilgore of Nebraska and Dennis Kilgore of Elwood; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three sisters, Bea Copeland of Monterey, Tenn., Nellie Walker of Crossville, Tenn. and Bessie Phillips of Crossville, Tenn.; and a brother, Jim Kilgore of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Sam and Arthur Kilgore; and five sisters, Dorothy Buckner, Ethel Bohannon, Danette Bennett, Anna Ruth Beard and Mary Phillips.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at the Elwood City Cemetery, with the Rev. Jack Bess officiating.
There will be no visitation.

Douglas Stroup
Douglas Stroup, 50, Tipton, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006 at Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo. Funeral arrangements are pending at Young-Nichols Funeral Home and will be updated when they are available.
Dr. Joanne Gentry
NOBLESVILLE – Dr. Joanne Gentry, 81, Noblesville, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006 at her home.
Born Dec. 16, 1924 in Noblesville, she was the daughter of Harry and Lois (Tice) Mosbaugh.
She married Neil R. Gentry. He preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1989.
She graduated from Noblesville High School in 1943. She then received a bachelor and master of science degree from Ball State University, before receiving her doctorate at Indiana University. She had taught elementary, high school and some college classes.
She was a member of Noblesville First Christian Church and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
She is survived by a son, John Michael “Mike” Gentry of Atlanta; a daughter, Sherry Minton of Anderson; one sister, Avanelle Hattery of Anderson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Woodward and Opal Simmerman.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Noblesville First Christian Church. Pastor Eric Brotheridge will officiate. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery
at Noblesville.

Raymond L. Leever
Raymond L. “Sonny” Leever, 62, of Elwood and Frankton, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Anderson after an extended illness.
He was born April 6, 1944, in Elwood, the son of Othal “Sam” Leever and Vernie (Aaron) Leever.
Sonny worked at the Rigdon Saw Mill and as a gas attendant for Deep Rock Gas Station for many years.
He is survived by his four sisters, Bonnie Tuggle of Aransas Pass, Texas, Anita Tryon of Rockport, Texas, Patricia Cross of Elwood and Diana Leever of Anderson; girlfriend, Linda Benefield of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Ray.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Alley officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Pansy Pennock
TIPTON – Pansy Pennock, 82, of Tipton, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at Tipton Hospital.
She was born Jan. 2, 1925, in Tipton to Raymond Howard and Violet (Coy) Petty.
She married Clifford Wayne Pennock Sept. 22, 1945. He died Jan. 6, 2002.
She worked in the Kokomo Assembly of Delco Electronics. She was a member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church and the Plum Grove Home Economics Club.
Pansy is survived by two sons, Jerry Wayne Pennock and wife, Pauletta of Atlanta and Gary Dean Pennock and wife, Sharon of Tipton; a daughter, Jean Ann Gibbs and husband, David of Tipton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Petty and a sister, Martha London Dye.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harvey Herring officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
