Mamie R. Marsh
FT. WAYNE — Mamie R. Marsh, 100, died Thursday, July 19, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

She is survived by sons, Stewart A. (Patricia) Marsh of Ft. Wayne and Dr. Myrle Fredrick
(Marilyn) Marsh of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step grandchildren
and three step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. at the D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325
Covington Road.

Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in New Oak Hill cemetery, Plymouth.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Leon T. Pollock
CULVER — Leon T. Pollock, 85, of Culver, passed away at 10:23p.m. on July 19, 2007 in the St.
Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.

Leon was born on Aug 29, 1921 in Rensselaer, on of four children born to Ross and Edna
(Smith) Pollock. He married his sweetheart, Vera Smith, on June 16, 1945 in Knox, while proudly
serving his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. She preceded him in death on Dec 1, 2003.

They have one son and two daughters.

After his discharge, Leon farmed, built the home he and Vera presently lived in and retired after
26 years as a construction supervisor with the Tonn-Blank Co of Michigan City. He loved the
Lord and his church and especially adored his grand and great grandchildren.

He is survived by: son, Dennis T. (Carolyn) Pollock of Winter Haven, Fla.; daughters: Beverly
(Kenneth) Merritt of Culver, and Karla Baldauf of Walkerton; grandchildren: Jennifer (Todd)
Wegmiller of Nappanee, Jeffrey (Dana) Pollock of Winter Haven, Fla, Aaron (Stacy) McAnally of
Rochester, Jannie Pollock of Culver, Joshua (Kellie) McCrammer of Indianapolis, April (Fred)
Woodward of Walkerton, Ken “Nuke” (Sandy) Merritt of Brownsburg; great-grandchildren: Cody
Wilson of Plymouth, Logan and Lukas Neidlinger of Culver, Kehler and Peyton Pollock of
Florida, Sheyenne and Briar Merritt of Culver, Cameron & Olivia Woodward of Walkerton,
Lauren Merritt of Brownsburg, and Jillian and Taylor Wegmiller of Nappanee.

He was preceded in death by his wife Vera, parents and three sisters: Bertha Vanscoik, Blanche
Stoll and Betty Brandt.
Visitation with the family is Monday, July 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. EST at the Bonine-Odom Funeral
Home, Culver. The Rev. James Adcock will officiate funeral services on Tuesday, July 24, at 11
a.m. CST at the Bible Baptist Church of Knox. Interment will follow at the Culver Masonic
cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Bible Baptist Church Building Fund.

Bonine-Odom Funeral Home, Culver, is in charge of arrangements.

David J. "Jim" Zeigler
PLYMOUTH — David J. (Jim) Zeigler, 58, of 17224 Tomahawk Trail, Plymouth, passed away
Thursday, July 19, 2007, at 6:45 a.m. at Goshen General Hospital, Goshen.

David was born on April 19, 1949, in South Bend, to Harry and Dorothy (Hoover) Zeigler. He
worked as a printer for 30 years. After that, he sold printing supplies. He retired from a bookstore
as a clerk. He loved to garden, collect antiques, and did a lot of woodworking. He moved to
Plymouth, from Mishawaka, where he lived for many years, in December of 2006.

David is survived by his brothers: Harry Zeigler of Phoenix, Ariz. And Richard and Sue Becknell
Zeigler Sr. of Plymouth; his sisters: Carolyn Ellis of Plymouth, Barbara Knepper of Plymouth,
Sandra Kasier of Mishawaka, Sharon and David Snyder of Osceola and Sue and Victor Maquis
of Elkhart.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2007, in Fairview
cemetery, Mishawaka, with Pastor Paul Whitworth of the Faith Baptist Church of Plymouth,
officiating.

Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison St., Plymouth, IN, 46563, is in charge of the
arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Cancer Care, Attention: Amy Conklin,
Goshen Hospital, 200 High Park Avenue, Goshen, IN, 46526.

Naomi Ruth Crow
PLYMOUTH – Naomi Ruth Crow, 91, of 10939 Michigan Road, Plymouth, passed into eternal
life at 2:25 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2007. Naomi died as she had wished in her home for the past 56
years, in the care of her family and the Marshall C She was born the fifth of nine children to
Nathan and Cleo Elizabeth (Beam) Pletcher, on May 30, 1916 in Lakeville.

Naomi began her education at the Culp School near Nappanee and then attended Argos High
School.

On Jan. 1, 1939 in Akron, she became the bride of Lewis S. Crow and together they enjoyed 44
years together. He would precede her in death on July 10, 1983.

She was a dedicated production employee for over 25 years with Pilgrim Farms of Plymouth until
retiring on July 31, 1981.

Living a Christian life and giving testament to others, she was a longtime active member of the
Plymouth Church of God having served as church pianist until the age of 89. She was also
involved in the Right to Life and the Home & Hobby Extension Homemakers Club. At home she
enjoyed reading and tending her flower and vegetable garden.

She was an attentive mother of two daughters, a son, 11 grandchildren and their families:
daughter, Lucille R. and husband John R. Miller Sr. of Owosso, Mich. With children, John R.
Miller Jr., Karen S. Miller, Paula R. Miller, Pamela K. Miller and Carol A. Miller; daughter Sandra
E. Feece of Plymouth survives with children, Christopher L. Feece, Todd E. Feece and Michelle
D. Feece; a son, Raymond Crow preceded Naomi in death and is survived by his wife, Barbara
of Montgomery, Ill. And children, Julie A. Sullivan, Hans N. Crow and Heidi Dettloff.

Also included are eight great grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Her surviving
brothers are Russell Pletcher and Gene (Leona) Pletcher of South Bend and Willard (Ruth)
Pletcher of Argos, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Naomi was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter, Sherri L. Miller; four brothers,
Paul, Clarence, Charles and Ralph Pletcher and a sister, Goldie Barlow.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Naomi’s life on Monday, July 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. in
Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, and continue after 7 a.m.
Tuesday until time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The Reverends Wayne
Mikel and John R. Miller Sr. will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.

Memorial gift contributions may be made to the Plymouth Church of God, 11734 9A Road,
Plymouth, Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 112 S. Center St., Plymouth, IN 46563 or
Right to Life.

Forrest A. Cline
CULVER — Forrest A. Cline, 89, of Culver, formerly of Argos, died at 8:19 p.m. Saturday, July
21 at Miller's Merry Manor of Culver following a two and a half year illness. He was born Nov. 5,
1917 in Bremen to Raymond & Viola (Pfeiffer) Cline. On May 16, 1942 in Syracuse, he married
Gladys I. Thomas, who preceded him in death Sept. 18, 2002.

Forrest had lived in the Argos community for more than 53 years. He graduated from Atwood
High School in the class of 1937. He was a farmer and worked at the Bourbon Elevator.

He is survived by three daughters: Judy (Terry) Ernsberger of Plymouth, Linda Smith of
Indianapolis and Shirley Marks of Bremen; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four
great-great grandchildren; one sister, Phyliss (Vere) Stiver of Bourbon and one brother, Jim
(Janet) Cline of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Ward Cline; and grandson, Daniel
Calhoun.

Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman
Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, IN 46501.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday July 25 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark
Fishburn officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Pleasant cemetery, Bourbon.

Envelopes will be available at the funeral home for: American Diabetes Association, Plymouth
Office; 10872 Queen Rd., Plymouth, IN 46563

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.

Ralph "Bob" Nash
BANGOR, Maine — Dr. Ralph “Bob” Nash, 91, of Bangor, Maine, formerly of Marshall County,
died July 21, 2007.

He is survived by a daughter, Andrea Groft of Bangor, Maine; son, Jonathan J. Nash; and a
brother, George Nash.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 4 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill cemetery, Bourbon.

Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, is in charge of local arrangements.
