Ivis V. Holderread, 73, of 19475 West 5 th Road, Walkerton, passed away Monday November 26, 2001 at 6:50 PM at St. Joseph RMC South Bend Campus in South Bend, IN.

She was born on May 20, 1928 in Marshall County, Indiana to August, Sr. and Ruth Emmons Renz and lived in Marshall County all her life.

Ivis and Othel Holderread were married January 31, 1947 in Plymouth In. Othel preceded her in death on December 22, 1997. Ivis worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Plymouth. She retired from United Technologies. Ivis had been Precinct Committee Chair person for many years. She had been a leader of Camp Fire Girls.

She was a member of the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren and the Tyner Rebekah Lodge #865, Merry Maids and the Ladies Fellowship of the Church.

She is survived by her Son, Donavon and Barbara Holderread of Plymouth, IN, daughter, Linda and Kenneth Pearl of Plymouth, IN, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are Ivis' twin sister, Avis Howard of Bremen, IN, step -mother, Irma Renz of Teegarden, IN, brother, August Jr. Renz of Teegarden, In, brother, James Renz of Teegarden, IN, brother, Elwood Renz of LaPaz, IN, brother, Ron Renz of Walkerton, IN, and sister, Opal Wade of Hastings, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one sister and a son John (Butch) in 1963.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2001 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Van Gilder Funeral Home 300 West Madison Street in Plymouth. Services will be held Friday, November 30, 2001 at 10:30 AM at Pine Creek Church of the Brethren in North Liberty, Indiana with Rev. Norman Replogle officiating. Burial will be at Tyner cemetery in Tyner, IN.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren or the donor's choice.

Richard B. Whiteman, 58, 131124 4A Road, Plymouth, passed away Tuesday November 27, 2001 at 12:45A.M. at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

He was born on June 18, 1943 in Gary to James and Ruby(Howland) Whiteman. Richard and Donna Cherry we married April 18, 1962 in Plymouth, Indiana.

Richard was self-employed as a painter for over 30 years and then owned and operated the Whiteman's Greenhouse for the past several years with his wife Donna.

He was a member of Plymouth Moose Lodge #741 and attended the Plymouth Weselyn Church.

He is survived by Spouse, Donna Whiteman of Plymouth, In. son, Rich Whiteman of Plymouth, In. daughter, Wendy(Wayne) Milligan of Plymouth, In. son, Eric Whiteman of Denver, Colorado. Also surviving are sister, Debra(Roger) Emmons of LaPaz, IN. brother, Jim(Nancy) Whiteman of Plymouth, In. brother, Tom(Maxine) Whiteman of Plymouth, In. father, James() Whiteman of Plymouth, In. and two grandchildren, Megan Whiteman and Brandon Milligan of Plymouth, In. .

Services will be held Saturday, 12/01/2001 11:00 AM at Van Gilder Funeral Home in Plymouth, In 46563 with Rev. Leslie Kephart officiating. Burial will be at the New Oak Hill cemetery on Saturday, December 1, 2001.

Friends may call Friday, 11/30/2001 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Gilder Funeral Home 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth.

Adeline E. Bowles, 89, 11210 Forest Drive, Plymouth, passed away Friday November 2, 2001 at 10:08 PM at Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth.

She was born on March 29, 1912 in LaPorte, Indiana to Henry and Hattie Tanger Spier.

Adeline moved to Plymouth in 1933 from LaPorte, Indiana . Adeline and Thomas Bowles were married November 26, 1934 in Plymouth Indiana, and Tom died on December 30, 1988. Adeline worked for Peoples Drug Store for 18 years and help her husband run the Rialto Theather for 23 years.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Donaldson, IN.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly and Earl Buchert of Plymouth, IN, Granddaughter, Susan and Keith Wickens of Plymouth, IN, Granddaughter, Lynn and Neil Bemenderfer of Indianapolis, IN, Granddaughter, Anne and Kent Janes of Springfield, IL, granddaughter, Gina Serf of Indianapolis, IN, Grandson, Brad and Patty Serf of Indianapolis, IN, and 12 great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her brother Henry Spier Jr. and her son-in-law Frank Serf.

Visitation will be held Monday November 5, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Donaldson. Services will be held Monday November 5, 2001 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Donaldson, Indiana with Rev Brian Deckinger officiating. Burial will be at New Oak Hill cemetery in Plymouth, In.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Donaldson .

She is survived by Her Spouse, Robert Davenport, daughters, Ginger and LeRoy Purk of Wakarusa, IN, Jean Norwood of Elsmere, KY, sister, Marjorie Lightner of Elkhart, IN, brothers, James and Ginny McAfee of Plymouth, In, Don and Carolyn McAfee of Plymouth, In, granddaughter, Angela Norwood of Mishawaka, IN, grandson, Andrew Norwood of Elsmere, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, son Lewis Edwin Warren Jr. in July of 1947, one sister and three brothers.

M. Dianne Fahr, 63, 10913 S, Michigan Road, Plymouth, passed away Friday December 7, 2001 at 2:55 AM at her home after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her family .

She was born on October 4, 1938 in Boone, Iowa to Robert and Martha Burke Lewis. She lived all over the United States and Cuba with her career Army Family.

Dianne and Jerald Fahr were married March 11, 1961 in Shoals, Indiana. They moved to her "real" hometown of Plymouth January 1, 1968 and raised their children here.

Over the years, she was involved in countless service organizations and activities in the community. Dianne especially loved the Girls Scouts, Bowling, Golf, and Genealogy research. She helped many people as they researched their genealogy.

She is survived by Her Spouse, Jerald Fahr of Plymouth, IN. Also surviving are her 3 daughters. They are; Roberta Jeanne and Brian Armontrout and son Eric of Charlottsville, VA. , Dorothy Colleen and Kim Kretowicz and children Katherine and Joseph of Ada, MI, and Amy Ruth and Dan McCarthy and children Brody, Mitchell, Hayden and Lillian of Grand Rapids, MI. "As dear to her as sons" : Paul and Barb Wendel and daughter Olivia of Plymouth, IN., Steve Anglemyer and sons Seth, Wilson and Mac of Mishawaka, IN., Jim and Traci Lacey and Sons Jeremy and Josh Lacey of Mishawaka, In. Brothers Mike and Carole Lewis of Colorado Springs Co., Larry and Carol Lewis of Spokane, WA., Steve and Ana Lewis of Pueblo West, CO., Jim and Sandy Sprouse of Winterport, ME., Tim and Susie Sprouse of Stevens Point WI., Fred and Joanne Sprouse of Breckenridge, CO., Daniel Sprouse of Columbus, IN., and Many nieces, and nephews and very special friends many spanning 3 generations of Dianne's kids. She had a special love for children especially for Grandchildren, hers by birth and by love. Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Robert James and Martha Jean and her step father Lowell Eugene Sprouse and by her grandson Garret Wendel.

Visitation will be held Sunday December 9, 2001 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St. Plymouth, IN. Services will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at the Van Gilder Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Padberg officiating. Burial will be at New Oak Hill cemetery in Plymouth, In.

In lieu of flowers, Dianne wanted memorial donations made to either the Plymouth Fireman's Memorial Scholarship Fund or to Hospice of Marshall County.

He was born on March 9, 1923 in LaCross, WI. to Earl and Gladys Marshall Olds. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War Two. Larry owned and operated the O & H Jewelers of Plymouth, IN. and retired in 1986. He had graduated from the Augustana college and the University of Illinois.

Lawrence and Miriam Y. Hanft were married on February 12, 1950 and she died December 1, 1975. He then married Helen Elkins on September 2, 1976 and she died in July 7, 2001.

He was a member of Plymouth V.F.W Post 1162., Plymouth Elks Lodge, Plymouth Moose Lodge #149 and Plymouth Kilwinning Lodge #149. and on the board of directors of Garden Court.

He is survived by His Son, Gregory Olds and Terry Steiger of Plymouth, IN, Daughters, Pat and Dave Houghton of Plymouth, IN, Cyndi Bottorff of Culver, IN, Barbara (B0) Espich and Jeff Clausen of Hobart, IN, Kathy and Randy Hostetler of Plymouth, IN, Son, Andy and Carol Elkins of Aumsville, OR.. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son and Miriam and Helen.. There are 9 grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren.

Everett L. Worsham, 80, of 4027 20th Road, Tippecanoe, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2002 at 8:40 PM at Miller's Merry Manor-Plymouth in Plymouth.

He was born on February 15, 1921 in Bourbon, Indiana to Alfred and Nellie Hall Worsham. From 1942 to 1945 Everett served in the United States Army. He was stationed in Panama and in England.

Everett and Betty Keyser were married July 6, 1946 in Bourbon, Indiana and made their home in Bourbon until 1966 when they moved to rural Tippecanoe.

Everett enjoyed all types of woodworking and was employed as a carpenter. He also trained harness horses. In 1976, He retired from Divine Heart Seminary.

He was a member of American Legion Post 68, Argos, Indiana.

He is survived by His Spouse, Betty Worsham of Tippecanoe, IN, sons, Lorn Worsham of Niles, MI, Michael and Karen Worsham of Bourbon, IN, brother, Harold and Ruth Worsham of Warsaw, IN. and 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 step great grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son, Tom, in1968 as well as one sister, Grace Price and one brother Hoy Worsham.

Visitation will be held Sunday January 6, 2002 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street in Plymouth. Services will be held Monday January 7, 2002 at 10:30 AM at Van Gilder Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Ruberg officiating. Burial will be at the Summit Chapel cemetery.
