ESTHER BURKE SHEDRON, 85, died Dec. 19 at Swiss Village, Berne. Born in Adams County, she was a Fort Wayne resident most of her life, retiring in 1980 as a registered nurse at Lutheran Hospital after 30 years.
Her husband, La Mar, died in 1995. Surviving are two daughters, Carol S. Bell of Columbus, Ohio, and Cathy S. Dickmeyer of Whitewater, Wis.; two sons, John B. of Brentwood, Tenn., and Paul L. of Long Lane, Mo.; a sister, Lillian Liechty of Berne; and six grandchildren. BETTY B. STULLER, 78, died Monday at home. Born in Kendallville, she retired in 1970 as a machinist at Morrell Motors after 15 years.
Her husband, James Edward, died in 1992. Surviving are three sons, Dennis Allen Stuller, Bernard James Stuller Sr. and Danny Shroyer; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Carter N., died in 1992. Surviving are two daughters, Victoria Anne Cooke of San Antonio and Jeanne Marie Wetzel of Indianapolis; two sons, James C. of Leo and Samuel Lewis of Colorado Springs, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

MARJORIE O. YOUNG, 82, died Tuesday at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Indianapolis, she retired in 1985 as a physical education teacher with Fort Wayne Community Schools after 25 years.
Her first husband, Paul "Curly" Armstrong, died in 1983. Her second husband, Dr. John F. Young, died in 1995. Surviving is a daughter, Susan Armstrong Miller of Fort Wayne; a son, Stephen Armstrong of Fort Wayne; three stepdaughters, Jo Young-Switzer of Roanoke and Carol Lindquist and Barb Young-Miller, both of Fort Wayne; and 14 grandchildren. Her stepdaughter, Sonia L. Young, died in 1972.

He was made a professor emeritus by the Mott Community College Board of Trustees in 1994. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
