Wilson C. Eden
FRANKTON – Wilson C. Eden, 65, Frankton, died unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at his residence.
Born April 15, 1943 in Hartsville, Trousdale County, Tenn., he was the son of Claudie N. and Bessie (Stafford) Eden.
He resided in the Frankton area all his life.
Wilson is an alumnus of Frankton High School graduating with the Class of 1961.
He served with the United States Army from 1961 to 1966 and was honorably discharged as Private First Class. He retired from Guide Lamp, formerly of Anderson, in 1999 after 30 years employment. He was a member of the Alexandria Eagles No. 1771.
Wilson was a lover of the outdoors and his farm. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and vintage cars. He received peace and serenity in the simple act of watching his cows in their pasture.
Survivors include four daughters, Pari Ann Bell of Anderson, Lora and husband, Jon Cain and Leisa Eden, all of Alexandria and Kelinda and husband, Stewart Andrews of Lavergne, Tenn.; four sons, Terry Eden of Anderson, David Eden of Melbourne, Fla., Robert Parks of Fort Wayne and Christopher and wife, Angelic Eden of Alexandria; a sister, Hazel and husband, Perry Jarvis of Elwood; a brother, Gary and wife, Laurie Eden of Elwood; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1986; and his mother in 2003.
Funeral services were today at the Noffze Funeral Home in Alexandria, with the Rev. Herb Richardson officiating. Burial followed in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. The VFW Post 5782 furnished military honors at the graveside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association through the funeral home.

Robert S. McKulsky
FRANKTON – Robert S. McKulsky, Sr., 92, of Frankton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was born Jan. 2, 1916, in Omaha, Neb., the son of the late Frank McKulsky and Mary (Schram) McKulsky.
He married Evelyn Iske May 30, 1936. She survives.
He owned and operated C&M Implement Business in Murray, Neb. for 35 years. He was also a volunteer firefighter in Murray for 35 years.
In 1980 he retired and moved to Frankton. He was a member of the Frankton United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn McKulsky of Frankton; a son, Robert and wife, Ginny McKulsky Jr. of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Sherri and husband, Wayne Ousley of Elwood; grandchildren, Mike and wife, Allison McKulsky of Papillion, Neb., Amy and husband, Keith Kasten of Lone Tree, Colo., Tom and wife, Kelly Ousley of Manassas, Va. and Susan Cleek of Frankton; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Court-ney, Krislyn and Caleb Cleek, Austin and Aubrey Ousley, Mary and Josh McKulsky and Nicholas Kasten.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008 at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ken Mans-field officiating. Burial will follow in the K of P & I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Frankton.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Frankton United Methodist Church.

William H. Kreisher II
CICERO – William H. Kreisher II, 64, Cicero, died at his home on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008.
Born Feb. 9, 1944 in Frankfort, he was the son of William H. and Margaret (Thompson) Kreisher.
He graduated from Frankfort High School in 1962. He attended Hanover College for two years and later received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in forensic science.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietname War. He was a commercial roofing estimator for Hinshaw Roofing in Frankfort.
He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Noblesville, Frankfort American Legion, Frankfort Elks club and National Roofers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Marie (Kinsey) Kreisher; his sons, Tim Kreisher of California, Karl Kreisher of Frankfort and Ryan Adams of Noblesville; his daughters, Hannah Kreisher of Frankfort, Amanda Kreisher of Wisconsin and Erin Clark of Arcadia; a brother, Ken Kreisher of Carmel, a sister, Karen Martin of Indianapolis, and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Noblesville. Pastor Douglas Gast will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to services. Arrangements are being handled by Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to IU Pancreatic Center, 535 Barnhill Dr., RT No. 455, Indianapolis, IN 46202 in memory of William H. Kreisher II.

Peggy S. Cassity
WINDFALL – Peggy S. “Mom” Cassity, 77, Windfall, passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 at Tipton Hospital.
Born March 31, 1931, in Muncie, she was the daughter of Orville and Grace (Harris) Mason.
Peggy was a member of the Kokomo Senior Center and was a past bowler on various leagues in Kokomo. She was considered a “sports nut” who enjoyed watching any sporting event that she could. She was also known to enjoy visiting various riverboat social areas throughout the state.
Peggy retired from the Breakfast House in Kokomo after 30 years as a waitress, only to go back to work at Puckett’s in Kokomo.
She is survived by her children, Michael Joseph and wife, Mary Terrell Sr. of Muncie, Leanard Grubb of Windfall, Molly and husband, Wayne Grubb of Windfall, Nina Everling of Kokomo, Ronda and husband, Tom Patton of Peru and Roger and wife, Allyson Cassity of Windfall; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Marta Grubb; and a great-grandson, Connor Terrell.
Funeral services were today at Porter Funeral Home in Tpton with Chris Ellis officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.

Noah E. Davis
ARCADIA – Noah E. Davis, 95, Arcadia, died Aug. 13, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 10, 1912, in Tipton, to Otis and Stella (Stilabower) Davis.
In June 1931 he married Madeline T. Dunn. She died in March 1991.
He had worked at Stokely Brothers Canning, Delco Remy in Anderson and as a machine repairman at Chrysler, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks in Tipton.
Noah is survived by one son, Jack E. Davis, Tipton; three grandchildren, Rhonda Fowler and husband, Terry, Jeff Davis and wife, Michelle and Debbie Davis; six great-grandchildren, Brittney Davis, Kyle Fowler, Cameron Davis, Ashley Davis, Chad Davis and Corey Fowler; and one daughter-in-law, Dixie Davis, Arcadia.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald E. Davis; one daughter, Joyce Ann Davis and one sister, Ruth Davis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton, with the Rev. Lee Mangold presiding.
Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vista Care, 6431 S. East St., Indianapolis, Ind. 46227.

Rodney A. Mead
ALEXANDRIA – Rodney A. Mead, 69, of Alexandria, died Aug. 11, 2008 at St.Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Noffze Funeral Home in Alexandria.

Daniel Kantner Sr.
ORANGE, Calif. – Daniel Kantner Sr., 67, Orange, Calif., and formerly of Elwood, died July 23, 2008 in California.
He was a 1958 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Dixie Kantner; children, Tara, Daniel Kantner Jr., Debra, David, Dena, Margaret, Douglas and Susan; a brother, John Kantner of Alexandria; a sister, Penny Hunt of Elwood; and several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret Mae (Cox) Kantner and siblings, Carolyn and Michael.
Funeral services took place in California.

William Skelton
William Skelton, 85, of Elwood, died Aug. 11, 2008 at St.Vincent Mercy Hospital.
He was born May 8, 1923, in Lisbon Falls, Maine, to the late Alvoid W. Skelton and Rachel L. (Speckrunthur) Skelton.
He retired from Preferred Utilities in Danburry, Conn.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Inez Rice of Elwood; several stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Evelyn Skelton and second wife, Vivian Skelton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Paul Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by Dunnichay Funeral Home.

Sadie M. Thatcher
Sadie M. Thatcher, 99, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008 at Autumnwood Extended Care in Tipton.
Born Nov. 2, 1908 in Atlanta, she was the daughter of Foster and Laura (Thurston) Collingwood. On Sept. 2, 1926, she married Burl Thatcher. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1954.
She was a member of Eastern Star. She was a housewife and homemaker
She is survived by her children, Ken (Aggie) Thatcher of Atlanta, Verlin Thatcher of Anderson and Ron (Shirley) Thatcher of Tipton; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Porters Funeral Home in Tipton. Pastor Paul Sutherland will officiate. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Windfall.
Calling will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
