MOUNT VERNON, Ind. — May June Storey, 79, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at the North Park Nursing Home in Evansville of cardiac arrest.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Shephard of Mount Vernon; a son, Charles Edward of Fort Lauden, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Troy, Clay and Cheryl Storey, Diane and Kerry Shephard and LaDonna and Chad Pfettscher; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Ralph L., died in 1979.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bellefontaine cemetery. Tygart Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Robert Rowekamp
JASPER, Ind. — Robert L. Rowekamp, 88, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at his home.
He had worked at the former Indiana Chair Co. in Jasper for 50 years.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, Ardella; two daughters, Betty Englert and Marge Gadlage, both of Jasper; a son, Ron of Jasper; two sisters, Catherine Hochgesang of Jasper and Rosemary Teder of Lafayette; a brother, Joe B. of Jasper; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. EST Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in Fairview cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Northwood Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
Gary Catt
VINCENNES, Ind. — Gary J. Catt, 40, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He had worked for Johnson Controls for 11 years. He was a laborer and member of the Hod Carriers Union.
Surviving are his wife, Shawnna (Fisher) of Bicknell; a son, Christopher of Vincennes; his mother, Evelyn Catt of Vincennes; three brothers, Troy, Tracy and David, all of Vincennes; and a grandson.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. EST today at Goodwin Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
Naomi Futrell
CANNELTON, Ind. — Naomi Ruth Futrell, 67, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She suffered from diabetes and congestive heart failure.
She enjoyed drawing and painting.
Surviving are four daughters, Vicki June Henley of Escondido, Calif., Linda Sue Moore of Oakes, N.D., Peggy Jo Harding of Cannelton and Sandra L. Braun of Troy; five sons, Kerry Eugene James Sr. of Bristow, Douglas Edward, John Arnold and Michael Lee James, all of Cannelton, and Joseph David of Tell City; three sisters, Brenda Boone, Mary Bowen and Lucille Fuchs, all of Tell City; 20 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private services and burial are pending at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

Janet Bobe
VINCENNES, Ind. — Janet Bobe, 60, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Good Samaritan Extended Care.
She and her late husband, Bill, who died in 1978, owned and operated Bill Bobe’s Pizzeria since 1954. She continued in the business until her death.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Pam Bobe of Vincennes; a son, David Gus of Vincennes; her mother, Melva Mulheron of Vincennes; a sister, Patty Vieck of Vincennes; a brother, David Mulheron of Salem, Ore.; and two grandchildren, Mackenzie Small and Hunter Gus Bobe.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church, with burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Larry Beebe
MOUNT VERNON, Ind. — Larry T. Beebe, 58, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at his home of a heart attack.
He was the sales manager for the Rice Tire Co. for eight years.
He was an Air Force veteran and member of the American Legion Post 5.
He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and its choir.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Joetta (Bloebaum); two daughters, Megan Alldredge of Bloomington and Le Anne Beebe of Mount Vernon; and two brothers, David J. of Bolton, Mass., and James of Clayton, N.J.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, with burial in Bellefontaine cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Norvell Funeral Home.

Henrietta Bullock
Henrietta Doll Bullock, 73, of Evansville, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital. She was being treated for cancer.
She had worked at the Neisner’s 5 & 10 Store and Harts Drug Store.
She also worked for several years at the Luggage Shop and Elder Beerman.
She was a member of Fairlawn United Methodist Church, Daughters of the Nile Isis Temple 41, No Ruz Grotto, White Shrine and the Charles Denby Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2953 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sisters, Eva Ruth Gentry of Michigan City, Ind., and Gladys June Garrett of Paducah, Ky.; a brother, Andrew Lee Hall of Evansville; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Harold, died in 1976.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fairlawn United Methodist Church, the Revs. Carlos Sanders and Randy Anderson officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, with a memorial service at 7 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to services at the church.

Hazel Hofmann
Hazel E. Hofmann, 88, of Evansville, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at Columbia Health Care Facility.
She was a member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ and enjoyed traveling and playing clabber.
Surviving are a sister, Ruth Hofmann of Evansville; and a niece and a nephew.
Her husband, Carl, died in 1992.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel, the Rev. Thomas F. Webster officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time at the chapel. Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel is handling arrangements.

Charles Thompson
Charles J. Thompson, 78, of Cullman, Ala., formerly of Evansville, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Carraway Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.
He had worked for Bendix-Westinghouse in Alabama, and retired from the Americold Corp. in 1986.
Surviving are a daughter, Babette Hoyle of Asheville, N.C.; two sons, Charles of Hoover, Ala., and David of Allentown, N.J.; and three grandchildren, Alicia Thompson and Stuart and Andrew Hoyle.
His wife, Mary Louise, died in 1999.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Raymond Moore
Raymond Kenneth “Doc” Moore, 82, of Evansville, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at St. Mary’s Health Care Services/Welborn Campus.
He had worked for Evansville Food Distributors as manager and accountant.
He was a World War II Army veteran and survivor of Pearl Harbor.
He was a 45-year member of Evansville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors.
He had played in several minor baseball leagues in his youth. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing clabber.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Julia “Mae” (Adamson); a daughter, Pamela Barrett of Evansville; two sons, Anthony “Tony” of Evansville and Dr. Gary Moore of Newburgh; a sister, Gladys Ruth Quertermous of Corbin, Ky.; a brother, Edwin Moore of Portage, Ind.; six grandchildren, Jamie and Drake Barrett and Courtney, Caitlin, Eric and Raymond Samuel Moore; and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Revs. Timothy Suenram and James Nicholson officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
