NOBLESVILLE -- Michael F. Wainscott, 46, Noblesville, died Feb. 17, 2004.
He was employed by Waitt Trucking in Westfield.
He is survived by five brothers and sisters, Lynn Wainscott, David Wainscott, Mary Molter, Kay Griffith and Jean Fleming; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel with the Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Robert E. Thompson
RADCLIFF, Ky. -- Former Anderson resident Robert E. Thompson, 86, Radcliff, died Feb. 18, 2004, at his residence.
He was a retired General Motors employee and a former employee of SKF/Rolling Bearing Industries. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include seven sons, Burl Allen Thompson, Dale S. Thompson, Paul E. Thompson of Anderson, James Thompson, Jerry Thompson, David L. Thompson of Anderson and Stephen Thompson; half brother, Harlem Thompson; 28 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Elsie Irene Thompson, preceded him in death.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, with Chaplain Peggy Holthaus officiating. Burial will be in North Hardin Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour before service Saturday at the funeral home.

Avis M. Baumgartner
July 3, 1920 -- Feb. 16, 2004
NEW LISBON -- Avis M. Baumgartner, 83, died Feb. 16, 2004, at the Waters Nursing Home in New Castle.
She was born July 3, 1920, in Raleigh, Ind., the daughter of the late George D. and Lilly Keith Rogers. She graduated in 1938 from Lewisville High School. A homemaker, she had lived in the New Lisbon area for the past 77 years and at her current residence since 1951. She was a member of the New Lisbon Christian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Leroy Tout American Legion Post 338 at Dublin.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Lee (wife, Wanda Lee) Baumgartner of Anderson, James Earl Baumgartner of New Castle and David Eugene (wife, Anita) Baumgartner of Rochester, Minn.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Roscoe Rogers of New Castle and Marion Rogers of Straughn.
She was preceded in death by her father on Dec. 19, 1976; her mother on Dec. 22, 1989; her husband of 60 years at the time of his death, Earl "Joe" Baumgartner. They were married
in New Castle on Sept. 9, 1939. He passed away on Feb. 24, 2000; a daughter, Nilah Fairchild; a grandson, Christopher Allen Baumgartner in May of 1979; a brother, George Rogers; and a sister, Bessie Duckworth.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Lisbon Christian Church with the Rev. Mark Lomison officiating. Burial will be in New Lisbon cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin.
Ernest DeFord
Ernest DeFord, 91, Anderson, died Feb. 18, 2004, at St. John's Medical Center.

Willie C. Youngblood
Aug. 23, 1946 -- Feb. 14, 2004
Willie "Richard" Clifford Youngblood, 57, passed away after an extended illness on Feb. 14, 2004.
He was born in Troy, Ala., and had been a lifelong resident of Anderson. He was employed and retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 17 years, Shelia Youngblood; sons, William C. Youngblood of Mesa, Ariz., Clifford D. Youngblood, Leo D. Youngblood and Richard L. Youngblood, all of Anderson; daughters, Wendi R. Youngblood of Atlanta, Ga., Mesha M. Youngblood, Taia S. Youngblood and Terichia J. Youngblood, all of Anderson; 19 grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Haynes and Earlie Burney, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Larsuel of Conyer, Ga., and Annie (husband, Paul) Chamberlain of Anderson; brothers, L.V. Youngblood of Eaton, Ga., and John Youngblood of Conyer, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Mary Youngblood and Olean Youngblood, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Deena (Michael) Brown of Indianapolis; mother-in-law, Runell Tibbs of Indianapolis; brothers-in-law, Danny (wife, Bonnie) Tibbs of Kentucky, Larry Crumpton of Indianapolis and Willie Haynes of Alabama; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Louise St., Anderson, with Pastor Victor L. Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours before the service Saturday at the church.

Rosalyn Ilene (Jeune) Bagshaw, 76, Anderson, died Feb. 16, 2004, at her home after a battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Bushnell, Ill., and lived most of her life in Anderson. She was a homemaker and health care provider.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and a member of the class of 1947 of Anderson High School. She liked playing cards and bingo. She enjoyed life and had lots of friends. She enjoyed going to see Today's Elvis Scotty Zion sing. We will miss her smiling face and warm touch.
Survivors include five children and spouses, Larry Anderson of Fishers, Ricky Anderson of Colorado, Sharon Ann and Robert Biddle, Linda Sue and Jeff Cook, and Debbie and James Phillips, all of Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Myrl and Zammy Jeune of Texas; seven grandchildren, Chris Sparks Sr., Jennifer Morgan, Tammy (husband, Wayne) Haggard, Kimberly Smith, Jason Jones, Michelle (husband, Alfred) Rodriquez and Shawn Phillips; seven great-grandchildren, Chris and Tina Morgan, Chris Sparks Jr., Eric Sparks, Chesley Smith, Emily Smith, Makayla Tillis and Jose Rodriquez; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Bagshaw; parents, Paul and Opal (Leeds) Jeune; and a sister, Florence Whitten.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with the Rev. Sam Muncy officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Jesse Jennings
Jesse Jennings, 70, of Anderson, died Feb. 17, 2004, at ManorCare Health Services.

Richard H. McDonald
April 18, 1944 -- Feb. 8, 2004
THORP, Wis. -- Former Anderson and Pendleton resident Richard H. "Mac" McDonald, 59, Thorp, died Feb. 8, 2004, at the William S. Middleton Veterans Administration Medical Center in Madison.
While residing in the Anderson/Pendleton area he owned a gas station and worked as an electrician and prison guard. He also worked at Firestone as a maintenance electrician. While a resident of Pendleton, he worked for the city's power company for several years.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1971.
Survivors include two children, Heather Eaton and Jason McDonald; two grandchildren; a brother, Fred (Joan) Petke; and two sisters, Cindy (Wayne) Satonica and Patsy (Al) Tetzlaff.
Also surviving is his fiancee, Vera Budzinski.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Thorp with the Rev. Daniel Welch officiating. Burial will be in Gleason cemetery, Gleason, Wis.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Thorp Funeral Home.
Vicki D. Lewman
Sept. 16, 1956 -- Feb. 15, 2004
Vicki D. Lewman, 47, a resident of Anderson, passed away Feb. 15, 2004, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 16, 1956, in Greenfield, and is the daughter of Hollis and Lucille (Zornes) Lewman of Markleville.
She was a 1976 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and had worked at Western Electric. She was a member of the Shirley Christian Church where she was baptized in 1974. She was a member of the Willing Worker of the church and the Elvis Club.
Survivors beside her parents, are a son, Darreck Pierce of Alexandria; a sister, Robin (husband, Mark) Kridler of Anderson; maternal grandfather, Elmer Zornes of Greenfield; a niece, Melissa Toombs of New Castle; and a nephew, Levi Mosby of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Pierce; her maternal grandmother, Anna Zornes; and paternal grandparents, Samuel and Virgie (Planck) Lewman.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Condo & Son Funeral Home, Wilkinson, with James Hill officiating. Burial will be in McCray cemetery in Wilkinson.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Evelyn Roberts
Aug. 19, 1911 -- Feb. 16, 2004
Evelyn Roberts, 92, Anderson, died Feb. 16, 2004, at the home of her granddaughter, after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 19, 1911, in Madison County, the daughter of Millard and Janette (Follis) Bertram. She lived in Anderson all of her life and worked for St. John's Medical Center for many years and was a homemaker.
Evelyn was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Evelyn "Lynn" (husband, Bob) Scott and their children, Dustin (wife, Priscilla) Scott and Kelli (husband, David) McBride; grandson, Richard (wife, Terri) Roberts and their children, Sarah Wall and Michael Wall; stepson, Richard L. (wife, Renee') Roberts Sr.; daughter, Shelia Schockency; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including, Devin, Kayla and Samantha; and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Roberts, in 1972.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Mary M. Crouch
Feb. 17, 1922 -- Feb. 16, 2004
Mary M. (Cottrell) Crouch, 81, of Anderson, died Feb.16, 2004, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Shirley, Ind., and moved to Anderson after her marriage.
She was a homemaker.
She loved gardening and was known to her neighbors as the "Rose Lady." She loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Steve and wife Kathy Crouch of Anderson and Tom Crouch of Anderson; sisters, Joanne Kerr of Anderson; Pauline Blowers of Anderson and Bonnie and husband Jack Trump of Knightstown; brother-in-law, Horace Wilkinson of Shirley; grandchildren, Billy Crouch, Adam Crouch, Ben Crouch, Matt Crouch and special friend Traci Chapman and Josh Crouch; stepgrandchildren, Shelly Teague, James Teague and Paul Teague; great-grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Aryn Smith, Zachary Boyd, Hannah Wehrley, Bailey Teague, Grace Teague, Brynn Teague, Jamison Teague, Ashley Crouch, Austin Crouch, Addison Crouch, Ashley Chapman, Mikey Chapman and Heather Chapman; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert O. Crouch; parents, Samuel and Blanche (Judge) Cottrell; sisters, Wanda Wilkinson and Maggie O'Rear; brothers, John and wife Virginia Cottrell and Guy "Dutch" and wife Thelma Cottrell; and grandson, Stephen Andrew Couch.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the South Chapel.
