Survivors include her parents, Melanie and Patrick Glynn of Elkhart; and three brothers, James, Matt and Ben, all at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sugar Grove Church, Goshen. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today in Elkhart Chapel of Stemm - Lawson - Peterson Funeral Home and one hour before services in the church.

Elsie M. Greber

Jan. 23, 1903 - March 31, 1999

SOUTH BEND - Elsie M. Greber, 96, of Dennis Drive, died Wednesday in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Christian Center Cathedral of Praise, where friends may call one hour before services.

Nov. 23, 1914 - March 30, 1999

ELKHART - Charles D. Hook, 84, of 1520 Florence St., died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday in Elkhart General Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Vivian L. (Ferm); and two daughters, Janet Blyly of Elkhart and Judy Laws of South Bend. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Elkhart Chapel of Stemm - Lawson - Peterson Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Wilbur L. Hooley

Nov. 29, 1921 - March 30, 1999

LAGRANGE - Wilbur L. "Bill" Hooley, 77, of 0460 W. County Road 025 North, died Tuesday in Vencor Hospital, LaGrange. Survivors include his wife, Goldie A. (Nelson); two daughters, Becky Wappes and Jackie Hartman, both of LaGrange; a son, James D. of Kendallville; a sister, Betty Stutzman of LaGrange; and a brother, Lee of Sturgis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Frurip - May Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today.

Christopher Logan Howard

Nov. 16, 1997 - March 29, 1999

KIMMEL - Christopher Logan Howard, 16 months old, of 9558 W. Baseline Road, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Allen County Coroner, Phillip O'Shaughnessy, is investigating the cause of death. Survivors include his parents, Alfred and Mindy (Kline) Howard; and two sisters, Breanna and Ashley Howard, both at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Eastlund Funeral Home - Harris Chapel, where friends may call two hours before services.

Harriet L. Knitter

Dec. 22, 1900 - March 27, 1999

SOUTH BEND - Harriet L. Knitter, 98, of Cedar Street, died Saturday in Healthwin Specialized Care Facility. Survivors include a sister, Nina Shulmier of South Bend. There will be no services or visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Constantine A. Mighion

Nov. 6, 1959 - March 30, 1999

NILES - Constantine A. Mighion, 39, of U.S. 31 North, died Tuesday in Santa Monica Hospital, Tijuana, Mexico, of natural causes. Survivors include his mother, Mary Mighion of South Bend; a sister, Sandra Mighion of South Bend; and a brother, George of South Bend. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church, South Bend. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a Trisigon service will be at 7 p.m.

Charlotte A. Miller

Jan. 22, 1926 - March 31, 1999

MISHAWAKA - Charlotte A. Miller, 73, of West 11th Street, died Wednesday in Hospice House of St. Joseph County, of natural causes. Survivors include her husband, Wayne; a daughter, Georgianna Dye of Elkhart; a stepdaughter, Deanna Bierly of South Bend; a stepson, Jim of Walkerton; a sister, Eleanor Wilson of South Bend; and a brother, William Ives of Yucaipa, Calif. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Thallemer - Goethals Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Paul E. Miller

Nov. 11, 1922 - March 30, 1999

ELKHART - Paul E. Miller, 76, of 318 Arcade Ave., died Tuesday in Elkhart General Hospital, of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Bettylou; four daughters, Sue Larkin of San Antonio, Texas, Ginny Monroe of Huntington Beach, Calif., Marcy Miller of Penryn, Calif., and Julie Miller of El Portal, Calif.; and two sons, Mike of Union and Jeff of Stramwood, Ill. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hartzler - Gutermuth - Inman Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Nov. 13, 1934 - March 30, 1999

CLAYPOOL - Thomas R. "Coach" Miller, 64, of 8330 S. County Farm Road, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in St. John's Health System, Anderson, Ind. Survivors include his wife, Marietta (Whitehead); four daughters, Debra Tarner and Marcia Van Lue, both of Syracuse, Kathy Johnston of Claypool and Mari Leckrone of Akron; a son, Tom of Winona Lake; and three brothers, Amzie of New Carlisle, James of Middlebury and Richard of Bonita Springs, Fla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mennonite Church of Warsaw. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.

NORTH LIBERTY - Lillian A. Peterson, 89, of 304 N. Jefferson St., died Tuesday in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton. Survivors include a daughter, Mary A. Peterson of North Liberty; four sons, Thomas of North Liberty, James of LaPorte, John of South Bend and Earl of Maitland, Fla.; and a sister, Dorothy Thomas of De Witt, Mich. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in North Liberty Church of the Brethern. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in A.M. Manuel Funeral Home.

Feb. 23, 1954 - March 29, 1999

BERRIEN SPRINGS - Sala Asofitu Poua, 45, of 550 Maplewood Court, died Monday in Lakeland Medical Center - St. Joseph, of natural causes. Survivors include her husband, Lauilo Poua; two sons, Almadina F. and Imani L., both of Berrien Springs; her mother, Saofai Falanai of American Samoa; six sisters, Eseta Lauano, Saunoaga Tagai, Moenuu Muafono, Aso Tuaumu, Agalelei Esera and Hana Falanai; and four brothers, Totoa, Masalosalo, Solipo and Tautasi Falanai. Services will be at 7 p.m. today in All Nations Seventh - day Adventist Church, where friends may call one hour before services. Allred Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

SODUS - Herman H. Rosentreter, 81, of 4663 Hillandale, died Wednesday in Watervliet Community Hospital, of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Wilma; three daughters, Sharon Gillette of Kalamazoo, Deanna Crane of Tucson, Ariz., and Diane James of Sodus; a son, Duane of Fort Smith, Ark.; and four sisters, Elsie Klann of Niles, Edna Beimfohr of Fort Myers, Fla., Evelyn Konya of Huntington, W.V., and Betty Granke of Sawyer. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire.

NILES - Pearl I. Rossow, 85, of 622 North 14th St., died Wednesday in Riveridge Manor. Survivors include her husband, John A.; a daughter, Sharon Applegate of Niles; and a son, David J. of Niles. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Halbritter Funeral Home.

PLYMOUTH - Juanita Sanchez, 46, of 801 Broadway, died at 5:06 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, of an apparent heart attack. Survivors include her husband, Juan; a daughter, Maria E. Sanchez of Plymouth; two sons, Kevin Damron of Warsaw and Juan Jr. of Plymouth; her parents, Maria I. and Marcelino Mata of Plymouth; four sisters, Silvia Wagers of Knox and Diana Hancock, Elizabeth Mata and Viola Mata, all of Plymouth; and five brothers, Marcelino Jr., Tiofilo, Max, Rick and George, all of Plymouth. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Van Gilder Funeral Home, where friends may call after 11 a.m. until services.

Robert J. Treesh

Aug 6, 1917 - March 30, 1999

ELKHART - Robert J. Treesh, 81, of 57712 County Road 9 South, died Tuesday in Valley View Healthcare, of natural causes. Survivors include a daughter, Roberta Bain of South Bend. There will be no services or visitation. Hartzler - Gutermuth - Inman Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.

Nettie E. Welch

Oct. 7, 1900 - March 31, 1999

ELKHART - Nettie E. (Pittman) Welch, 98, of Eastlake Nursing Home, died in the nursing home Wednesday, of natural causes. Survivors include two sisters, Mattie V. Fuller of Sun City, Ariz. and Lena Pittman of Elkhart. Services will be at noon Friday in Chapel Hill Mausoleum in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. There will be no services or visitation. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, is handling arrangements.
