BREMEN - Jessie "Oma" Feddema, 87, of 10672 U.S. 6, died Tuesday in her home of natural causes. Survivors include two daughters, Lylah E. Swathwood of Bremen and Margaret Lewis of Spokane, Wash.; three stepdaughters, Griet, Geke and Hillie, all of Holland; and two stepsons, Jelle and Kees, both of Holland. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Johnson - Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Paul Guard

Aug. 1, 1918 - March 29, 1999

KOONTZ LAKE - Paul Guard, 80, of 11408 E. Samuel Drive, died Monday in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Plymouth. Survivors include a son, Dennis of Koontz Lake; three sisters, Phyllis Walters of Nappanee, Marjorie Roeder of Bremen and Lucille Parcell of Arcadia, Fla.; and two brothers, Dean of Nappanee and Robert of Arcadia. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.

Catherine Knoll

July 19, 1907 - March 28, 1999

MICHIGAN CITY - Catherine "Kate" Knoll, 91, of Decatur Street, died at 9:55 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Care Center, South Bend. Survivors include two daughters, Marlene Evans and Mary K. Hawley, both of Golden, Colo.; two sons, Rev. Jerome Knoll of South Bend and Ronald of LaPorte; and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Cashbaugh of Michigan City. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday in Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

Elmer L. Ledger

May 18, 1927 - March 29, 1999

ROCHESTER - Elmer Lee Ledger, 71, of 514 N. Paradise Drive, died Monday in his home of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Thelma J.; a daughter, Judy Underwood of Hebron; and a son, Ross of El Paso, Texas. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fort Bliss, Texas, National cemetery. Friends call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Zimmerman Family Funeral Home.

Lillian M. Lehman

May 28, 1917 - March 29, 1999

MISHAWAKA - Lillian Marie Lehman, 81, of Homewood Avenue, died Monday in St. Joseph Community Hospital of natural causes. Survivors include her husband, Maynard K.; three daughters, Carole Vendrick of San Jose, Calif., Peg Nelson of Sante Fe, N.M., and Dale Shafer of Alamo, Texas; three sisters, Frances Metzler of Wakarusa, and Laura Stack and Charlotte Shriner, both of Elkhart. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, where friends may call one hour before services. Thallemer - Goethals Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Joseph Lyczynski

March 10, 1909 - March 29, 1999

SOUTH BEND - Joseph "Bouncer" Lyczynski, 90, of Portage Road, died Monday in his home. Survivors include two daughters, Tina Wlochowski and Debroah Wojtasik, both of South Bend; and two sons, David of South Bend and Thomas of Phoenix. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Marie E. McLauchlin

July 28, 1909 - March 30, 1999

NILES - Marie E. (Holloway) McLauchlin, 89, of 125 Silverbrook Ave., died Tuesday in her home. Survivors include her husband, Clarence E.; a son, Larry of Grand Haven, Mich.; and three sisters, Olive Camp of Buchanan, and Charlene Parker and Jackie Womack, both of Niles. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Halbritter Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour before services.

NILES - Don Morrow, 67, of Oak Street, died Tuesday in Lakeland Medical Center - Niles. Survivors include his wife, Ellen L. (Jones); two daughters, Lea M. Wierer of New Berlin, Wis., and Lyn Maahs of Sycamore, Ill.; a son, Kurt of Gainesville, Va.; and a sister, Joy Friedkin of West Hills, Calif. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Halbritter Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour before services.

Sept. 28, 1916 - March 30, 1999

DONALDSON - Sister M. Laurice Neumann, 82, of Catherine Kasper Home, died Tuesday in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Plymouth. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Catherine Kasper Chapel, where friends may call from 4:30 to 9 p.m. today. Johnson Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, is handling arrangements.

Johnnie M. Petty

Dec. 7, 1934 - March 26, 1999

SOUTH BEND - Johnnie M. Petty, 64, of North Brookfield Street, died Friday in her home of natural causes. Surviving are a daughter, Gloria Harper of South Bend; a son, Jimmy McIntosh of Westville; a sister, Maxine Stocking of St. Louis; and two brothers, Harry Bellingsley of Minneapolis and Jimmy Bellingsley of St. Louis. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, where friends may call one hour before services. Alford's Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Shaun T. Robinson

Oct. 30, 1980 - March 28, 1999

SOUTH BEND - Shaun Travis Robinson, 18, of North Williams Street, who disappeared Feb. 7, was found Sunday in the St. Joseph River along the 2000 block of Riverside Drive. Rex Rakow, deputy St. Joseph County coroner, ruled the death an accidental drowning. Survivors include a son, DeShaun Jr. of South Bend; his mother, Leola Robinson of South Bend; and his father, Tommie Thomas of Stockton, Calif. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Alford's Mortuary, where friends may call one hour before services.

James M. Rodman

March 13, 1907 - March 29, 1999

LAPORTE - James M. Rodman, 92, of 1700 I. Street, died at 2 a.m. Monday in Countryside Place. Survivors include his wife, Alma; two daughters, Elena Larson of LaPorte and Anita Purkal of South Bend; a son, James Jr. of Hanna; a sister, Belinda Scott of Portland, Ore.; and a brother, Julius Rodman of Olympia, Wash. Graveside military services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kingsbury cemetery. Family visitation will be private. Haverstock Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

James Sandera

Nov. 16, 1909 - March 29, 1999

UNION PIER - James Sandera, 89, of Elm Valley Road, died Monday in St. Anthony Memorial Health Center, Michigan City, of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Mary; and a daughter, Marilyn A. Niswonger of Bourbon. There will be no services or visitation. Pobocik Funeral Home, Connelly - Noble Chapel, Three Oaks, is handling arrangements.

Cleta M. Smith

May 5, 1896 - March 29, 1999

PLYMOUTH - Cleta M. Smith, 102, Miller's Merry Manor, died at 3:05 p.m. Monday in the nursing home. Survivors include three daughters, Edythe Wilson, Bette Parrish and Bernice Books, all of Plymouth. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Van Gilder Funeral Home, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Elpidio Trejo

July 11, 1937 - March 29, 1999

ELKHART - Elpidio Trejo, 61, of 1412 Columbian Ave., died at 6:45 a.m. Monday in Elkhart General Hospital after an illness. Survivors include his wife, Teresa; two daughters, Patricia Trejo of Los Angeles and Araceli Trejo of Elkhart; two sons, Ruben and Sergio, both of Elkhart; his mother, Lina Soto of Mexico; two sisters, Maria Trejo of Mexico and Lupe Ezpinoza of Houston; and three brothers, Antonio of Los Angeles, George of Elkhart and Wences of Chicago. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Billings Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Joan L. Wilson

March 24, 1928 - March 29, 1999

MARCELLUS - Joan L. Wilson, 71, of 52239 Burlington Road, died Monday in LakeView Community Hospital, Paw Paw, of natural causes. Survivors include two sons, Darrell of Logansport, Ind., and Kerry of Marcellus; and two sisters, Ruth Heath of Marcellus and Doris Jones of Lancaster, Calif. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Mater Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.

NILES - Mary L. Ames, 79, of 2004 S. 17th Street, died Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital, Plymouth. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Miller of Clearfield, Utah; and two sons, James Westcott of Niles and Dennis Westcott of Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Pifer - Smith Funeral Home, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
