Doris M. Cook
age 78; of New Albany
Funeral services for Doris M. Cook, 78, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14, at the Salvation Army, 2300 Green Valley Rd., New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was a native of New Albany, was the former Doris M. Jackson and was retired from the New Albany-Floyd County School System where she was the cafeteria manager at Scribner Junior High School. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Cook, Floyds Knobs and Michael Cook, Porch Orange, Fla.; a daughter, Linda McKinley, New Albany; a brother, Harry Jackson, Fort Wayne; four sisters, Gladys Plummer, Dunedin, Fla., Lillian Bunch, Xenia, Ohio, Barbara Howsen, Clarksville and Carolyn Hop, Jeffersonville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Cook.
Visitation at the Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Salvation Army.
Charles M. Hooberry
age 81; of New Albany
Funeral services for Charles M. Hooberry, 81, of New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, at Kraft Funeral Home, Charlestown Road Chapel, with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Wedgewood Healthcare Center, Clarksville.
He was retired from International Harvester, a native of St. Louis, Mo., and a member of Kosair Shriner's in Louisville. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 338, New Albany, the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and Trinity United Methodist Church, New Albany.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Priest Hooberry; a daughter, Diana L. Jensen, Nampa, Idaho; James M. Hooberry, New Albany; a grandson and a great-grandson.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13.
Shirley Ann Miller
age 67; of Floyds Knobs
Funeral services for Shirley Ann (Bright) Miller, 67, of Floyds Knobs, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at St. Mary's of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery
in Floyds Knobs. She died on Thursday, April 10, 2003, at her residence.
She was born in Edinburgh, Indiana, the daughter of the late Fred and Helen (Barns) Bright and a retired employee from General Electric Company where she worked as an executive secretary for 37 years.
Survivors include her husband, Melbert "Bud" Miller; sister, Rea James, Placencia, Calif.; brother, David Bright, Springfield, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Generations Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.
Emery Andrew Feller
age 91; of Corydon
Funeral services for Emery Andrew "Andy" Feller, 91, of Corydon, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Corydon. He died on Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
He was a native of Harrison County, born January 14, 1912 to the late George Ephraim and Anna Belle Heishman, a retired farmer, a former employee of Kohler Manufacturing Company in New Albany and the former owner of Andy Feller Lumber and Grain Trucking Company, and a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Christine Cunningham; two sons, Howard Andrew Feller and Bobby Dale Feller, both of Corydon; three daughters, Margaret Evelyn Chaffin and Mary Ruth Conrad, both of Corydon, Ruby Jean Uhl, New Washington; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and after 8 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Evelyn Dunn Coyte
age 88; New Albany native
A memorial services for Evelyn Dunn Coyte, 88, of Louisville, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Douglass Boulevard Christian Church, 2005 Douglass Blvd., Louisville. She died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, a Norton Hospital, Louisville.
She was a native of New Albany and a member of Douglass Boulevard Christian Church and the Women's Club of Louisville.
Survivors include two daughters, Dona Badgett and husband, Carl of Houston, Texas and Bonnie Keeney and husband, Dennis, San Dustin, Fla.; grandchildren, Kevin Anderson, Don Keeney, Carla Badgett-Shields and Kevin, Kyle and Krey Keeney; a great-granddaughter, Katherine Keeney; and a sister, Kathryn Dunn Olson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Coyte in 1982.
Visitation at Pearson's Funeral Home, Louisville, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 5.
Private graveside services will be held.

Charles H. Crawford
age 83; WWII Army veteran
Funeral services for Charles J. Crawford, 83, of Jeffersonville, were held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 5, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. He died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.
He was a native of Jeffersonville, an Army veteran of World War II and a retired dairyman from Old Kannapple and Sealtest. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth P. Crawford; two sons, William L. Barney, La Puente, Calif., and Steven T. Crawford, Jeffersonville; two daughters, Brenda L. Chambers, Jeffersonville and Rhonda E. Folks, Jamaica Queens, N.Y.; a sister, Ramona Grant, New Albany; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles H. Crawford Jr.
Visitation was held Wednesday at the funeral home.
Virginia E. "Ginny" Dallam
age 72; homemaker
Virginia Elizabeth "Ginny" Dallam, 72, of Louisville, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, at St. Matthews Manor, Louisville.
She was the former Virginia Crump of Raytown, Missouri, a homemaker and a radiological technician for several years at the old Norton Infirmary.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Richard Duncan Dallam; two sons, Gregory and Eric Dallam; two grandchildren, Danielle and Jack Dallam; and her brother, John Crump.
Funeral services will be private with burial in New Albany National Cemetery
at a later date.
Pearson's Funeral Home, Louisville, is in charge of arrangements.

Stella Leanna Holbrook
age 71; homemaker
Funeral services for Stella Leanna Holbrook, 71 of Jeffersonville, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel A.M.E Church and the Missionary Society of the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Regina L. Harris and Danita M. Holbrook, Jeffersonville; a sister, Louise L. Young, Jeffersonville; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie P. Holbrook and a daughter, Dana Holbrook.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 11 a.m. Friday.
Jack C. Petricko
age 65; Vietnam veteran
Funeral services for Jack D. Petricko, 65, of New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Generations Funeral Home, New Albany, with cremation to follow. He died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at his home.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietname War and worked as an electric engineer for the United States Army. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Hobart Beach Post 1693 and American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28, both in New Albany and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen DeJohnette, New Albany; twin brother, George Petricko, Maryland; a sister, Jean Webber, S.C.; and grandchildren, Ashley and Geneva DeJohnette, New Albany.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 9 a.m. Saturday.
