Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Emmert of Mishawaka; and a sister, Edna Himes of Warsaw. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Jashawn JuRod Parchman

May 22, 1997 - July 16, 1998

SOUTH BEND - - Jashawn JuRod Parchman, 13 months, of South Chapin Street, died Thursday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his mother, Gussie Hardy, and his father, Roderick Parchman, both of South Bend; a sister, De,Ja of South Bend; and a brother, Kynast Frison of South Bend. Services will be at noon Monday in Alford's Mortuary, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to service time.

Joseph E. Shula

March 10, 1914 - July 3, 1998

SOUTH BEND - - Joseph E. Shula, 84, of North Sheridan Street, died July 3 in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Survivors include two sons, Robert J. and Timothy A. Shula, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Pearl K. Jaworski of South Bend; and a brother, Peter J. Ciula Jr. of South Bend. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St Adalbert Catholic Church. Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, is handling arrangements.

Hubert B. Smith

May 3, 1925 - July 18, 1998

SOUTH BEND - - Hubert Brown Smith, 73, of South 34th Street, died Saturday in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Survivors include his wife, Cole; a son, David E. of Elkhart; two sisters, Phyllis Brooks of Indianapolis and Hildred Scott of Frankfort, Ind.; and six brothers, Eugene and Kenny, both of Indiana, Herbert of California, Richard and Cletus, both of Texas, and Royce of Delphi, Ind. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Robert J. Wendt

Oct. 14, 1919 - July 18, 1998

SOUTH BEND - - Robert J. Wendt, 78, of Healthwin Nursing Home, died Friday in the nursing home. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Trattles and Kathryn Strader, both of South Bend; and a brother George Wendt of South Bend. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Christine E. Wiser

Feb. 27, 1920 - July 16, 1998

GRANGER - - Christine E. Wiser, 78, of Stoneham Way, died Thursday in her home. Survivors include three daughters, Gretchen Stamp of Granger, Kathleen McGee of St. Charles, Ill., and Charlotte Pillar of Downers Grove, Ill.; and a brother, William Fischer of Kankakee, Ill. Services will be Thursday in St. Anne (Ill.) Catholic Church. Hickey Funeral Home, South Bend, is handling local arrangements.

Jan. 8, 1928 - Oct. 20, 1998

SOUTH BEND - Margaret Buczolich, 70, of Dubail Street, died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include a son, Matthew J. of South Bend. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Highland cemetery. Zahorah Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Eunice T. Crockett

Oct. 13, 1937 - Oct. 20, 1998

MISHAWAKA - Eunice T. Crockett, 61, of Iroquois, died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband, William B.; five daughters, Lecia McGinnis of South Bend, Joyce Smith of Evanston, Ill., Adrienne Chandler, Cynthia Chandler and Yvette Chandler, all of Chicago; four sons, Earvin Bizzle of Flint, Mich., Frederick Chandler and Stephan Chandler, both of Chicago, and Kacey Chandler of South Bend; three sisters, Mary Alice Amos of Sun Flower County, Miss., Eula Williams of Houston, and Jerri Gandy of Chicago; and five brothers, Henry and Robert Bizzle, both of Flint, Jimmy Bizzle of Madison, Wis., Earvin Bizzle of Indianapolis and Reuben Bizzle of Hampton, Va. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Faith Christian Center, where friends may call one hour before services. Alford's Mortuary, South Bend, is handling arrangements.

Jack F. Daly

July 27, 1929 - Oct. 20, 1998

SOUTH BEND - Jack F. Daly, 69, of South 26th St., died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Zelda Margaret (Boner); three sisters, Alberta Barone, Carole I. Daly and Patsy E. Eakins, all of South Bend; and a brother, Vernon H. of Bear Lake, Mich. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Hilda J. Dobecki

Nov. 30, 1911 - Oct. 18, 1998

SOUTH BEND - Hilda J. Dobecki, 86, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in her home. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Dobecki of Columbus, Ohio, and JoAnn Dobecki Shopbell of Twin Falls, Idaho; and a sister, Helen DeWees of Elkhart. Memorial services are scheduled at 3 p.m. Saturday in Albright United Methodist Church, Mishawaka. There will be no visitation. Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville, is handling arrangements.

SOUTH BEND - Mary Louise Dockery, 54, of West Ford Street, died Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Davis and Gloria Dockery, both of South Bend, and Margaret Hamlin of Denver, Colo.; a son, Sylvester of South Bend; three sisters, Alice Munn, Annie R. Dockery and Betty G. Bell, all of Memphis, Tenn.; and a brother, J.C. Dockery of Memphis. Services will be at noon Friday in New Life Baptist Church. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Alford's Mortuary.

Lucy E. Fisher

Sept. 28, 1901 - Oct. 19, 1998

SOUTH BEND - Lucy E. Fisher, 97, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Monday in John Knox Village Nursing Center, Tampa. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Highland cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road.

Aline H. Hoskins

Dec. 25, 1925 - Oct. 19, 1998

SOUTH BEND - Aline Hazel Hoskins, 72, of Irish Hills, died Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Carpenter and Shelia Perry, both of South Bend; a son, Johnny Ray Carpenter of South Bend; three sisters, Minnie Hughes and Flora Richardson, both of South Bend, and Ella Means of Indianapolis; and a brother, William Duff of Indianapolis. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Alford's Mortuary.

John R. Jankowski

April 14, 1906 - Oct. 21, 1998

SOUTH BEND - John R. Jankowski, 92, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, died Wednesday in the retirement home. Survivors include his wife, Irene (Szymanski); a daughter, Maryanne Jackovitz of Monroeville, Pa.; a son, Ernest of South Bend; and a brother, Edward of North Fort Myers, Fla. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Retirement Community, where friends may call one hour before services and a rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

SOUTH BEND - Margaret L. Kronewitter, 81, of Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Southeast Drive, South Bend, died Tuesday in the nursing center. Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Little of Sherwood, Ark.; and a son, Ronald of Brentwood, Calif. There will be no services or visitation. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Joseph F. Muellner

Aug. 22, 1906 - Oct. 21, 1998

MISHAWAKA - Joseph F. Muellner, 92, of Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died Wednesday in the center. Survivors include a sister, Betty Scott of South Bend. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., where the rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. today.

Zane Anthony Ullery

Oct. 18, 1998

OSCEOLA - Zane Anthony Ullery, infant son of Tracey S. McWilliams of Adams Street, was dead at birth Sunday in Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart. Survivors include a sister, Trysten McWilliams, and a brother, Sheldon McWilliams, both at home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Olive cemetery. There is no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
