Funeral services for Rev. Darrell J. Windell, 74, of Corydon, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, with burial in the Heidelberg Cemetery
in Corydon. He died Friday, July 30, 2004, at his home in Corydon.
He was a retired employee of 27 years at Public Service Indiana and a farmer. He was owner and operator of D. J. Windell Electrical Contractors. He was a member of Highland Avenue Holiness Church. He was on the Board of the Latin American Ministries and a licensed minister for the Latin American Ministries. He was a previous pastor at Evangelistic Ministries at Paoli, Ind. and at Shiloh Wesleyan Methodist Church in Corydon.
Survivors include his two sons, Lloyd K. Windell and Kenneth R. Windell, Corydon; daughters, Kathryn Keehn, Corydon and Elizabeth A. Smith, Tallahassee, Fla.; sisters, Jeanette Watson and Evelyn Brown, both of Corydon; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carletta in 1991 and by his second wife, Judy Lea in 2003; a brother, John Harold Windell; and a grandson, Jonathan Windell.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Aug. 2 and after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Latin American Ministries in care of the Highland Avenue Holiness Church in Corydon.
Corda Frederick Wiseman
23; of Mauckport
Funeral services for Corda Frederick Wiseman, 23, of Mauckport, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery
near Mauckport. She died Saturday, July 31, 2004, near Mauckport.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Aug. 2, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, and after 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4.
Miles Townsend
61; Providence High School graduate
Funeral services for Miles Townsend, 61, of Clarksville, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes. He passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at his home.
He was a native of New Albany and was a retired employee of the Paducah and Louisville Railroad. He was a graduate of Providence High School and was very active in the Southern Indiana Youth Boosters.
Survivors include his wife, Ann (Book) Townsend; a son, Todd Townsend, Hamilton, Ohio; three daughters, Debbie Fancher, Warrenton, Ohio, Tiffany Will Sald, Singapore and Brittany Will Cornwell, Clarksville; a sister, Linda Miller, Floyds Knobs; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, July 30 and after 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31.
Glen N. Neeley
72; Army veteran
A memorial service for Glen N. Neeley, 72, of New Albany, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes. He died Monday, July 26, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services after an extended illness.
He was a native of Jonesville, Va., and retired owner of Hoosier Termite and Pest Control. He attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, the former Muriel Craig; three sons, Lynn Neeley and wife, Vicki, Richmond, Va.; Jimmy Tanksley and wife, Susie, New Albany and Dr. Steven Neeley and wife, Rita, New Albany; one daughter, Glenda Neeley, Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Ray Neeley, Fairborn, Ohio; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 2 p.m. Saturday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice and Palliative Care of Southern Indiana.
Bernard 'Bernie' W. Ash
60; of Florida
A memorial service for Bernard "Bernie" W. Ash, 60, of Florida, will be held, Monday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m., at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville.
He was born Oct. 5, 1943, in Louisville and passed away July 24, 2004, in Jacksonville, Fla. where he and his family has resided since 1980. He was a diehard Kentucky Wildcat fan.
He was the loving husband of 28 years to Bonnie Ash, the caring father of four children, Bill and his wife, Kim, Doug, Shawn and his wife Vivian and Sherri Jo. He is also survived by his mother, Naomi Roth; a brother, Ray Ash and his wife, Linda and his grandchildren, Nickie and T.J.

73; formerly of New Albany
A celebration of life service for Jeann Lee (nee Budd) Frank, 73, of Grayslake, Ill., formerly of New Albany, will be held at 10:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Crossroads Church, 1350 State Route 137, Grayslake, Ill. She passed away Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Victory Lakes Assisted Care Facility in Lindenhurst, Ill., following a battle with brain cancer.
Visitation will be at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere St., Grayslake, Ill. from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1.
Mary 'Rosie' Lampkin
76; former Charlestown resident
Funeral services for Mary "Rosie" Lampkin, 76, of Gibsonton, Fla., formerly of Charlestown, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Charlestown, with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. She died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at the Health Center of Merritt Island in Merritt Island, Fla.
She was a native of New Albany and a former resident of Charlestown. She was former owner of Lampkin Midway Beautiful Shows of Gibsonton and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church Mission in Tampa, Fla. She was also a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Greater Tampa Showmen's Association.
Survivors include a brother, Joseph Albert O'Bryan, Sellersburg; a sister, Mary Agnita Ledbetter, Charlestown and several nieces and nephews who cared for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas V. and Eulalia Ray O'Bryan; brothers, Larry Edward, Charles Eugene and Thomas Floyd O'Bryan; a brother-in-law, Ben D. Ledbetter; sister-in-law, Mary Ann O'Bryan and a niece, Mary Lou Clapp.
Visitation at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, Friday, July 30. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Wilfred L. Missi
77; Navy veteran
Funeral services for Wilfred L. Missi, 77, of Starlight, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, July 30, at St. John's Starlight Catholic Church, with burial in St. John's Starlight Cemetery. He died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Service.
He was a Navy veteran, a member of American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28 and retired from MKM Machine Shop in Clarksville. He was also a lifetime member of St. John's Catholic Church, Starlight.
Survivors include his wife, the former Martha Lee Schmidt; a son, Michael Missi and his wife, Becky, Starlight; two daughters, Vickie Armes, New Albany and Myra Batliner and her husband, Joseph Batliner Jr., Floyds Knobs; four sisters, Viola Eckert and Evelyn Hodges, Sellersburg, Charlotte Wilson, Scottsburg and Edith Grantz, Starlight; two brothers, Eddie Missi, Floyds Knobs and Roy Missi, Sellersburg and four grandchildren, Eric Missi and wife, Amber, Allison Missi, Bryan Batliner and Amy Batliner.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Missi.
Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, July 29.

Mary L. Thomasson
74; Utica native
Funeral services for Mary L. Thomasson, 74, of Utica, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in the Utica Hillcrest Cemetery. She died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
She was a native of Utica, a homemaker and a member of Utica Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell L. Thomasson, Lexington and Rusty B. Thomasson, Charlestown; two daughters, Catherine F. Lewis, Lexington and Karen A. Parnell, Utica; five brothers, Clarence W., Donald L., Jerry P. and Carl R. Snelling, all of Utica and Dale E. Snelling, Sellersburg; 17 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Thomasson Jr. and her parents.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, July 29.
