Funeral services for Sandra Lynn Craig Stonecipher, 47, New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Kraft Funeral Services, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, with cremation to follow. She died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, N.C.
She was a project engineer for VCC Construction Company and a Navy veteran. She attended Covenant Christian Church in Clarksville.
Survivors include her husband, John Stonecipher; a son, Shane Matthew Smith, New Albany; a daughter, Shannon Marie Dewberry, New Albany; two stepsons, John E. Stonecipher Jr. and Adam D. Williams, both of New Albany; a stepdaughter, Rebecca I. Salkeld; Charlestown; her father, Gerald Craig, St. Louis, Mo.; her mother, Joan Hubbard, Corydon; two brothers, Dennis L. Craig, Lanesville and Douglas Edwin Craig, Placentia, Calif.; four sister, Sue Ellen Branham, New Albany, Leah Ann Kaczmark, Baraboo, Wis., Edwina Marie Shingleton, Sellersburg, Patricia Jo Schutz, Baraboo, Wisc.; her parents-in-law, Edmond and Phyllis D. Stonecipher, New Albany and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, July 26, at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Katherine M. Worrall Voignier
92; of New Albany
Funeral services for Katherine M. Worrall Voignier, 92, of New Albany, were held at 10 a.m. this morning, Monday, July 26, at Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, with burial in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, New Albany. She died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Providence Retirement Home, New Albany.
She was a native of Charlestown, worked as the restaurant manager for the old J.J. Newbury's Restaurant in New Albany and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Albany.
Survivors include two children, Juanita M. Coffman, New Albany and Robert L. "Sonny" Voignier, Cape Cod, Fla.; two granddaughters, Tammy Sidighi and Timi Coleman, both of Fort Myers, Fla.; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday, July 25, at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Anita Kay DeVore, 51, of Depauw, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. She died Friday, July 23, 2004, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Visitation was after 8 a.m. today, Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Edythe M. Lloyd, 79, of Salem, were held at 1 p.m. today, Monday, July 26, at Dawalt Funeral Home, Salem, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem. She died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at her home.
Visitation was Sunday, July 26, and after 8 a.m. this morning at the funeral home.
Jonathan Tobey "JT" Wathen

Funeral services for Jonathan Tobey "JT" Wathen, 27, of Charlestown, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. He died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, in Jeffersonville.
He was a native of Louisville.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, John L. and Joyce Wathen, Charlestown; his mother, Jean Wathen, Jeffersonville; brother, Jerry DuVall, Charlestown; a sister, Ronda DuVall, Jeffersonville and his grandmother, Lorena Latham, New Albany and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 14 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Donald E. Sappenfield
75; of New Albany
A memorial service for Donald E. Sappenfield, 75, of New Albany, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Trinity United Methodist Church in New Albany. He died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, at his home.
He was a native of Ft. Dodge, Iowa and a self-employed insurance broker with ANSAC Inc. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Albany. He was also a member of Floyd County Kiwanis Club and Masonic Lodge in Fredericksburg, Ind. He was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, the former Shirley Sue Payne; a son, David O. Sappenfield, Pomeroy, Wash.; a daughter, Anne Sappenfield, Louisville; a stepson, Stephen Schulz, New Albany; two brothers, George Sappenfield, Mesa, Ariz. and Robert Sappenfield, Sacramento, Calif.; four sisters, Susan M. Sappenfield, Palmyra, Verna M. Hicks, Auburn, Calif., Ruth Bega, Floral City, Fla. and Lou Bursewitz, Missouri; and a granddaughter, Jamie Schulz, Corydon.

Efrain Couvertier, 50, of Bronx, N.Y., died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Calvary Hospital, New Rochelle, N.Y.
Survivors include his mother, Angelina Couvertier; two brothers, Eufemio Couvertier, Jr. and Reuben Couvertier; three sisters, Mary Anne Ochoa, Yvette Martinez and Betty Woodrum and seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, will be from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15. The body will be cremated.
Nelda DeCamp Gilbert
79; Census Bureau retiree
Funeral services for Nelda DeCamp Gilbert, 79, of Charlestown, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Medical Center of Southern Indiana.
She was a native of Clark County and a retired supervisor for foreign trade at the Bureau of Census. She was a past Worthy Matron of Blazing Bright Chapter 587, Order of Eastern Star and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Gilbert, Charlestown and a grandson, Allen Gilbert, Charlestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elden D. Gilbert.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Mary Frances 'Billie Nana' Franklin
78; of Charlestown
Funeral services for Mary Frances "Billie Nana" Franklin, 78, of Charlestown, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Grayson Funeral Home, New Washington, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. She died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, in Franklin, Tenn.
She was a native of Clark County, a housewife and a member of Hibernia Christian Church.
Survivors include four sons, James "Bub" Franklin and David Franklin, Charlestown and Edward Franklin and Robert "Tuff" Franklin, Marysville; four daughters, Patricia Stricker, Charlestown, Bonita Perkins and Kathy Jones, Marysville and Peggy Hostettler, Franklin, Tenn.; three brothers, Melvin Baird, Marysville, Jim Baird, Charlestown and George Baird, Madison; three sisters, Lula Jones, Marysville, Virginia Cooper, Charlestown and Mildred Hobbs, New Washington; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Franklin.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 13 and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Pauline Kramer Royse
85; of Clarksville
A memorial service for Pauline Kramer Royse, 85, of Clarksville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 at St. Anthony Church, Clarksville. Her body was donated to University of Louisville Medical School. She died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004 at Wedgewood Health Care Center, Clarksville.
She retired from Murphy and Cloyd Drug Store in Jeffersonville, and was also an employee at Bych's Department Store in Louisville.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis and Gary Royse; grandsons, Anthony, Joshua and Phillip Royse; a brother, John F. Kramer, Vero Beach, Fla.; sisters, Mary E. Jenkins, Ann Vissing, Patricia Neihous and Dolores Oliver, all of Jeffersonville and 26 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Fred Royse; her parents, Charles A. and Glenna Mary Sage Kramer; brothers, Charles, George and Duffy; and a sister, Lillian Kramer Blucher.
