Funeral services for Rachele Lynn Walker, 36, of Salem, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Branham Tabernacle, Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow. She died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at his home.
She was a native of North Collins, N.Y., a homemaker and a member of Pekin Saddle Club and Branham Tabernacle. She was also a leader for Boy Scout Pack 26 and substitute leader for W. Washington School District.
Survivors include her husband, Lyndon L. Walker; three sons, Benjamin P., Joshua D. and Luke I. Walker, all of Salem; her father, Donald L. Lavin, Salem; brother, Jonathan L. Lavin, Salem and a sister, Rebecca R. Voelz, Salem.
Visitation at Coots Funeral Home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to a trust fund in memory of Rachele Walker, at Spring Valley Bank and Trust, Borden, in honor of her three sons.
David L. Berg
age 66; retired teacher
A memorial services for David L. Berg, 66, of Louisville, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Jeffersonville High School. He died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a retired teacher and football coach at Jeffersonville High School. He was a social worker at Neighborhood House and a Zookeeper at the Louisville Zoological Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Ingram Buster; two sons, Eric Davis Berg Roland and Christian Campbell and a daughter, Sara-Christina.

Mary M. Bright
age 79; of Franklin
Funeral services for Mary M. Bright, 78, of North Vernon, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Pickett Funeral Home, with burial in Vernon Cemetery. She died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003. at Franklin United Methodist Community.
She was a native of Henryville and co-owned a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Helen Green
age 92; of Lanesville
Funeral services for Helen Green, 92, of Lanesville, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery
in Lanesville. She died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at Rolling Hills Healthcare Center.
She was a native of Harrison County, a telephone operator at Lanesville and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lanesville.
Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Pezzullo, Indianapolis, Diana Green, Jeffersonville and Rosemary Horsley, New Albany; a sister, Anna Donahue, New Albany; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Green.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 13, and after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the funeral home.
Stephen Anthony Deeds

Graveside services for Stephen Anthony Deeds of Jeffersonville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry L. and Tracy A. Deeds, Jeffersonville; maternal grandparents, Mike and Nancy Lauricella, Niles, Mich.; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Barbara Deeds, South Bend and great-grandmother, Doris Lauricella, Manton, Mich.

Karen Sue Bary Kruer
age 49; of New Albany
Funeral services for Karen Sue Bary Kruer, 49, of New Albany, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey, with burial in the Marengo Cemetery. She died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 2, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home.
Jacqueline L. Tanner
age 77; of New Albany
A memorial mass for Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Beeler Tanner, 77, of New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Albany, with inurnment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was the daughter of John and Virginia (Mathers) Beeler, born Aug. 27, 1926 in New Albany. She graduated from Ursaline Academy in Louisville, worked 32 years before retiring from Glanz Plumbing-Heating-Cooling as a bookkeeper. After that, she worked for Hagedorn Collision Center. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of New Albany where she was a Eucharistic Minister, the Legion of Mary, St. Mary's soup kitchen and a volunteer receptionist at the school. She also worked as a member of the Humane Society, the USO Club, Cursillo Community at Mt. St. Francis and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693.
Survivors include two children, June Kochert and husband, (Steve) and Jim Tanner and wife, (Sandy), all of New Albany; a half sister, Harriette "Sunny" Barr of Taylorsville, Ky.; an aunt, Aunt Willetta "Willie" Scott; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph Tanner (Nancy); a half sister, Marie Engler; and a great-grandchild, Hilary Metzmeier.
Memorial visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Generations Funeral Home. A rosary service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to either the Jackie Tanner Memorial Fund for St. Mary's students or Hospice and Palliative Care of Southern Indiana.
T. J. "Tubby" Wagner
age 85; retired railroad employee
Funeral services for T. J. "Tubby" Wagner, 85, of New Albany, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Green Valley Care Center, New Albany.
He was a retired clerk for the Railway Express where he worked for 38 years and he build Harley-Davidson motorcycle engines for 40 years. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and the Railway Express Safety Division. He was a avid fox hunter and was a breeder and trained fox hounds. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel A. Hensler Wagner.
Survivors include a son, Robert J. Wagner, Clarksville; a brother, William Wagner, Fla.; a sister, Teid Wagner, Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Angela Wagner-Billups and Scott and Jeff Wagner and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 and after 10 a.m. Friday.
Bonita R. Arnold
age 71; of Corydon
Funeral services for Bonita R. Arnold, 71, of Corydon, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, with burial in Loudens Chapel Cemetery
near Depauw. She died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Harrison County Hospital.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 2, and after 8 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home.
Mary "Pat" Garr Hollowell
age 76; of Louisville
Mary "Pat" Garr Hollowell, 76, of Louisville, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at her residence.
She was a 1949 graduate of St. Joseph's Infirmary School of Nursing, attended St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church and was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Wayne Hollowell; children, Peggy Greenwell, Jeffersonville, Teresa Greenwell, Louisville, Barbara Hall, New Albany and Gregory Hollowell, Fairdale; two sisters; one brother; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home.
