Isabelle Watson
76; of New Albany
Funeral services for Isabelle Watson, 76, of New Albany, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Green Valley Care Center, New Albany.
She was a native of New Albany and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Albany and Georgetown Community Church.
Survivors include a son, J.D. Watson, Georgetown; four daughters, Debbie Watson, Greenville, Connie A. Thomas, New Albany and Terry Deming and Becky Trinkle, Georgetown; a sister, Mary Graham, New Albany; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Watson.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 19.
Pauline Napier Crosley
80; of Brownsburg
Graveside services for Pauline Napier Crosley, 80, of Brownsburg, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. She died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004.
Born Nov. 5, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Delia Napier Slone. She was the widow of Eugene Crosley. She worked for 15 years for Stop & Shop grocery stores before retiring. She enjoyed needlework and reading and was a member of Ben Davis Christian Church, Indianapolis.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Crosley, Brownsburg; a daughter, Geraldine "Jerry" Slone-Orange, Brownsburg; three brothers, J.D. Slone, Jacksonville, Fla., Dexter Slone, Chicago, Ill. and Charles "Ned" Slone, Hazard, Ky.; a sister, Wanda Slone, Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Tammy French Baird and Jimmy Cole, Brownsburg; great-grandchildren, Dustin Laney, Bryson Baird and Calista Cole, all of Brownsburg and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Napier and Herbert Bowling.
Visitation will be private. Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, is in charge of arrangements.

Dr. Charles R. Bennett
84; World War II veteran
A memorial service for Dr. Charles R. Bennett, 84, of Jacksonville, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Chapel of the Cypress Village, Jacksonville. He died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004.
He was born in Indianapolis on Aug. 15, 1920, was a graduate of the University of Louisville Dental School, had a dental practice in New Albany, Ind., for 31 years, served in the United States Army during World War II and was an avid tennis player.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Jean (Patrick) Bennett; a son, Garry Bennett, New Albany; three daughters, Linda (Lonnie) Warman, Thousand Oaks, Calif., Diane (Steve) Thompson, Jacksonville and Sally (Scott) DeWees, Borden, Ind.; two grandchildren, Shannon and Ashley Thompson; and several other relatives and friends.
Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, Fla., is in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy Ann Koch Bjornson
75; retired teacher
Funeral services for Dorothy Ann "D.A." Koch Bjornson, 75, of Rock Island, Ill., were held recently at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with burial in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. She died Oct. 10, 2004 at her home.
She was born Oct. 26, 1928 in Rock Island to Christian and Ruth Jeannette (Weltman) Koch. She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1946, obtained a degree in speech education from Augustana College and was employed at Moline's John Deere Junior High School from 1950 to 1952.
She married Marion C. Bjornson on July 12, 1952. Bjornson was a part-time instructor in the Augustana Speech Department in 1961, was named registrar of the college in 1971 and remained in that position until 1979. She continued teaching until 1985.
Bjornson was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Rock Island, taught Sunday school, served on the congregation council and held leadership within Illinois Lutheran Church Women and Women of Evangelical Lutheran Church of American. She also a member of the YWCA, PTA, PEO, Boy Scouts, Augustana Endowment Society, American Scandinavian Association, American Cancer Society, Augustana Historical Society, AAUW and the Augustana Alumni Association.
Survivors include her son, Chris (Laura Beckman) Bjornson, New Albany; two grandchildren, Marie Bjornson, Rock Island and Marta Bjornson, New Albany; a sister, Ruth Harriett Aurelius, Panora, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion C. Bjornson.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to her church, American Cancer Society or the D.A. Bjornson Debate Scholarship Fund at Augustana College.
Callie Mae Beach
90; of Clarksville
Funeral services for Callie Mae Beach, 90, of Clarksville, were held at noon today, Monday, Oct. 18, at Scott Funeral Home's Main Street Chapel, with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. She died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Visitation at the funeral home was after 10 a.m. today.
Jereline Marie Creech
78; of Clarksville
Funeral services for Jereline Marie Creech, 78, of Clarksville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Chapman Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Seymour and a member of Utica Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carlos Creech; two sons, Ralph Creech, Benham, Ky. and Don Fort of Louisville; a brother, Robert Raillings, Clarksville; a sister, Alberta Duffy, Cape Coral, Fla. and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 18 and noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Bonnie Rose King
80; homemaker
Funeral services for Bonnie Rose King, 80, of Clarksville, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Scott Funeral Home's Main Street Chapel, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Westminster Village.
She was a native of Jeffersonville and a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Art King and wife, Betty, Louisville; a daughter, Janet Bowles, Jeffersonville; a sister, Mary Jane Sage, Columbus.; a brother, Clifford G. Myers Jr. and wife, Betty, Sellersburg; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. King.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Hazel Lincoln McCartin, 84, of Sellersburg, formerly of Milltown, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. New Albany. She died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ and a former supervisor for the U.S. Census Bureau.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Casteel, Sellersburg; a brother, Joe Lincoln, New Albany; granddaughter, Linda Durham and her husband, Brent, Sellersburg; grandson, Richard Casteel and his finance, Emily Wright, Sellersburg and a great-grandson, Tyler Casteel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. McCartin and a daughter, Linda McCartin.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 18 and after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
