Funeral services for Ruth Wininger, 82, of Sellersburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery. She died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Sellersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of Sellersburg First Baptist Church and retired from West Clark School System.
Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn Schuff and husband, Frank and Toni Dreyer and husband, Carl, Sellersburg; a sister, Vickie Weaver, Sellersburg; four grandchildren, Annette Dailey, Eddie Schuff, Ray Dreyer and C. A. Dreyer and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 18.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
Dale W. Mitsch
86; of Georgetown
Funeral services for Dale W. Mitsch, 86, of Georgetown, were held at 10:30 a.m. today, Monday, Oct. 18, at Sillings Cemetery
in Georgetown. He died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at his home.
He was owner and operator of Dale Mitsch Mortgage Co. in New Albany and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, the former Zelpha Schoen, Georgetown; and one brother, Fern Mitsch, Germany.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dale W. Mitsch Jr.
Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 17, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.

80; of Floyd County
Funeral services for Repsie Sanders, 80, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Howard Chapel Baptist Church. She died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004.
A wake will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 18, at the church.

Elizabeth 'Betty' Springler
59; of Floyd Knobs
Funeral services for Elizabeth "Betty" Carroll Sprigler, 59, of Floyds Knobs, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and was born in New Albany March 22, 1945 to the late Hollis Calvin and surviving mother Martha Carroll of New Albany.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, George E. Sprigler Jr.; a daughter, Dana Becker and her husband, Jason, Floyds Knobs; two sons, Jason Sprigler and Eddie Sprigler and wife, Emily, all of Floyds Knobs; two sisters, Barbara Kochert and husband, Ron, Lanesville and Nancy Jacobi and husband, Vincent, Louisville; three brothers, Hollis Carroll III and wife, Janice, Floyds Knobs, Bill Carroll and wife, Janet, Corydon and Kevin Carroll and wife, Connie, Floyds Knobs and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 18, at Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. A prayer service will be at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sara Kathryn Stallings
90; of New Albany
Funeral services for Sara Kathryn Stallings, 90, of New Albany, were held at 2 p.m. (CDT) today, Monday, Oct. 18, at Werry Funeral Home, Poseyville, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Wadesville. She died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Robert E. Lee Healthplex, New Albany.
She was a native of Posey County and retired from JC Penney and was a member of Shawnne Baptist Church in Louisville.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Neely, New Albany; a sister, Carole Wenderoth and husband, Jack, Wadesville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.
William "Billy" Lee Jones Jr.
39; Army veteran
Funeral services for William "Billy" Lee Jones Jr., 39, of Charlestown, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Gilt Edge Baptist Church, Jeffersonville, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. He died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, in Louisville.
He was born Jan. 9, 1965 in Jeffersonville to Shirley and William Jones Sr. He was baptized at a early age and was a member of Gilt Edge Baptist Church. He was a former press operator at Rhodes Printing Co. Inc., of Charlestown, working for the company for eight years and was currently employed with Ivy Hill Printing of Louisville. He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School and attended RETS Electronics School. He was also an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Jones; five children, William, Kelsey, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Noah, all of Charlestown; his parents, Shirley Jones and William Jones Sr.; a sister; five brothers and a host of family and friends.
Visitation at the church will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17 and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Norma J. Harrell
78; Retired nursing assistant
Funeral services for Norma J. Harrell, 78, of Elizabeth, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth. She died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was the former Norma J. Keeton, a native of New Albany and a retired nursing assistant at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was a member of Old Union Church in Elizabeth.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Harrell; a son, Terry W. Cheek and wife, Becky, Concord, N.C.; a daughter, Connie Geary and husband, Michael, Elizabeth; stepsons, John Harrell, New Albany and Robert Harrell and wife, Roseann, Corydon; stepdaughters, Robbie Harmon and husband, Mike, Louisville and Dacia Snelling and husband, Dave, Jeffersonville; a brother, Thomas Keeton Jr., Nabb; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17.
Anita Jane Jones
84; of Clarksville
Funeral services for Anita Jane Jones, 84, of Clarksville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville, with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Fowler and a former resident of Scottsburg. She was a retired teacher for the Morton Memorial Daycare and Jack and Jill Kindergarten. She was a member of Homemakers Club of Clark County and Morton Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Jones; a son, Larry Jones, Clarksville; a daughter, Janet Huntsinger and husband, James, Charlestown; grandchildren, Brent Huntsinger, Diane Richert, Pamela Huntsinger, Daryl Huntsinger and Jason Jones and great-grandchildren, Stacey, Casey and Andrea.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 28.
Irene C. Berg
96; Harrison County native
Funeral services for Irene C. Berg, 96, of New Albany, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, in Knightsville.
She was the former Irene C. Anderson, a native of Harrison County and formerly attended Main Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn A. Winn, Brazil.; two grandchildren, Michael E. Winn and wife, Norma and John J. Winn and wife, Sarah, all of Brazil; and three great-grandchildren, Anna Pflueger and husband, Andy, Louisville, Stephanie Allen and husband, Bradley, Shreveport, La. and Jonathan S. Winn, Brazil.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rena Roudenbush Anderson; two brothers, Frank and Ivan Anderson and three sisters, Hazel Dietrich, Anna McKim and Mabel Yenawine.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29.
