Funeral services for Everett E. "Pete" Hines, 59, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes with burial in Veron Cemetery. He died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was a native of New Albany and an Iron Worker. He was a member of V.F.W. Bonnie Sloan Post, the Moose Lodge, Viet Nam Club and Forty and Eight Voiture Club #1250.
Survivors include four brothers, Paul Hazen, New Albany, Ralph Hazen, Texas, Ronnie Hines, New Albany and Herschel Hines, Clarksville; and three sisters, Bonnie Graves, Wichita, Kan., Roby Hooten, Bowling Green, Ky. and Mayme Edwards, New Albany.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Emma Lou Miles
75; retired teacher
Funeral services for Emma Lou Miles, 75, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at Kraft Chapel with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was a native of Warrick County, a retired school teacher from the New Albany Floyd County School System, and a member of Depauw Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Carl O. Miles; a son, Alan Miles and his wife, Brenda, Charlestown; four daughters, Ruth Fort and her husband, Arthur, Baton Rouge, La.; Diane Turner and her husband, Jerry, Georgetown, and Connie Jackson and her husband, Don, Hopedale, Ma.; three sisters, Rosena Lankford, Huntingburg, Henrietta Stephens, Holland and Jo Shipman, Huntsville, Tex.; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St. in New Albany, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Depauw Memorial United Methodist Church.
Rosa Lee Roberts Panzer
67; of Louisville
Funeral services for Rosa Lee Roberts Panzer, 67, of Louisville, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at Pyke-Calloway Funeral Service in New Albany with burial in Tunnel Hill Cemetery
in Edwardsville. She died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004.
She was a native of Kentucky and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Wolfgang Panzer; two sons, Kenny Roberts, New Albany and Billy Roberts, Munfordville, Ky.; three daughters, Cathy Bottoms, New Albany, Martha Blair, Martinsville, and Linda Jones, Campbellsburg; a step daughter, Monica Mueller, Lawrenceburg, Ga.; four brothers, Aurthur Smith, Earl Smith, David Smith and Bobby Smith, all of Kentucky; three sisters, Barbara Smith and Joyce Davis, both of Kentucky, and Dorothy King, Toledo, Oh.; 17 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral ohme, 1217 E. Spring St., will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 22, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Anyia Diane Brown

Funeral services for Anyia Diane Brown, infant daughter of Amy Brown, Jeffersonville and Donte Montgomery, Louisville, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004.
Survivors other than her parents, a brother, Andre Brown, Jeffersonville; two sisters, Ebony and Asia Montgomery, Jeffersonville; grandparents, Dale and Melissa Estes, Clarksville and Brenda Montgomery, Louisville and great-grandmother, Carolyn Brown, Jeffersonville.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 17 and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
Alberta 'Bert' Brandenburg
81; homemaker
Funeral services for Alberta "Bert" Brandenburg, 81, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Market Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Rehobeth Cemetery, Laconia. She died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was a native of Laconia, a retired homemaker and a member of Scottsville Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Gary L. Brandenburg and wife, Sandy, Pekin; a granddaughter, Susan Brandenburg, Louisville; four nieces, Anita Carder, Sally Williar, Deanna Curts and Janet Crosier and three nephews, Kenenth Crosier, David Foley and Larry Crosier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Levern C. "Brandy" Brandenburg.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18.

Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Wixon, 16-day old daughter of Ron and Lynette Ashby Wixon, Henryville, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at St. Joe Catholic Church, Sellersburg, with burial in R.D. Pyke Crematorium, Henryville. She died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Kosair Children's Hospital, Louisville.
Survivors other than her parents, a brother, Loran Michael Wixon; a sister, Gabi Wixon; maternal grandparents, Mary and Jerry Greenwell and Larry and Linda Ashby, all of Evansville; paternal grandmother, Joyce Wixon, Wallkill, New York and great-grandparents, Dick and Betty Greenwell, Evansville.
Visitation at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 16 with a prayer service at the funeral home.

78; World War II veteran
Funeral services for Buford D. Bullock, 78, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charleston Rd., New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Sellersburg Health & Rehab.
He was a native of Livingston, Ky. and retired truck driver for the Kroger Company. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church, Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his wife, the former Maxine Ross and two sisters, Mary Roberts and Norma Moore, both of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ben Bullock.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16 and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Orel Ellis Poore
91; retired owner-operator of Luxury Marine
Funeral services for Orel Ellis Poore, 91, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, in Jeffersonville.
He was a native of Grant County, Ky., was retired owner-operator for Luxury Marine and was a sales distributor for Lifeguard.
Survivors include two daughters, J. Yvonne McNeal, New Albany and Kye K. Hoehn, Jeffersonville; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Poore, Jeffersonville; companion, Embry Brendle, Jeffersonville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Belle Poore; two sons, Orel E. Poore Jr. and Lloyd G. Poore; a granddaughter, Tonia J. Poore and son-in-law, Grady L. McNeal.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 15.
