Mary Joyce Dulmage
70; retired owner of Joy's Bookstore
Mary Joyce Dulmage, 70, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Hillcrest Centre in Jeffersonville.
She was a native of Clarksville and retired owner of Joy's Bookstore.
Survivors include two sons, Cole I. Dumlage, Clarisville and Charles Robert "Chuck" Dulmage, Lebanon, Ky.; two daughters, Karen R. Dulmage Otto, Germany and Mary Kathleen Ritchie, Jeffersonville; and four grandsons, John and Kurt Dulmage, Taylor Otto and Joshua Ritchie.
Cremation was chosen. Scott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Gene E. Gearing
84; World War II veteran
A memorial service for Gene E. Gearing, 84, of Jeffersonville, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at his home.
He was a native of Indianapolis, the retired owner of Advertising Accountants and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II where he served as sergeant in the 652nd Bomb Squadron. He was a member of Clark Masonic Lodge #40 F & AM, American Legion Post 35 and a retired Colonel with the Civil Air Patrol after 42 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen I. Stoner Gearing; a son, Robert L. Gearing, Utica; a daughter, Betty J. Tapp, Quicny, Fla.; two grandsons, Robert L. Gearing Jr., Utica and Andrew S. Gearing, Jeffersonville; and a granddaughter, Erin N. Gearing, Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Enos Gearing and his mother, Frances A. Banks Gearing.
There will be no visitation. Scott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lurlene McClintock Meyer
81; of Jeffersonville
Fuuneral services for Lurlene McClintock Meyer, 81, of Jeffersonville, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Scott Funeral Home North Chapel with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Riverbend Nursing Home.
She was retired from Clark Memorial Hospital and later worked part time for Willowbrook Nursing Home. She was also a member of the Meigs Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Sherman Wes Meyer; two sons, Dennis R. Meyer, Jeffersonville and Rex E. Meyer, Jeffersonville; a sister, Jean Dorman, Moscow, Id.; two sister-in-laws, Polly McClintock, Jeffersonville and Sarah McClintock, Chapel Hill, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two geat grandchildren, Marissa and Dylan Meyer.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Kidney Foundation.
Kathleen Wells
82; ICI Americas retiree
Funeral services for Kathleen Wells, 82, of Clarksville, will be at noon Friday, Dec. 3, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville, with burial in Ames Chapel Cemetery
in Paoli. She died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was a native of French Lick, a retired production line worker for ICI Americas and a member of Morton Memorial United Methodist Church.
She ws preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wells, and a son, Steven Wayne Wells.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Kay Eason, Pittsboro, Ind.; four sons, Larry Joe Wells, Palmyra, David Lynn Wells, Marietta, Ga., Donald Gene Wells, Clarksville and Ronald Dean Wells, Eden Prairie, Mn.; and three sisters, Sadie Kinsey, Magaleen Archer and Betty Standfield, all of French Lick.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 3.
Elsie L. Gibson
65; Clark County native
Funeral services for Elsie L. Gibson, 65, of Otisco, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, near Otisco. She died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Clark County, a former employee of the Y.M.C.A. and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Gibson Sr.; a son, Virgil Gibson Jr., Otisco; a daughter, Nonnie Hughes, Otisco; a brother, Jim Zollman, Otisco; four sisters, Ruth Lewellen, Henryville, Sylvia Schlechty, Charlestown, Mable Brock, Underwood and Lois Lane, Louisville and granddaughters, Rachelle and Tiffany Hughes, Otisco.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 29 and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Ann Marie Glover
78; retired auditor
Funeral services for Ann Marie Glover, 78, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville, with burial in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Jeffersonville. She died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 at Rose Cottage Quality Care, Jeffersonville.
She was a native of Louisville, retired auditor for the Internal Revenue Service and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.
Survivors include a niece Rebecca Johnson and her husband, Rob, Henryville.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Zenobia Fern 'Nobie' Narron
89; of Sellersburg
Funeral services for Zenobia Fern "Nobie" Narron, 89, of Sellersburg, were held at 11 a.m. this morning, Monday, Nov. 29 at Henryville United Methodist Church, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Henryville. She died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 at Maple Manor Christian Home.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1915 to the late Thomas and Elsie Collins Brishaber. She was a homemaker and a member of Henryville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Shaw, Marysville and Candy Narron and Debbie Wampler, Jeffersonville; three sons, Thomas Lee and Nick Narron, Sellersburg and John Narron, Henryville; two sisters, Doris Zimmerman and Betty Wilt, Henryville; a brother, Arnold Brishaber, Henryville and seven grandchildren, Keith, Hanna and Jason Warren, Billy Shaw, Shawn Narron, Kevin Helton and Gary Wampler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Narron.

Flora E. Lawless Smith
69; a homemaker
Funeral services for Flora E. Lawless Smith, 69, of New Albany, were held at 10 a.m. this morning, Monday, Nov. 29 at Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004 at Lincoln Hills Health Center, New Albany.
She was born in Jamestown, Ky. on Jan. 26, 1935 to the late George R. and Dora Shearer Lawless. She was a homemaker and a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Byrn and husband, Howard, Georgetown; a son, Rex D. Smith, New Albany; two sisters, Imogene Loy, Gibson City, Ill. and Chestelene Mattox, Shelbyville, and a grandchild, Wendy Byrn.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Mills, Vella Ballenger and Bertha Goin and five brothers, Rosco, Roy, Frank, Forrest and Charlie Lawless.
Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.

Evelyn L. Sunderhaus
82; of New Albany
Funeral services for Evelyn L. Sunderhaus, 82, of New Albany, will be held at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004.
She was the former Evelyn Rudolph, a native of Louisville, resided in Floyd County where she was an employee of Priddy Accessories in New Albany for 15 years and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
Survivors include her mother, Adeline Rudolph, 103 years old, Louisville; four sons, Ronald E. Sunderhaus, Lake Wales, Fla., Stephen G. Sunderhaus, Sarasota, Fla., Glen D. Sunderhaus, Bradenton, Fla. and Joe Sunderhaus, Georgetown; two daughters, Cindy Emely, New Albany and Lisa Welbourn, Gilgo Beach, N.Y.; a sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Nichols, Jeffersonville; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
