Collis Harris
Evansville resident Collis A. "Red" Harris died Saturday, Feb. 10, at his home. He was 84.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandy Millard of Evansville, Nancy Gates of Newburgh and Sharon Marks of Sealy, Texas; two sons, James David of Jessup, Md., and William E. of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Alberta DeFur of Poseyville and Marcella Reed of Huntingburg; two brothers, Ronald Ray of Ferdinand and Robert E. of Shell Knob, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Cheryl Kight, Brian Millard, Nathalie Weisman, Michele Coffee, Melissa Cullum, Tami Edwards, Kandi Dodrill, and Nicholas and Andy Gates, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
Mary Raibley
Boonville resident Mary Jane Raibley died Sunday, Feb. 11, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was 80.
She retired in 1988 as owner and president of The Tri-County Credit and Collections and had been co-owner of Owens Grocery Store. She was the first social column reporter for radio station WBNL in the 1950s.
She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church, Warrick County Chamber of Commerce, Daughters of the American Revolution, Business and Professional Women's Association.
She was active in the organizational stages of St. Mary's Warrick.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Ann Poole of Indianapolis; six sons, R. Joseph of Maryville, Tenn., Dr. Stephen O. of Green Bay, Wis., Keith M. of St. Louis, David T. of Mount Vernon, John P. of Evansville and Edward H. of Boonville; 10 grandchildren, Eric, Rachel, Sara, Lizabeth, Erin, Amber and Mike Raibley, Geoffrey Poole and Jill Howery; two great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Owens of Snyder, Texas; and a brother-in-law, Perv Taylor of Boonville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Bradley's Colonial Chapel, continued at St. Clement Catholic Church. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the church.
Evangelo Eleftheratos
Boonville resident Evangelo John Eleftheratos died Saturday, Feb. 10, at his home. The Warrick County coroner is investigating the death.
He was 45.
He lived here for two and a half years after moving here from New York.
He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Angela L.; two stepdaughters, Jennifer and Valeria Jeck, both at home; three sons, Steven at home and Michael and Nickolas, both of Florida; a stepson, James Jeck at home; four sisters; and a brother.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pentecostal Mission of Prayer Church.
Ilah Finchum
Martinsville resident Ilah E. Finchum died Sunday, Jan. 28, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus at 6 a.m. She was 86.
She had lived in Columbus for 48 years.
She retired from Brunings Women's Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbus.
She was a Columbus Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer, a Sunday School teacher and worked with the Girl Scouts.
In her younger years, she was a youth group leader.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Larrison of Newburgh; a sister, Malva Foster of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Laura Larrison and John Finchum; and two great-grandchildren, Avery and Eric Finchum.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Finchum, on Jan. 17, 2000; a son, Myron Eugene Finchum; two brothers, Daniel and James Goss; three sisters, Neva Brock, Margaret Green, Lela Brummett.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Vernon Jewell-Nick Rittman Funeral Home. Rev. Jon Carlstrom officiated. Burial was in Garland Brook Cemetery.

Charles Kemp
Lake City, Fla., resident Charles Robert Kemp died Oct. 31, 1999 at 5 a.m.
He was a truck driver and a member of Philipi Baptist Church and a member of the teamster union in Louisville, Ky.
He was a veteran of World War 2, having served in the 1013th Engineers Treadway Bridge Company.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Kemp of Prescott, Ariz.; a sister, Marge Legget of Evansville; a brother, Jimmy Kemp of Evansville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 3, at Dale Cemetery
in Dale. military services were conducted.
Esther Neville
Newburgh resident Esther M. (Bockelman) Neville died Saturday, Jan. 27, at 3:07 p.m. at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was 89.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She was active in church organizations.
She was past treasurer of the Evansville Mission Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, on Jan. 28, 1973.
Survivors include a brother, Edgar Bockelman of Richland; a stepdaughter, Sara Francis of Cadiz, Ky.; a stepson, Paul Neville of Evansville; a niece and four nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Evansville. Rev. Robert Wurst officiated. Burial was in Lutheran Cemetery
in Evansville.
Alexander Newburgh Chapel handled arrangements.

Wanda Hendren
Gentryville resident Wanda L. Hendren died Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 8:08 a.m. at Deaconess-St. Joseph Hospital in Huntingburg from heart problems. She was 65.
She was a member of the Gentryville United Methodist Church. She had retired in 1998 from Lincolnland Bank in Rockport and was presently working at the Dale Pharmacy in Dale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hendren, on Feb. 13, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Christena Poehlein of Gentryville; a son, Chad Hendren of Gentryville; a sister, Mary Lee Evans of Dale; four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 2, at Gentryville United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Garden of Memory Cemetery
in Gentryville.

Mary Payne
Evansville resident Mary Katherine Payne died Saturday, Jan. 27, at Highland Pointe Healthcare of a heart attack. She was 79.
Survivors include a son, Bob of Newburgh; and two grandchildren, Jesse Payne and Christy Winneke.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 1, at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel. Burial was in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Elbert Farmer
Evansville resident Elbert T. Farmer died Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Deaconess Hospital of complications of a stroke. He was 75.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Neumann of Newburgh; two sisters, Etheleen Baehl of Evansville and Loretta Kindle of Ardmore, Okla.; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 2, at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
