Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, may 5, at Glancy Funeral Homes - H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, with Pastor Todd Thomas officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
Calling hours will be 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, at the funeral home.
Brian A. Timmons, 18
HARTFORD CITY - Brian Allen Timmons, 18 died Saturday, May 1, in an auto accident.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City.
George W. Wallace, Jr., 73,
Hartford City - George William Wallace Jr., 73, passed away Friday morning at Marion General Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Brownstown in 1930 to George Wallace Sr. and Gertrude Johnson Wallace. George had worked for Seyferts for many years and retired in 1990 from the State of Indiana Highway Department. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Hartford City.
Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Wendell Wallace; a sister, Sarah Sutton; and grandsons, Aric and Thomas Lannoy.
George leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 53 years, Vera Wallace, Hartford City; one son, George Wallace III (wife: Debra), Columbus, Indiana; four daughters, Linda McCammon (boyfriend: Charles Moody), North Vernon, Vickie Ruble (husband: Terry), Kokomo, Elizabeth Shannon (husband: Jerry), Kokomo, and Cynthia McCray (husband: Skip), Niles, Michigan; a sister, Opal Lord, Summerset, Indiana; a brother, Walter Wallace (wife: Janet), Hartford City; a sister-in-law, Alice Wallace, Iowa; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Garden View Funeral Home, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Burial will be conducted at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed to: American Cancer Society, Lions Club-Montpelier, or First Christian Church.

MONTPELIER - Keith D. King, 34, died at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at his residence.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, at First Church of the Nazarene, 440 N. Standard Blvd., Montpelier, with Rev. Jack Littlefield officiating.
Burial will be at Brookside Memorial Park, Montpelier.

DUNKIRK - Nina June Skeens, 77, was called home to her heavenly Father on Saturday, May 15, she passed away at home after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, at the First Freewill Baptist Church, County Road 600 South, Dunkirk, with Pastor Mark Sluss and Pastor Marion Donathan officiating.
Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 17, at M.J.S. Mortuaries - D.W. Jones Chapel, Dunkirk.

DUNKIRK - Rev. Rumsey F. Rodgers, 85, went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, June 15, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

Margaret Ellen Lawson, 89
HARTFORD CITY - Margaret Ellen Lawson, 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13th, 2004, at 9:42 a.m. at the
Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton, Indiana.
She was a resident of the Warren United Methodist Home in Warren, IN. for the past 2 years. She was former resident of 1405 North Monroe Street in Hartford City.
Margaret was born on January 26th, 1915 in Hartford, Indiana, Ohio County to Rev. C. Emery Smith and Gail Josephine (Hillman) Smith. Both parents proceed her in death. She is also preceded in death by 2 brothers Stanley Smith and Willard A. Smith.
Margaret married Freeman Thurlow "Toby" Lawson on January 9th, 1944 in Jolietville, Indiana. He survives.
Margaret was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Hartford City. She was a retired School Teacher. She taught in area schools and taught the 1st grade at William Reed School for 16 years before retiring in 1977. She graduated from Montpelier, Indiana High School in 1933 and from Ball State University in 1937 with a B.A. in teaching and received her Masters Degree from Ball State University in 1961.
Margaret was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma International Society of Teachers.
Margaret was a member of the Purity Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Margaret is survived by her husband Tody, her son Charles E. "Chuck" (Wife-Claudia) Lawson of Hartford City, her daughter Jo Ellen (Husband-David) McIntire of Decatur, her 3 grandchildren: Jill (Husband-Nathan) Noblitt of Westfield, Mark (Wife-Carrie) McIntire of Greenwood, Kelly J. (Husband-Josh) Roby - Decatur, 4 great grandchildren Luke Roby of Decatur, Mariah McIntire, Lydia McIntire and Caleb McIntire both of Greenwood, 3 Sisters: Ruth (Husband-John) Maxwell of Milan, IN., Betty (Husband-Clyde) Armstrong of Greenburg, IN. Janet (Husband-Darwin) Markley of New Haven, IN. and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Margaret will be Sunday, August 15th, 2004 from 2:00 -6:00 p.m. at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High Street Hartford City; and on Monday from 9:00 a.m till the service at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church 312 West Washington Street in Hartford City.
The funeral will be on Monday, August 16, 2004 at10:00 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church, 312 West Washington Street Hartford City with Rev. Gary Hall officiating.
Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery
in Muncie, IN.

Jean Guthrie, 89
HARTFORD CITY - Jean Guthrie, 89, former resident of 100 Independence Parkway, Hartford City, died at 2:04 a.m. Monday, August 9, in the Americare Living Center, Hartford City.
She was born April 29, 1915, in Muncie, the daughter of Herman and Cora (Cannady) Guthrie.
A graduate of Selma High School, she worked as a secretary in Tokyo, Japan, after World War II, and later worked in Jacksonville, Fla., and Milwaukee, Wis., moving to Hartford City in 1995.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Edith Guthrie, Muncie; two nephews, Robert (wife, Sue) Wyne, Hartford City; John C. (wife, Kathy) Guthrie, Muncie; two nieces, Sara Jane (Mrs. Myron) Moyer, Hagerstown and Sandra (Mrs. Jim) Beard, Olympia, Wash.
Miss Guthrie was a member of Order of Eastern Star #564, New Burlington.
At her request there will be no funeral services.

WARREN - Virginia Ardella Freestone, 89, died Tuesday, August 10, at the United Methodist Memorial Home, Warren.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 28 at 1 p.m. (Michigan time), at the Simpson United Methodist Church in Bangor, Mich. with Rev. Charles McNary officiating.
