William Sharer
BOONVILLE — William L. Sharer, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh of Parkinson's Disease.
He retired from Whirlpool Corp. in 1983 and was a musician, playing with several country music bands. He enjoyed fishing and was an electrician.
Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis Cowan of DeMoines, Iowa; a son, Kenneth L. of Maryneal, Texas; two sisters, Pauline James of Pelzer and Edna Young of Bowling Green, Ky.; a brother, Nelson of Wickliffe, Ky.; three stepgrandchildren, Kenny and Thomas Smith and Charity Lynn; nieces and nephews; and caretakers, Jack Underhill and Velma Moore.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mary Jenell Sharer, in 1992.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with burial in Freedom Cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Carl Cooke Jr.
Carl Duncan Cooke Jr., 50, of Big Pine Key, Fla., formerly of Evansville, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at Fisherman's Hospi- tal of heart problems.
He was a Snap-On Tool dealer in Marathon, Fla. In Evansville, he had been the body shop foreman for Cooke Chevrolet.
Surviving are his wife, Jane; a daughter, Kimber Cooke of Evansville; a son, Christopher of Evansville; his mother, Margery Stoll of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; his father, Duncan Cooke of Evansville; and two sisters, Linda South of Evansville and Rancene Cooke of Smyrna, Ga.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Evansville, the Rev. Dennis Davenport officiating.
The Martin Vegue & McCluney Funeral Home in Marathon handled arrangements in Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Miami, Fla.
William Wiles
William "Bill" "Mut" Wiles, 84, of Evansville, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Regina Continuing Care.
He worked for Ice Service and Co. and retired from the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corp. after 27 years. He was a World War II Air Corps veteran.
He was a member of Leasing Masonic Lodge 464, Scottish Rite, Fendrich Men's Golf Club and St. Lucas United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Lois Bost Wiles; and his caretakers, Doris Bradford, Betty Hammond and June Walters.
Services will be private. Boone Funeral Home East Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Christian Church or his church.
Infant Damaur Farmer
Infant Damaur Michael Farmer, the son of Linda Garrett and David Farmer of Evansville, was stillborn Thursday, Nov. 16, 2001.
Also surviving are three sisters, LaToya and Terelle Garrett and Jayda Thomas; a twin brother, David Maurice Farmer Jr.; a brother, Marcus Garrett; and his grandparents, the Rev. Robert and Jacqueline Farmer and Elvin and Hazel Adams of Evansville.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, the Rev. Robert Farmer officiating.
Osborne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Larry Holder
Larry J. Holder, 54, of Evansville, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital of congestive heart failure.
He was a Marine Corps veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Staci Sumrall of Evansville; his mother, Christine Witt of Evansville; a brother, Wilford of Haubstadt, Ind.; two grandchildren, Cody Sumrall and Kelsi Bogard; and his fiancee, Jean Deetz.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Richard Clifton officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Joseph Tinsley Jr.
Joseph Henry Tinsley Jr., 49, of Evansville, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at Westpark Rehabilitation Center of apparent heart failure.
He worked for Glenmore Distillery for 23 years.
He was a Marine Corps veteran and was a member of Pleasant Point Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Ridge, Ky.
Surviving are two daughters, Monica Nelson of Indianapolis and Jereeta L. Tinsley of Owensboro, Ky.; two sons, Arlando of Owensboro and Joseph D. of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Joanne Kendall and Rita Moorman, both of Owensboro; two brothers, Kenneth B. of Jacksonville, Fla., and James A. of Owensboro; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Street Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro, with burial in Pleasant Point Cemetery
in Pleasant Ridge, Ky.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time at the church.

Arnold Howes
PETERSBURG - Arnold Howes, 61, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Gibson General Hospital of heart failure.
He worked for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star for six years and Jasper Rubber Products for 38 years.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Beulah Miley Howes; a daughter, Candy Edrington of Oakland City; three sons, Arnie Lee of Princeton, Mickey of Petersburg and Randy of Winslow; two sisters, Ramona of Texas and Juanita of California; a foster brother, Jay Maurer of Florida; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. EST Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Twin Oaks Cemetery.

Irene Hall
TELL CITY - Irene F. (Hoy) Hall, 89, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Tell City Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Wanda Paulin of Tell City and Meryle Powers of Boonville; two sons, Jay of Tell City and Marion of Indianapolis; three sisters, Vivian Rabidau of Onarga, Ill., Marie Ellen Fletcher of Williamsport and Joann Neal of Illinois; 14 grandchildren, Lisa Wint, Cheryl Lawalin, Debbie Feix, Karen VanConey, Cynthia Saltzman, Kimberly Jolley, Larry, David, Charles, Keith and Bill Hall, Bobby Bryant, Brenda Sims and Darla Murphy; 27 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Hall, in 1974; and a son, Jesse "Hud" Hall, in 1960.
Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Monday at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel, with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery
in Gatchel.

Paul Graham Sr.
CHANDLER - Paul Rhea Graham Sr., 76, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Angel River Nursing Home in Newburgh of chronic emphysema.
He retired from Colonial Bakery and was a longtime member of Bakery, Confectionary Workers International Union.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Scales of Newburgh; two sons, Paul Rhea II of Newburgh and David of Chandler; a friend and caretaker, Pauline Crews of Evansville; 10 grandchildren, Angie Willem, Mandi Heavrin, Barry, Keith, Todd, Gwen, Justin and Paul Rhea Graham III and Jeff and Scott Scales; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Marguerite "Marge" Graham, in 1970; and a daughter, Paula Sue Rhoades, in 1993.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, with military rites.
