Calling is from 2-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1190W-500N, with Bishop Alan Holyoak officiating.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the Humanitarian Aid Fund, in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington IN 46750.

Michael Katovich

Michael Katovich, 70, Beavercreek, Ohio, died at 5:55 a.m. Thursday (April 25, 2002) at the Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

Calling hours are Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Roanoke Memorial Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ron Burns officiating.

Burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery in Roanoke.

Preferred memorials are to the Hospice of Dayton, care of Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Roanoke Memorial Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr., Roanoke, IN 46783, or M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 297153, Houston, TX 77297.

Sister Vivian Lembeck

Sister Vivian Lembeck O.L.V.M., 91, died at 9:45 a.m. at the Holy Family Health Care Center at Victory Noll.

Arrangements are pending at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.

Arneda G. Lopshire Fulk

Arneda G. Lopshire Fulk, 77, Columbia City, died Tuesday (April 23, 2002) at her daughter’s home in Mesa, Ariz.

Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Smith and Son Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City, and one hour before the 11:30 a.m. Saturday funeral services at the Grace Lutheran Church, 204 N. Main St., Columbia City. Rev. James Cress will conduct the services.

Burial is at the Eel River Cemetery, rural Churubusco.

Preferred memorials are to the Native American Heritage Mission Fund, Rapid City, S.D.

Concepcion ‘Connie’ Gonzalez

Concepcion “Connie” Gonzalez, 92, Lapel, died at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at the Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville.

Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel in Warren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Clifton Smith and Rev. Peter Yaruchyk officiating.

Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.

The Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Marshall G. Dunfee

Marshall G. Dunfee, 64, Laud, died at noon Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne, where he was admitted on Monday. He had been in failing health.

Calling is from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. James Clifford officiating.

Burial will be at Jefferson Chapel Cemetery, Whitley County.

The Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a volunteer fireman service at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.

Mary E. Kocher

Mary E. Kocher, 99, died at 4:35 a.m. Thursday (April 25, 2002) at Miller’s Merry Manor, Huntington.

Calling is from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Huntington Chapel where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Richard Bunnell officiating. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Preferred memorial is to Bethel Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Virginia ‘Ginny’ Studebaker

Virginia “Ginny” Studebaker, 70, of Bluffton, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday (April 24, 2002) in her home.

Calling is from 1-8 p.m. Thursday at Goodwin Memorial Chapel, 3220 E. Ind.-124, Bluffton. There will also be visitation two hours prior to the funeral service, which begins at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Rev. Mike Hirschy, Rev. Rick Watson, and Rev. Tom Bradley will officiate.

Burial will be at Six Mile Cemetery, Bluffton.

Preferred memorials are to Concerned Parents of the Handicapped or the Hospice of Northeast Indiana.

Clayton A. Penn

Clayton A. Penn, 91, 1124 E. State St., died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday (April 23, 2002) at his home.

Calling is from noon until the 2 p.m. services Thursday at the Deal-Robbins and Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Rev. Dale Linhart will officiate.

Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice.
