Robert E. “Bobby” Legge, 50, rural Markle, died Friday (April 19, 2002) at the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-5 and 7-9 Monday at Elsey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Homes, Ossian Chapel, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian. Additional calling will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 5912 W. Sugar St., Uniondale. Services will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Bill Peterson officiating. Burial will be at the Horeb Cemetery, Wells County, with graveside military rites.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Uniondale Volunteer Fire Department, Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, or the North American Brain Tumor Coalition.

Dorothy Gallagher

Dorothy Gallagher, 88, Fort Wayne, died at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday (April 17, 2002) at St. Anne’s Home in Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 4-7 p.m. Friday, with recitation of the rosary at 4 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., with Father Gary Sigler officiating.

Burial will be at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Peru.

Preferred memorials are to Masses at the church or to the donor’s choice of charities, in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Esther H. Lynn

Esther H. Lynn, 99, died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday (April 16, 2002) at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, where she was a resident.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Memorial Home, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Pastor Kathie Jones will officiate.

Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.

Preferred memorials are to the United Methodist Memorial Home Scholarship Fund, in care of Glancy Funeral Homes, Butler Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, IN 46792.

Gladys M. Tribolet

Gladys M. Tribolet, 90, a former resident of Roanoke, died at 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday (April 16, 2002) at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.

Visitation will be Friday from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. Noel Reed and Pastor Veryl Roth will officiate.

Interment will be at the Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.

Preferred memorials are to the Seminary United Methodist Church Women’s Group or to the Manchester College Claude and Gladys Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Christine A. Clark

Christine A. Clark, 34, Fort Wayne, died unexpectedly at 2:45 a.m. Monday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday and noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Todd Wilson officiating.

Burial will be at Grass Creek Cemetery, Rochester.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Allen County.

Thomas E. Pentenburg

Thomas E. Pentenburg, 70, Lima, Ohio, died at 2:55 p.m. Sunday (April 14, 2002) at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Calling is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, 920 N. Cable Rd., Lima, Ohio, where a parish wake will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Lima, with Rev. David M. Ross officiating.

Interment will be at the Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Central Catholic Capital Campaign, and Lima/Allen County Right to Life, or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Freda G. Overmyer

Freda Geneva Overmyer, 87, a former resident of Roanoke, died at 4 a.m. Saturday (April 13, 2002) at Miller’s Merry Manor in Huntington.

Calling is 1-3 p.m. Monday at Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington County Humane Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington IN 46750.

Clayton O. Pease

Clayton O. Pease, 76, Buchanan, Mich., died at 6:35 p.m. Saturday (April 13, 2002) at St. Joseph Medical Center in South Bend.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, Mich.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Nazarene in Buchanan with Rev. Leonard Bailey officiating.

Burial will be at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.

Gerin P. Rudy

Gerin Phillip Rudy,. 27, Marion, died at 3 a.m. Saturday (April 14, 2002) at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

Calling is 6-8 p.m. Monday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will be at the Marion National Cemetery.

Elinor Paloma Schroder, 87, Webster Groves, Mo., died Thursday (April 11, 2002) in Webster Groves.

Calling is from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Pfitzinger Funeral Home, 366 S. Kirkwood Rd., Kirkwood, Mo., and Monday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Rock Hill South Webster Presbyterian Church, 9407 Manchester, Rock Hill, Mo.

Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, St. Louis.

Calling will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Charles Dye Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion.
